Kady relaxed a little, despite, the woman’s hysterical tone. Knowing what was going on made her feel better, even if it wasn’t really knowing, since the woman still spoke in what seemed to be riddles.

She mused over the speech the woman had given. “No touching, I promise.” Kady said, “Gods punish me should I lie.” What she didn’t voice was her questions- she’d asked enough of the poor woman already. But still- who were these people that were coming after her, what was this “joining”, and why shouldn’t they touch her?

These questions just didn’t seem right to ask the distressed woman, not when it seemed to Kady that she already had her orders. No touching, no touching. Not leaving is not going until left was right. No touching.

Kady rummaged around in her bag. If people were coming- people who didn’t seem to be very nice (even though the simplistic phrase didn’t really cover what the woman seemed to be feeling) she didn’t want to be caught without any thing to use. To her dismay, the only combat-useful thing she seemed to have brought was the hydrospanner- she could always deck someone with it. The same was true for the gizmo, but Kady didn’t really want to break it again- not unless she had to.

Halik was just drifting around the Ferret, it seemed that the order to launch the fighters had been delayed. Actually it seemed like everything had been delayed, no one was really do much anywhere that he knew of... Wait a second... where is everyone. I have not seen anyone for ages... (this was very true considering he had not even been seen in the thread for more than a few posts early on). Quickly he spun around in a circle, not good he quickly grew dizzy, and changed course, as if he had had one to begin with, and headed towards the mess hall.

As he walked he suddenly got the urge to... walk backwards. So he complied with the urge. An onlooker would have thought him odd because he did so in a way that it made him look like he was walking forward but moving backwards, something he did not even know he could do. Suddenly he stopped and shook his head. What in the... why did I do that? The pilot shrugged it off and started going forward again, feeling really funny.

Around when he got to the same spot he had been before he jumped forward into a roll. When he got up out of the roll an eyebrow was raised. I did not decide to do that. Then suddenly as if he had no control over his body he started running clear off towards the mess hall. His arms flailed in an odd patern as he ran, most would think him handicapped... mentaly that is. Might as well be...

Not knowing any better, and not caring to know any better, Inson followed Jon's instructions, and rather than staying out in the open, ducked behind the corner, and allowed Jon to meet Serrena. Of course, having listened to Jon's instructions earlier, Inson instinctively fingered the coregin-primed injector and listened at this point, rather than observed. Observation would have revealed him to Serrena, and in the state that the crew seemed to be in, that was, bat-poodoo crazy, that could have been a good or a bad thing. Inson saw Serrena like a sister, and well, he would have hated, absolutely hated if anything had happened that was out of that kind of spectrum.

And judging by the way she was talking to Jon...Well, dang....Though they certainly had a very sibling like relationship, Inson found himself blushing at many of Serrena's implications! What were they talking about though? Inson knew that Serrena was probably in to some kinky stuff, but roleplay? No, with Jon's talk of 'Force Ghosties" or whatever, his words of forewarning at everyone being possessed were definitely true. Now, Inson didn't know about all of this Force stuff, but he had seen some Jedi doing some elaborate things in his life through strange magicks and hoopajooery, so something like a bunch of Force Ghosts possessing people and making them go nutso didn't seem so far out.

But if the crew was just messing with him, he would be pissed!

All thoughts of anger and revenge left his mind as he heard the undeniable roar of a very pissed off Mandalorian; it was Savin! And he was pretty angry!! Grabbing the injector even more tightly, Inson didn't wait for any word or indication from Jon, who was either a really good actor or really messed up at this point, and turned into the corridor. Instead of moving to save Savin though, Inson found himself watching in awe as Jon--err, whoever it was, doing something to Savin other than allowing him to pound them into not-so-sentient goo with his massive Mandalorian fists. He seemed to be, for lack of a better word, molesting Savin's mind!

"Woah...That's rather wicked..."

The words came out like gasps, unintentional, but audible, much to the chagrin of Inson Veritas.

Sweeping Lilith up in his arms, Samael gave her a long soft kiss and turned to carry her to Serrena’s quarters. The images she had shared with him had tantalized him and he was eager to have her begin. He was eager to begin his tender ministrations on her, too – definitely a win-win situation as he saw it.

"Woah...That's rather wicked..."

Samael stopped in his tracks. He had forgotten all about Inson and, for the life of him, he couldn’t tell if the lad was about to run or throw up. Neither, he hoped.

“Inson, I’m so glad you are here. I have two tasks for you.”

“First, I want you to watch Savin. If he appears coherent, tell him the easiest way to rid himself of his final visitant is to go into the Ysalamiri Holding – that will drive it away. Then tell him, in the coming battle, to remember who helped rid him of his demons when he chooses sides.”

“The second thing I need you to do Inson, after you have finished with Savin, is to go to Alema. Tell her… Inson, please tell her that all I want is to spend the rest of my days with my Lilith. If we can come to some accommodation that will allow that,… I will surrender to her, or I will take Lilith and go far away, anything Inson, anything she wants - as long as I don’t have to risk losing my beloved again.”

“Now, please, go and do as I’ve asked.”

Samael watched Inson walk warily toward the big Mandalorian for a moment before turning back to Lilith.

“My love? Is this fool Jon inside of me making me NICE?” Sighing disconsolately he continued, “Even so, if I can find a way to keep us together it will be worth it.”

He kissed her again; deeply… passionately… hungrily.

“We must hurry my darling, I don’t know how much time we have; and…, I need you so badly.”

New Post Re: On the Fringes...(CFR Only)
Savin was unaware of the words that where spoken to him. In fact, he was completely unaware of the struggle that was going on outside of his mind. Of the animal that had control of his body. Of the mate it wanted to reclaim. Although he felt certain...-things-.

The rush of adrenaline that comes with releasing one's rage like lifting the gates that held back an ocean. The sensation of argent claws digging into a rival's hide. But, there was no blood. How could that be? Did the rival not bleed? Of course he did. But, the animal knew not a force powered shield when he encountered one. Even with the shield, the force blows the beast offered the barrier where incredible. Far more than a man's body should be able to exert. But, brute strength, no matter -how- considerable, was no match for the sith master's finite control.

The D'xun-bred beasts soon found themselves flying down the hall from their den with great force. Out of reflex, the beasts lashed out toward the wall and floor to attempt to bring their tumble under control, bringing them to a skidding halt on all fours. Savin blinked as he realized that he was outside his bunk. And that he was crouching on the floor outside his bunk. And that he was -twelve feet- from his door, crouching on the floor outside his bunk. And...that he was very alone in his head.

".....!!??" There where no words for what he saw. Along the wall and trailing to him along the floor were a number of gouges, usually in fours. The closet of which led, along the floor, up to his fingertips. Themselves, still embedded into the durasteel surface past his first knuckles. Savin lifted his hand slowly, expecting to need a total droid replacement for the appendages...only to find that his fingers where -completely- unharmed. His confusion was compounded by the fact that the furrows where much to wide too have been made by his bare hand. But, how then.....?

"...nnnhhNNYYAAARRRHH!!"

A call of pure rage escaped the Mando'ad's throat as he flung himself, back first, into the nearest wall. And then, again. And again. And again. He finally felt the will of the animal, that as near as he could tell was a strill of the D'xun variety, relent. The incredible rage of the Mando was enough to keep the beast at bay and cowed in a dark corner of the warrior's mind. Without the help of the other spirits, the strill was little match for the anger of the Mandalorian.

It finally downed on him what had been happening. And why he felt like he had been fighting so hard. It was more than one, he estimated from the amount of voices he remembered hearing somewhere in the neighborhood of six, individuals that attacked him as a group. Even -they- could not subdue his iron-clad will. Savin's incredible grasp on his sense of self forced them to use the still to break inside. It worked. But, it seemed they couldn't control what they unleashed. The D'xun-born Mando'ad'a memories about the specifics where hazy, to say the least, but he remembered -enough-, as far as he was concerned. The things he was doing.

The Mando stood, closing his eyes at all the apologies he would be doling out before he started off down the hall to find someone and figure out why a number of people he never met before just tried to take over his body. And who he had to kill to make it all right, again.....

Alema perked up like an animal listening to the faraway movements of her prey. "Kaaady..." She sang as a smile spread across her face. "I found us a toy. I don't know if he'll try to kill me or agree to serve me, but we will see..."

She stood, swayed a bit on her feet, and finally got her bearings. "I need you to follow me. I think he can't get inside. I should be too strong for them, but I don't know how many others are nearby. Someone..." She hummed a few random notes. "Someone is very upset with him. That makes my little one upset and we mustn't have that." Her eyes narrowed as she lurched forward to find her way toward the hall where she could find Savin. Now and again she paused, beckoning urgently to the others to follow her. "Come!" she hissed. "You must trust me!"

She turned the corner and held onto the vertex of the walls between her fingertips. Her eyes widened as she gazed over at Savin, waiting for him to pause and notice her. She stared, her pupils dilated from the glitterstim. "Ooooh, I see..." she whispered. Her voice was melodic and dreamy, seemingly paying little attention to the presence of an audience to her ravings. "So you won't know me after all. Not as you are. You're..... empty. Poor Savin. It's so hard to be alone. But maybe you're better this way. I couldn't trust the others."

It was so strange to feel sensations from senses that are very much -not- one's own. He could hear the groan of metal as the CFR's spaceframe settled, naturally. He could -smell- the carnal scent of a pair of crewmates having a 'meeting' in a nearby bunk. And he could -plainly- see that something was amiss with the comms officer the -moment- his grey eyes met her cerulean form.

"Cobalt? What the hell is going on around here?" He approached her swiftly as his long strides devoured the distance between them. His weary mind was set at ease the moment he saw her. He always knew he could count on her to keep a level head about things. She probably had all this figured out by now and came to find him so she could tell him her kandosii plan to get them out of this jam, whatever it was, and -not- be hanging out on the corner of this hallway, completely high off her sheb on glitterstim...

wait...what?

Alema watched Savin for a moment, seeming less like she was listening to the Mando and more like she was watching his lips move, uncomprehending of any meaning that might be in his words. He looked so worried. Now wasn't that odd? Why would he worry about her? According to all decent evidence he hadn't given her a thought in weeks.

"You're so picky all of a sudden." She shook her head. "Funny boy you are." She sighed. "Samael and Lilith are busy, so Jon and Serrena won't be helping me yet." The twi'lek tilted her head drastically to one side and then flicked her chin in a little indecisive twitch. She began idly counting on her fingertips with her thumb, blinking with each stroke. So many had been taken. So few were left to serve her. Make do, make do.

"I am fine," she said. "Everything would be fine if people would just listen to me, but no." Her voice began to trail off again. "They've all.... gotten lost... no one knows how to work together anymore. They can't build anything and I don't want them anymore." She smiled and laid one finger across her lips as if confiding some great secret in Savin. "But she and I can. We are, and they'll see." She nodded to herself absently, repeating in a whisper, "They'll see, they'll see. They'll like it better, they'll see."

Savin stood there for the entire time she went on, his grey eyes wide with...with -something- somewhere between horror and utter confusion.

".....Alema. Listen to me. Somethin' weird is going on. Don't -ask- me how I know. I just do. Look I need you to....to.." He stopped a moment to think. Why was it so d*mn hard to think all of the sudden? It was like being near her put him in some sort of mental fog that he had to reason through. What was he trying to remember? Why could he not stop thinking about her blue skin?? This was no -time- for that! Focus dammit! -Focus-!

"..to start making sense would be a frelling good start.." Muttered the Mando as he rubbed his head in frustration. "...just what are you going on about?" She was close..so close. He could smell her scent so plainly and....focus!

Her eyes scanned a long trail up the wall, across the ceiling, and down the other wall as Savin talked. "I make sense. I make all the sense that's to be made, because I know everything." Her gaze snapped back to his, and she smiled. The expression was smug, and the twi'lek's pointed teeth lent it a brutality it might not otherwise have had.

"You know something weird is going on.... because... you've just torn your way out of it. You had help.
" She frowned and squinted up at the ceiling again as if she were somehow scrying her answers from the white paint. "No matter. You have me now, and if I'm to have you I need to keep an eye on you, keep you beyond them."

Those familiar brown eyes rested on him again with an expression of profound sympathy and pity. "I was wrong. You're not empty. But you're close enough and you can keep them back. I may need that space later," she muttered thoughtfully with one thumbnail between her teeth. "Hm. Yes. Anyway." She nodded decisively, and the girlish uncertainty disappeared in a flash. That flickering and intermittent sobriety had returned. "I need someone authorized to deal with me. I think they'll listen to you. They think you care, even if we know otherwise. They won't doubt you. What do you say?"

Axl had wandered the ship looking for the perpetrator of his unconsciousness. Finally he could hear Savin and Alema talking. Stepping from the corridor Axl without warning aimed a punch at Savins face. The Mando had been way out of order and someone needed to sort him out.

By then having unable to shake the uneasyness she felt Sam then snuck back into her ship. And walking into its halls she then began to instead pick up a datapad. Turn her attention to getting the ship ready knowing all to well it might be needed later on.

Hiding behind the underlying reason that being in her mind. Keeping busy help stave off all the uneasyness she felt.

Kady was glad that she was not the only one who was confused by the woman’s speech. Apparently her name was Alema, and the man was Savin, and that was the extent of what she understood. During the entire conversation she had acted as a sort of silent guard for Alema, like the woman had requested. Now she ventured to voice a thought.

“Alema, can Savin touch?”

"PlaAUK!"

Savin had a mind to say something as he spotted Axl rounding the corner. But, he only had time enough to open his mouth to accept the offering of Axl's fist. The punch sent the warrior sprawling the the deck with a dull thud. Savin had to shake his head to clear the cobwebs as the Mando collected himself.

The blow was sudden and decisive, thrown by a skilled fighter. The impact was loud and vicious, fueled by a righteous anger. And the low growl that rumbled from the D'xun-born monsters that came up into a kneel before the assemblage was born of a primal rage from the -pair- of beasts from Onderon's jungle moon.

The was little preamble that proceeded the Mando'ad's sudden leap from the floor, clearing the distance of over two body lengths as he leveled a -huge- right hand that was thrown with the ferocity of both a fierce Mandolorian warrior and a feral beast....

Alema shook her head sadly as the two men launched themselves into a seemingly-baseless conflict. "I don't want him to join with me. Two are enough. He should be safe, though." She nodded decisively. "He can't get out of himself, so he won't come to me. Not unless I go to him, and that shouldn't be necessary."

She watched with Kady by her side, holding her fingertips to her lips thoughtfully. A memory jolted to the surface from the one who watched from behind the twi'lek's sharp gaze. She had seen this before, seen him fight this way. Brutal and savage and uncompromising. Later she had learned that he'd been fighting for her, desperately tearing through enemies who would have seen her captured, tortured, killed.

Not her. Alema. But wasn't it the same now? Or wouldn't it be soon? Now that they were one, wouldn't that mean that he'd protected them both? And didn't that mean she owed him aid? Now that she could do something, how could she just STAND there?!

Stop it, she snapped silently. This one is none of ours. Just you and me. That's all we need. After what he's done he deserves to be punished and even this won't be enough.

That didn't seem right. Savin was her friend. Though she didn't know him as well, Axl seemed like a decent man. He'd gone with Alema to free their Trandoshan friend, and he hadn't known Klassk. He'd been there and willing to help a complete stranger. What if Savin hurt him? In his condition it was possible.

More anxiety. What if Savin were hurt while she stood here and watched thoughtfully? It would be her fault for not stopping them, for not doing what she could to take care of her friends. For standing here and watching like they didn't matter.

Always others. You know, you don't HAVE to be serving someone at all times, sweetheart. You don't have a master anymore, not now that I'm here. But I don't want you upset. It'll affect us both and we won't be able to work. I'll stop this for you if it looks like they're going to hurt each other, all right?

It would have to be enough.

Chaos, fighting, talking, fighting, discussion, brawling, screaming, growling, talking, requests, assaults, for the most part of the action, Inson Veritas realized quite heartily that what was going on between all of these crazies was obviously none of his business, and he would have done well just to stay the @#%$ out of their way, go to his room, take a nap, and wait for everyone to calm the frak down. Of course, that would have been way too simple, and that could never happen around here, nope, nope, nope. The cabin boy merely remembered that he had some message to give Alema from the Jon guy he had just met today, who obviously was content with just keeping to himself and necking with his girlfriend, Lilith or something. Of course, if Inson had figured out anything in his life, it was that "when crew members go mynock-poodoo nuts, it's best not to ask too many questions", so he didn't. Now it was time to find Alema! Savin seemed busy, Inson didn't know why, but he would give the bloke time to recover from his weird treatment via Jon-like-mind-screw.

Finding Alema was actually easier than he had anticipated. Despite all of the rabblerousing that had gone on in the hall of the ship, she was actually close by and talking to Savin! Which was odd, considering that Savin had just been really screwed up by that Jon guy, at least by Inson's reckoning...Or something. Anywho, don't ask questions, yadda yadda, and next thing Inson knew, he was tapping lightly, inquisitively on Alema's shoulder.

"...Jon says he wants to stay with Lilith, oh, and he'll do anything, apparently! Surrender, run away, which ever, as long as he can stay with this Lilith chick. He wanted me to tell you, oh, and let Savin know that the easiest way to fix himself is to go to one of the Ysalamiri containment chambers and all that...But.."

Inson noted that Savin was busy being punched in the face; at this point, he just shrugged.

"....I haven't been able to tell Savin that yet."

And so despite her better judgement Sam finally mustered enough resolve to push the negative thoughts out of her mind. If but for a moment and began to stand up. Walking slowly towards the door she then began to walkt back into the hangar bay. Strolling aroung the ship in silence she came to realize and bear witness to a lot of crazy things. That seem to take over the ship out ouf nowhere.

Alema's gaze hardened as she listened to Inson relaying the message from Jon. "That's too bad. And I rather liked that one." She sighed and the anger drained from her face. "Well, there's nothing to be done about it. I suppose I will need to retrieve them later."

She glanced over again to Savin and Axl. "I know about the ysalamiri. I'm not surprised Samael knew, even though his host is such a recent addition to our crew."

Something was nagging at her. What could it be? It felt so familiar, like some part of her that had snapped off and drifted away was floating back to her. She cursed her host silently for the spice tolerance of her body. With the amount of spice she'd stolen from Serrena she ought to have been able to count on the benefits for at least another full hour. If she'd still had the drug in her system she might have had a better idea what was coming.

Soon it didn't matter. Two crewman, medical personnel by the look of their uniforms, turned a corner and calmly nodded a respectful greeting to those gathered in the corridor. One gave a short and amused glance to the altercation between Savin and Axl before turning their eyes to the twi'lek before them. "Gillian," one said. Alema bristled and took a step backward, pulling one black leather glove on over her hand. "You've had enough time to play."

"Kady..." Alema said warily, pulling on her other glove. "Kady, these men are dangerous."

"Why would you say something like that, Jill?" asked the other. He frowned and there was a wounded tone in his voice. "We've been separated for too long. It's time to come home."

There was a still moment between heartbeats when she stood transfixed. Disaster stood only a few feet away. She could control them, true, but she'd have to join with them. She didn't want them. Just her and Alema. No one else.

She gave her answer. "No."

In unison they clicked their tongues in disapproval. "Not your choice," they said together. "You're going to have to come back, Jill."

She turned on her heel and bolted away from them. She'd have to get past Savin and Axl, but once she did all four of her friends would be between the twi'lek and her enemies. For their part, the medical crewmen lunged forward after her, and only one reached her before coming up against Inson and Kady. The leather-clad twi'lek dropped her hands down to the floor to balance her as she snapped off a hard kick to the side of her pursuer's knee. He cried out in surprise and stumbled a bit. Her timing had been slightly off and the knee'd been a bit bent when she hit, so she hadn't managed to break it, but it slowed him down.

I can't fight in front of them yet! she thought. It'll be too jarring...

She continued backing away, and took a cue from her host. "Inson! Savin!" she cried. Hopefully he'd be willing to pull himself away from one fight to take up another.

~*Inson! Savin!*~

That was all she needed to do. Say his name with the intent of calling for aid was all she had to do to change the focus the D'xun-bred beasts on the possessed crewman that had a mind to attempted to...do -something-, to Alema. It didn't matter what it was, just that she didn't like it. She didn't -want- it. And that was more than enough to press the Mando'ad into service for her defense without a moment's hesitation.

I wide arcing punch would suddenly shift in mid-swing to become a way to reposition his body to shot off the floor toward Alema's assailant, leveling a massive shoulder block at the man's side with every intent to drive him into the adjacent wall where the -real- massacre would begin.

The possessed crewman had only a split second to react with a wide, poorly aimed, downward swing as the impact of the Mandolorian's massive frame took him completely off-guard. Poorly aimed as it was, it connected with a wet smack, as the Mando's face was still adorned with the blood from his recent, Axlfist-induced, nosebleed. This only made the D'xun duck down with the force of the blow before he shot his shoulder forward into the man's gut, seemingly unphased by the blow.

The maneuver had the added effect of slamming Savin's opponent back into the unforgiving wall a moment before the D'xun threw his shoulders up to deliver a sharp, uppercutting elbow that was immediately followed by a knee, sent deeply into the man's, now exposed, ribs. A picture perfect execution of the 'Planting the Wyshyr' technique saw the Mando's knee extend his foot to back to the deck with such force as to allow the warrior to drive his head into the bridge of the possessed crewman's nose, bouncing his head off the wall -again-, sending him slowly sliding down the smooth surface before crumpling into a pain-laden heap at the Mando's feet.

Savin would waste -no- time in spinning around to face any others that would try, or continue to try, their own luck against the D'xun-born monsters...

Savin's punch didn't come as a surprise, but the speed of the punch did. Axl's head tilted to avoid the impact, but even the glancing blow was enough to off balance Axl. Lucky enough for the wise assed pilot Savin continued his rage on yet another crew member. Axl regained his feet and moved back into the enraged Mando. Axl popped a jab at Savin's kidneys, firstly to injure him and secondly to regain his attention. Axl also swung a big left elbow toward the back of the beast head. " manhandling women isn't on tough guy and I'm gonna learn you some manners" Axl said in a very condescending manner.

"Kady, these men are dangerous."

That was all the girl needed to hear. Frowning she moved to place herself between Alema and the two men. As the one called Savin set himself against the first man, she wielded the hydrospanner like a club against the other. It was awkward as slow, and the man blocked it easily, but Kady was ready and shot her leg into the air to connect with his face. She wasn’t that flexible, and she knew that she felt something tear, but it didn’t really bother Kady as she readies the hydrospanner for another blow. The pain in her leg wouldn’t come until later.

Alema watched, openly stunned, as Axl once again brought the fight back to Savin. It didn't make any sense. He was defending the honor of the Revenge's womenfolk while... apparently... trying to keep Savin from coming to the aid... of a female crewmember.

"What?!"

This was too much. She had little to lose personally by having her plans delayed. Time was on her side after all, not theirs. Still... if she waited too long and the others had enough time to get a strong foothold in the crew... it would leave her with nothing to bargain with. Fortunately, she had other allies at her disposal.

She was privately deeply impressed by Kady's quick reaction. If only the rest of the crew waited on her words so readily, this problem might not have gone so far out of control. When Kady's kick connected with the man's face, there was a small split in her mind as the more combat-ready spirit inhabiting the twi'lek's body took the split second necessary to determine her course.

Foot will hit his upper lip. Head'll go back. He'll probably grab at his face if I'm right and she splits his lip.

The calculation took only a moment, and as soon as his back arched to flich away from the boot against his teeth, Alema had slipped around behind him and dealt him a hard blow with one knuckle between his ribs. The sudden sharp impact drove the air from his lungs and he bent to the right to pull away from the impact. She knew it was a bad idea to let Savin and Axl see her fight, since it was too harsh a contrast from the twi'lek they knew.

Unfortunately it couldn't be prevented. If Kady was going to be the most useful crew member aboard, Alema needed to ensure that she remained unharmed. It would be monstrously inconvenient if the girl died and left her without a sympathetic ear.

As the poor hapless medical officer stumbled forward, unable to control his body's reflexive movements, Alema dealt him one quick and vicious kick to the base of his spine. His balance thrown, he fell forward on his knees, still holding his fingers to his cleft upper lip.

"Axl!"
she called sternly into the fray. "Stop that nonsense this instant!"

The sharp blow to the Mando's kidneys was enough to make even the D'xun-born warrior call out in pain, his massive frame shuddered with the impact.

:::Ngh..gonna pee cherry drink-aid from that one tonight:::

The fleeting thought of the blood he would be seeing in the fresher later swam though the merc's mind as his body turned into the direction of the blow to throw a lightning-fast jab to...Axl's shoulder. The shoulder that was the driving force of his incoming elbow strike, that is. The jab was not meant to be damaging. It was meant to defuse the IF pilot's momentum, killing the attack at the source and, hopefully, stun him so that the stiff side-kick Savin was aiming to send at his face would find it's target.

~*Axl! Stop that nonsense this instant!*~

The warrior stopped cold. His kicking leg frozen in it's position, chambered and ready to lash out and seek to visit great harm upon Axl's face.

Her words and the tone they where delivered was enough to catch the Mando's attention with as much force as the terror she rained on that poor crewman that she and Kady took care of. He would have to ask her about that later. He never took her for being especially combat trained. What's more is that a fighters style is like their fingerprint. But, it not only defines how they look when they fight. It defines how they move. Alema was moving very differently just then...and still -is-.

What was going on....?

Axl's punch had connected with Savin's kidney and the shudder could be felt through Axl's fist as the power of the punch spread throughout Savins lower back.

The elbow was cut short however when the pained Mando'ad spun around and fired a short sharp jab into Axl's shoulder. Savin couldn't have asked for a better shot as Axl felt Savins knuckles connect with the nerve in his shoulder. His arm fell almost limply as the pain shot down his arm rendering it useless for the time being.

*Axl! Stop that nonsense this instant!*

Alema's voice cut through the battle between the two men and Axl halted. from where he was standing he could see Savin pivoting as if to launch a viscious kick at him. Axl waited to see what was about to happen, even if he could block with his good arm, he would be wide open for a second devestating hit that would almost certainly floor the heavy set pilot.

Axl looked at Savin in the eye " well your call?"

~*well your call?*~

The warrior stood there another moment, almost seeming to contemplate that. Pondering on the power Axl just gave him over the outcome of the next heartbeats.

"......SOAHH!" The force behind the side kick was incredible, causing an audible snap to be heard from the sudden movement of the material of his pants as it was executed.

Years of combat training and physical conditioning forged the mercenary into a weapon the lethality of which had few peers, to be certain. But, it was the harsh environment or Onderon's wild moon that made him the monster that he is today. The D'xun-bred Mando'ad was a nigh-prefect synthesis of sublime technique and an almost feral brutality.

It was that excellence of execution that stopped his foot, with mere inches to spare, in front of Axl's face without making any contact save for the small breeze the kick fanned the pilot with. It would be the brutality bred into the Mando, however, that had his foot aiming for Axl's eyes. If this blow had actually connected, there was a -very- good chance that, at best, Axl would have been facing blindness at the end of this confrontation.

"...Next time..I follow through."
Said he with a much deeper rumble in his voice than normal. With that, the Mando'ad pulled his leg back into a chambered position before stamping it on the deck with a reverberation sure to be felt by those nearby. "..Remember that, burc'ya.." It was obvious to those that knew him how angry Savin was at the point. His accent had become quite thick at that point.

The beast, clawing at the back of Savin's mind, was nealy begging him to lose control. To give in to the rage that was rolling off the D'xun's every movement. But, for now, the D'xun-born monsters stayed their hand and claws. But only just.....
