So you think you know something that I don't know? So you think you know something that Danster and Spark and the rest of the most trusted members who have been here forever know? Guess what. You don't. I've been patient with you this past year. I haven't been putting my foot down like I once did, and perhaps that was a mistake. Things are PEACEFUL and CORRECT when I show no mercy to your ignorant little kind. And we will gladly continue on for another 10 years without you. Anybody else out there reading this who is getting sick of all the internal political bullshit gossip around these parts lately. Anybody else sick of "power hungry" people living out their child molestation angst in our online community? If you are, please speak up, and speak out against the fucks who are ruining things for the rest. And once and for all please remember: THIS IS JUST A @#%$ GAME.

Most of us have things in our lives that we all want to get away from, work, family or whatever either because we love to write, love Star Wars or love the people that come here, or all of those things. TGC is a community of like minded people from all over the world and we're all here just to have fun, so please leave your attitudes, spiteful remarks etc back where they belong in your life that you come here to get away from.

People they don't' like, etc. It's human nature. But to go out a flame someone, insult, or even accuse someone of something they don't know about, well, that is just immature. We should all be able to get along. And people with negative opinions, keep them to yourselves. That's about all I have to say. I'm still pretty speechless that this could happen. I always saw TGC as one big family. Members were always there for each other when things looked bad, and well, yeah, I just can't believe that it has come to this.... EDIT: Also, I know sometimes my emotions get the better of me, and sometimes I say things I don't' mean. If I ever offended anyone in the past, I would like to take the time to apologize. I've flamed people, like Kyp, and I know it's wrong. It's even worse when advice on the very subject comes from me. Grow up, people. I know that some of you have horrible lives, and for that I am sorry. But a lot of people come here to escape the bad drama and immerse themselves in IC awesomeness. IN CHARACTER! None of these OOC arguments that seem to happen all too often. As I have said, I'm guilty too. But as I have said to a good friend, I'm trying to become a better person about that.

Play nice, be respectful, and if you feel like you need to argue with someone, just ignore them. Go rp with someone else. Remember you control your character and your actions. While you can't make others change, you have control of your self, so if someone flames you? No big deal. You don't need to dignify it with a response. Most mature members here can tell right away a legitimate grievance from immature non-sense, flaming and the like. That said, let the stomping begin. Go bigfoot! Er, isn't bigfoot he a wookie?

Unfortunately, I speak from personal experience, and yes, I have been a culprit in the past. (years ago, however.) If I've got a problem, I'm pretty good about being public about it though (which whoever is speaking out should have the decent manner to reveal themselves.). Through the years, I've discovered that a game is a game, and it's certainly not worth destroying friendships nor communities. Unfortunately, I learned that a little too late. There are only a certain number here who know what TGC was once like, though I miss those days, what TGC has now is just as good, perhaps if not better than what it used to be. If you have to complain, get it over with and be done with it, please. Whatever issues you might have, I can assure you that it's completely not worth disrupting a whole community for. I spent nearly three months not thinking about TGC, not checking here, because I got sick of taking the crap. Now, I'm watching it happen to someone I consider one of my best friends. Why? Because they don't know how to keep their own personal feelings about people private. You know, honestly? I don't care what you think about someone. Everyone here is entitled to hate if that floats your boat. I think it's a waste of energy personally, and you'll hurt yourself far more through hate than you will ever hurt the person you have those feelings against. You will think of them far more than they will consider you. Ever. And that seems a little silly to me. But that's your choice. Go ahead. Hate. But keep it to yourself. There is no reason to be a snot about it. I have my own feelings about a number of different members here. And honestly? Those I don't like I avoid. Or if I cannot avoid them, I'm civil. Saying nasty things about someone behind their back, oreven flaming them to their face is an unacceptable way of dealing with being irritated by someone. Learn to treat others as adults, or get out of the pool. If differences cannot be discussed in an honest and adult fashion, either due to misunderstanding or communication issues between two people, find a mediator or, as stated... avoid them. You don't have to like everyone here. But you also don't have to make anyone feel like dirt because you don't like them. No one. NO ONE! Should ever feel like they need to leave a community because people say hurtful things. If you don't like that, tough. But speak to me personally over it if you do have a problem.

That is the mature thing to do. If you cant be mature and confront the problem,then let it boil and fester inside and keep it to yourself. Dont let that problem get in the way of IC matters. Keep OOC and IC seperate.

But, I do agree with Ceel on how the quote is applied. I also agree that most want to get into a good RP to get away from life outside this great site, even if just for a bit.
