New Post There is no Alema. Only Zuul...
Miss Cobalt? Something deep within her chuckled. Honorifics already? And to think you thought this would be hard. Chastened, Alema had no reply.

"Savin..." She never thought she'd be the one to tell Savin this, but-- "You need to relax." Sharp and attentive eyes watched the Mandalorian approach, and only a small corner of her mind was left to question the oddity of it all. A wicked grin carved its way across features that were seldom anything but soft, only a little guarded now and again. "No one here cares what that Saede thinks."

Alema stretched one arm out to guide her chosen prey to a position at her side. "It's just you and me. Now why don't you tell me..." Her fingers grazed his shoulder and the contact between his bare skin and hers sent sparks through her body. She'd have him, and it wouldn't be long now. There was something vicious in his eyes that she wanted, the promise that once and for all they would have done with caution and petty games.

All pretense of conversation was forgotten. She didn't care what he had to say. Her eyes flickered over the shadows on his skin, the curves of muscle... power... large hands that could crush or caress, entice or destroy...

Mine.

The trained courtesan watched his body language, trying to figure out what she was really dealing with here, what he needed to push him over the edge. Yet, when he was next to her, so vicious and subservient all at once, she had to claim what was hers. It was too intriguing, too intoxicating, and too irresistible to ignore.

The first lines of attack had been drawn. She'd found him and called him and he'd answered. His attention was on her, and now it was time for Alema to do something about it. Let the real assault begin, then... she thought, taking a deep and perverse pleasure in hunting the great mercenary by her side. The warrior was on her territory now, and there were no rules here but her own.

Reaching out again, she stroked his cheek with the backs of her fingers, but the contact was only meant to distract his gaze. She slipped her other arm over his shoulder and raised herself from the floor, pushing the Mandalorian back onto his haunches as she advanced. "Don't play the timid little boy with me now," she whispered as her lips found his, tentatively at first and then with greater urgency, with a hunger long denied.

But it wasn't enough. It wasn't what she'd come for. He was certainly strong enough to overpower her, but would he? Trailing her fingertips around over his shoulders and across the hard muscle of his chest, Alema rested her hands on the Mandalorian's biceps, pressing him back onto the floor.

The part of Alema that paid attention to things like open bedroom doors was distracted by a sudden attack of greedy desire, and she would not be deterred. A powerful man beneath her hands, his waist between her thighs, his mouth locked to hers... nothing else mattered. She could feel the heat of her desert-bred skin where her hands had been on Savin's body, and soon she would claim it all for herself, every inch of it.

Axl just shrugged at Saede, " Okay, if you say so but if there is a problem I'm on your side." Axl turned and walked away convinced it was darker and deeper than that. Saede acted just like his mother when his father had just had an episode. A quiet word to Savin wouldn't go astray, but first he had to check on Nate who was still yelling at someone. Axl quickly rounded the Defender to find Nate with his Charric drawn and pleading with some imaginary accuser. Moving cautiously and prepared to make a grab for the weapon if Nate tried anything stupid like shooting him, Axl made the half Chiss aware of his prescence. "Nate, you okay buddy?"

By then it seem as if awaken from a dream...a very bad one her vision shifted and she saw herself standing there all alone. Caught up in a snapshot from her past as a child. She slightly felt a cold chill hit her spine as by then the unmistaken smell and sight of that dark alley long ago came to view. Hidding behind a durasteel bin trembling and pulling her leg close to her chest. And try to make herself as small possible her sense was assaulted yet again by the all to famillar stench of decay and death.

As from the distance she sees a lone form and a dark voice.

"Your fathers dead...and you did what? Ahh, let me remind you little ....nothing ...absolutely nothing...and what? To top it off you left him...left him alone to die."

Then came the hideous laugh as she then drop to her knee and Sam lifted her hand to her ears. As she whispered....

"...no...i didn't....he told be to ...i beleive him..."

"No one's going to keep you Captain," Saede responded, though the worry on her face was clear. "We'll do our best to find it. If it exists, we'll get it."

Hazel eyes regarded him queerly though. She didn't believe this whole immortality crap. It was a load of bull... why didn't the Captain see it?

She tried again to step back, but was unable to. Normally his grip was loose, but it was like an iron claw.

Marcus released her suddenly. The expression he wore was that of a startled bantha. He seemed to sweat a little more.

"Good, good," He said, almost feverishly, "Prepare the landing vessels and get the crew on them. I have some last minute matters to attend to."

Now that was strange. The captain was even speaking clearly.

~*Don't play the timid little boy with me now*~

It was odd that she would even need to ask such of the D'xun-born Mando'ad at -all-, let alone, in -this- situation. But, nonetheless, comply he did as he found himself on his back and his lips under a sensuous assault from the professional.

:::Wh..what?::: The Mando's eyes blinked in confusion for a moment. How did he get here? What was...was this Alema!?

You're dreaming...

:::I am?:::

Do you think that she would allow this otherwise? You know she wouldn't. She doesn't want you...

:::But:::

It's only a dream...let go. You -know- you want this...want -her- like this...

"Yeesss..." Purred the large man as he returned the depth of her embrace, tit for tat. His comparatively massive form writhed under his blue Mistress with a barely contained anticipation, her touch sending arcs of lightning through his taut body.

The Mando'ad's strong hands roamed her lithe frame, trailing up her sides and back down to glide across her hips and beyond. One of which lingered to give the soft, firm flesh he found there an appreciative squeeze as his other hand found purchase on the floor, pushing the warrior's body up so he could roll the cerulean seductress onto -her- back.

Once there, the hunter's grey gaze leveled down into her brown pools with an intensity that seemed capable of burning a hole through duracrete. Warm, heated breath washed down over the Rutian Twi'lek's face as he loomed over her, lowering himself down to capture her lips with a heated passion that threatened to set the room ablaze, pressing his chiseled body into the curvaceous form under him.

:::This is such a nice dream..I hope I don't get woken up again...:::

Fingertips that have snuffed the life out of countless sentients glided down T'chin with a featherlight touch as he blazed a trail of heated kisses down her neck, tracing her pulse with his tounge. Her strong heartbeat resonated under his lips, pounding out a steady, intoxicating rhythm that he could not ignore any longer. She was ready. He could -smell- it. She was ready to mate.

The D'xun-born Mando's powerful form tensed over her. He was first, he could tell. She held no other males scent. He had no more time to waste, he had to do it quickly before any other males came to take her away. His lips curled back to offer her smooth neck a pair of light nips as a rumbling growl was granted genesis deep in the Mando'ad's's large chest.

Something changed.

NO, da*m it!! Not now, you stupid anima-

With a rush of adrenaline, the beast's maw clamped down on the nape his mate's neck, offering unto her blue skin a sharp bite not unlike the one he gave to the ship's first mate..with much the same reasoning behind it.

:::Mmmh, Kittan'ika. Wait. This..this is -real-. I'm awa-..:::

The Mando's eyes flew open. The passionate heat that had built up in him gave way to the icy cold of fearful realization as he raised his head to gaze into a pair of soft, -brown- eyes as opposed to the crimson orbs that he hoped to find. At least then, this situation would have made sense.

"NOO!!" The warrior nearly leapt off the woman to scramble up to all fours, gazing at the comms officer with wide eyes. What in the frell was -happening- to him? Why did he keep waking up attacking these women??

"Oh..Oh shab..Alema, are you...? I'm so sorry...oh, shab.."

The Mando held his head in his hands as he scooted toward the door. He was certain he was going stark raving mad and, at this point, he didn't want anyone -else- he was close to to get hurt by his particular flavor of crazy....

"Are you crazy, fuzzball? That'll get our gear spaced..nevermind us!" Serrena shouted, dspite the fact that Rok was less than a few feet away from her. Blinking, her crimson orbs pulsed with a strange light for several moments before fading....into a bright emeral green.

Something felt off...she'd never spoken to Rok that way before...he was...he was her big brother. The one person besides Nathaniel she could cling to if something went wrong...the safe harbor in the storm that had been her life as of late.

But it was as if Serrena wasn't in control of her own body anymore. Like she was just a passenger with someone else at the helm.

Perh? What the frak? Is this your doing?

For a change, my little dove...no...I have nothing to do with this...this is disconcerting.

YOU think its disconcerting? Its my @#%$ body!

Not anymore...

The last voice, a deep roar in her mind, startled her and Perh both, and not precisely in a pleasant manner. Horrified at the sudden change and the new awareness flooding what remained of her senses, what was left of Serrena in her own mind clung to Perh's voice as the lone thread of sanity.

The young woman felt her body twist into an attack stance, her sais in her hands even though she fought the move every step of the way. A deep, sadistic thread of laughter emerged from her throat - so obviously not a sound the dancer had ever produced - even as her spirit-controlled body lashed out at Rok.

Alema sat up slowly, rage building behind eyes that had been so welcoming only moments earlier. She could have screamed.

You cowards! Both of you! You people are ridiculous. Even outside intervention can't get you together. For f@#$'s sake!

"You're as bad as she is!" Alema hissed, pulling herself to her feet. This had been going so well. Neither of them had known a man's touch in so long, she'd thought she could make them both happy, get them both what they wanted. Then they wouldn't have to fight. They could just be one person and have everything they could possibly desire.

But no. No, they had to ruin everything!

Her words were shredded by clenched teeth as she took long strides after Savin. He wasn't getting away from her. He wasn't going to ruin everything. She didn't care if he submissive or vicious or fearfully retreating. He had no right to an opinion at all, because this wasn't about him. She just wanted to help. Couldn't they see that? Why did they all have to stop her?

They'll thank her later.

It's about getting what's mine. Yours. Ours. We'll have him.

There was no more voice of dissent. There was no more argument. The Twi'lek overtook the Mandalorian as he was attempting to distance himself. She pointed one finger directly in his face. "You listen to me. How long have you wanted this?! Watching, waiting, smiling to yourself, you think she didn't notice?" Her voice was rising to a shriek of rage, and with effort she brought it back down again. "You're all amazing. There's nothing anyone can do for you, because this idiocy will find a way to destroy everything!"

She made a negative slashing motion with one hand. "You're as bad as she is. Scared of everything that's good for you. F@#$ the lot of you." With a growl of disgust she shoved past him to head down the hall. She needed to regroup. This moment had been lost, this battle she was so certain she'd already won. The pain of defeat, the disappointment and isolation of passion denied... it was too much to tolerate.

She shook her head, and found herself involuntarily curling the tips of her lekku in frustration. Every part of her wanted to curl into a fist and batter her way to her goals. Why were they fighting her?! She could already feel the careful balance she'd built beginning to fall apart, tear at the seams. The minds were separating again. She needed to get a grip. If she didn't, she'd lose control and everything would fall apart.

Halfway down the hall, she turned back to him accusingly. "Fine. You get your way for now. Everyone is alone, and everyone is going to stay that way. I hope you're happy." With another growl of frustration, she turned away again to get away from the unfathomable and incredible stupidity of these people. "I'll be in my bunk."

Out of breath from running and from panic, Devorah collapsed into a corner of the unfamiliar quarters she found herself in. They were a mess, splattered with holoposters and piles of laundry, and she didn't immediately recognize the belongings. It didn't matter though...nothing mattered anymore.

He was back. And he'd come to claim her again.

Gods...she wept bitterly, legs drawn up against her chest, curled in on herself as she rocked back and forth. For three years now she'd thought him dead, poisoned by her own hand the night she'd run away. Three years of thinking that the man that had either raped her or handed her out to be used nearly every day for five years was gone.

Devorah bit her lip bloody to silence herself as she whipped her head up, gazing around wide-eyed. She found herself not aboard the Revenge, but back on Naboo. With her owner. Chained to her usual corner of the house, the plush little bedroom had become her home the years she'd been there.

It was odd, she thought, that looking down at herself she was in the shorts and t-shirt she'd been wearing earlier while working on her TIE. Her head began to ache as she tried puzzling out the strangeness of it. There was even a hydrospanner in her hand...

Standing up, she found the device on her ankle wasn't a chain - but the monitoring device she'd been forced to wear when she was left alone. This...this meant she at least had the freedom of the house. Tentatively, she opened the door and stepped into the hall, barely noticing as the walls -shifted- between the grey durasteel of the Revenge and the warm sandstone of her owner's villa.

Devorah wandered the halls for what seemed like an eternity, until she came to a door that refused to open at her touch. Glancing around herself, she found the coast clear and raised the hydrospanner to smash the lock apart. The young woman hurried through the door and closed it behind her - and promptly found herself back in the hanger bay with the TIE fighters.

Nathaniel truly thought he had the upper hand. The all-too-real-spectre of his father was near beaten to submission, his face pummelled with Nathaniel's fists until his knuckles were raw and bloodied. Of course, all he was really doing was pounding his fists into the unforgiving durasteel of the hangar bay deck, near breaking his hands. The image of his father had vanished. Nate gaped through tear-streaked eyes, falling back on his backside as he stared at his ruined hands.

"Na'thaniel'oruodo... you've always been so pathetic... succumbing to physical violence, to attacking... you'll never be a suitable Chiss..."

He moaned. The disembodied voice of his father was even worse because now he had no one to lash out at, real or imagined. A flicker of movement caught Nathaniel's eyes and he was in the process of reaching for a makeshift weapon or object to hurl, thinking that his father had resurfaced for another bout. Hesitation likely saved Devorah's life.

"Ah, Na'thaniel'oruodo... there she is... the one who is living proof you're a failure as a man... She'd sleep with anything... but not you... never you..."

Nate blinked and wiped at his tears, not wanting Devorah to see him like this. That he was bleeding and bruised from attacking... the decking?... was crazy enough.

"Not good around here," was all he managed to say, feeling he needed to warn Dev that she might not be safe in here. With him.

By then it seem after having what it seem a lifetime of silence. Resurface and haunter seem yet again as from somewhere. She somehow only barely come to understand a com message. To inform all the crew that they soon was gonna be reverting back to normal space.

But how long before? She could not recall as she shook her head and clear her mind . Of what she think to be just nothing and began to walk on. Seem walking aimlessly. She comes across a broken door panel and seem was just about to leave it be. When something about this caught her attention and she hears the voice.

"Come on old man...we got no time...so where is it..."

To which seem something about it felt so famillar. She sum up her courage and push the door open. Draw by some unknown hand or what not she enters.

“A little push?” Kady repeated, hiding a smile behind her hand. “Is that what really keeps this place working? That’s not very reassuring, not at all.” She stepped through the rusty portal, curiously looking it over. “Have you ever considered the idea that maybe letting it get to the point of rusting might be a bad thing? Just a thought.”

Kady started off down the corridor, observing the signs of neglect that were apparent all around her. “I see what you mean by it ‘barely holding together’. You seem to know what you’re doing,” She mused almost to herself, wondering why the ship was in such bad repair, if there were competent workers around. “Is the ship just really that bad, or are there simply not enough people here to fix it?”

"Well my excuse is that it was like this when I got here," Curt chuckled resignedly in response to Kady's remarks, "although thanks for the compliment. I'm still working out what needs doing the most..." As the Firrerreo trailed off he absent mindedly ran his one of hands through his short silver/blue hair, looking about at the delapidated mess that surrounded them with a frown.
"This ship's old, really old, that's what's holding her together. These days when they build a ship they work out every stress on every bean and joist down to the tiniest force, that way they can use the minimum of materials and build 'em cheap. This old girl's from a time when they didn't do all that, they just estimated and clapped on more than enough just to be sure. That's why old ships seem to run forever if they're looked after properly. No, when I'm through with the 'Revenge' she'll be even more feared than she already is, she's got years in her yet."

The Firrerreo seemed to drift off as he spoke, almost looking through the bulkheads as he gazed about at the pipes and loose wiring around them, then as he finished he gave one of the walls a fond yet firm pat and was his usual bubbly self once more. "Thing is there's only three of us mechanics and I'll want to rework everything the others do anyway, that's just how I am. Could take a couple of years at that rate... Anyway, you wanted to see the reactor!"
Bounding off down the maintenance tunnel, Curt grabbed Kady by the hand, leading the girl through another door and out onto a railed gangway. What would have appeared from the tunnel to simply be a small bridge above another room was actually a walkway around a section of the inside of a vast hollow sphere containing the ship's 'Hypermatter Annihilation Reactor'. It was a spectacular view, with the reactor suspended from the center of the sphere and electricity cross crossing all across its surface at random intervals. The sheer enormity of the thing was awe inspiring.

"That," Curt announced with a broad grin, pointing out at the reactor with one hand and holding onto the rail with the other, "is the hypermatter annihilation reactor. It produces just over three and a half trillion trillion watts of power every second! That Kady, is what 'runs this thing'." The mechanics smile was contagious as they stood upon the brink gazing out at the machine, and his voice echoed around the great sphere, only just audible above the roaring of the reactor.

By then it seem the presence seem to fade as she push and push at the door. And yet seem not been able to make it move nor budge out of place which. Only lead to annoy her to which in frustration she then rams her fist at the door. Which only lead for it to eventually open and send a shockwave of pain. Thru her hand as the impact of her hand upon the durasteel plate of the door connected. Sending her sligthly Pulling back and quickly cradles her hand close to her chest as she unwittingly. Let out a string of bar room curses that in a way seem to amaze or shock her. For if anything, although having grown up and given the background she had.

Being this tick off and cursing was not like her at all. That it a moments notice she began to feel a slight pang of fear. That of which she never felt ….not since…since her fathers passing. To which the finer details and memories were some what traumatic for her. In a sense that none of it was truly about her but more of. What? Could not remember….for certain.

In a certain point of view it seem her survival instinct and training lead her. To block and burry deep within these memories and all. That seem in response to what unknown force or fate awaited them still. Had come to affect her deeply and seem shake the foundation of these seems. Forgotten and lost past…..that in denial of just what happened. She pulls back and began to make her way opposite of where she was. Back it seems to one of the hangar bay and search for Shadows Dawn. Her ship and sanctuary from everything….the only place she felt safe.

Rok had long since been supressed....and with Serrena lunging at him there was no shock or surprise...just his massive arms....one coming across to knock away her sais and the other coming straight forward in a balled up fist.

"Puny creatures should learn to obey those that can eat them..." Rok grunted as he moved. He'd only have to knock her out to get to the release hatch.

THIS FOOL IS GOING TO GET ME KILLED!!! Serrena screeched in her mind, struggling to regain control of her body and failing miserably.

PERH! HELP ME WITH THIS!

Little dove...you realize I'm not really here, right?

You're not? Oh..then I've been talking to myself this entire time. Wonderful. Remind me to spit on your grave when next I'm on Csilla. She sighed, retreating to a corner of her own mind and sitting down on a plush divan. Which, was really a feat within itself. Who else would have such a plushly appointed chamber entirely in her mind?

She watched, detached, as the spirit in control of her made a @#%$ fool move she'd never have used fighting someone like Rok. As a result, her sais clattered to the decking and skittered across the floor. The blow aimed at her chin only barely missed as her body at least remembered how to duck without her in control. The spirit spun her body around in an effort to come up behind Rok and leap onto his back.

"YOU WILL NOT OPEN THAT PANEL!!! I SAID NO! BAD WOOKIEE, NO TREATS!" growled the voice that was hers and not hers all at once. The dancer clapped an ephemeral hand to her forehead and rolled her eyes from the little corner of her mind, sighing at the absurdity of it.

The hydrospanner fell to the floor, fear gripping her as the voice wavered through the air and echoed through her ears. Devorah blinked, her vision blurry as she tried to make out who was in front of hear, splayed across the decking. Shuddering, she slowly lowered herself to the floor her eyes staring oddly at Nathaniel as she fumbled for her hydrospanner.

Clutching it to her chest, she approached him cautiously and sat down just a few feet away. "N-not v-very g-good out th-there either..." she whispered faintly.

Nathaniel drew his knees up to chin, wrapping his arms around his legs. He looked at Devorah, his expression a mix of wariness and concern. He no longer heard his father's mocking, disapproving Cheunh tones, so that was a definite step up at least.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

Nate's hands were starting to swell thanks to his efforts at beating his father... or rather, the durasteel deck plating. He barely felt it though.

Devorah nodded, her brash, wicked personality in full retreat, instead, to anyone who knew her before, they'd see the girl she was on Naboo. Terrified of displeasing her owner and fearful of everyone and everything in his house. There was no telling when something would be picked up and used to beat her, or which way her supple body would be violated day to day.

She rubbed at her eyes, setting the hydrospanner down close beside her. The young woman blinked and gazed at him carefully, finally noticing his bloody and ruined hands. Absently tugging on the monitoring device only she could see and feel, she reached for a relatively clean cloth and scooted a little closer.

"Your hands...you ok?" Devorah said softly reaching out with the cloth to wipe some of the blood away.

Nate shrugged, his body rigid with tension as Devorah tried to clean his swollen hands. "No... not really... pretty messed up..."

Devorah - by circumstance - was the "sort" of girl his father had used to torment him in his teen years on Csilla. With his admonitions so fresh in Nathaniel's mind, it was hard for him not to act out or to go into a panic in her presence. He drew on the Chiss values of stoicism that his father had tried to beat into him over the years now so that he wouldn't make the day any worse than it had already been for them both.

"Something's wrong... really wrong, Dev," he said without looking at her. "Don't know what to do."

When Devorah backed away from Nate, he grit his teeth, trying to fight against the wave of depression that threatened to swallow him whole. He's right... ktah, but he's right! I am a freak... a monster... I can't even sit here with Devorah and be normal!

"Won't... I won't hurt you..." he muttered, eyes turned away from her. "He's right that I'm worthless, but I never hurt them... I couldn't do things the way he wanted me to... not to them..."

"Devvie...you had direct orders not to speak to anyone...I'm going to have to discipline you again. And you know how much that hurts me."

Devorah paled considerably, staring right through Nathaniel as the greenish specter of Noat Urr approached. Tall, dark, and the furthest thing from handsome any species could be, his features were set in a terribly grim smile. A metal tipped flail dangled in his right hand, while stiff and blood-soaked leather straps hung in the the other.

"B-but I...w-was...it's n-nothing...its n-nothing...I...I won't d-d-do it again...please d-d-don't...p-please..." she cried, scrambling back until she found the nearby storage cabinet. The specter, however was implacable, binding her wrists tightly to her ankles as she clutched her knees to her chest, humming a tender tune all the while. The straps were tightened until she cried, the leather biting into her flesh and breaking it open.

Devorah squeezed her eyes closed, and rested her forehead against her knees, trying to catch her breath from the fear the paralyzed her. A savage kick to her ribs sent her sprawling out on the floor, and skidding into the center of the hanger. The back of her t-shirt caught on a loose piece of plating, tearing it jaggedly up her back.

Daring to open one eye, the young woman quickly closed it again and whimpered as Noat stood over her. The flail scored down her back, ripping open her skin along the lines of her scar as she bit down on her lip roughly so she wouldn't scream. She lost count of how many times the flail scored across her skin, but when it stopped suddenly, her eyes flew open.

That was never good.

Shuddering, she sat up, peering around carefully. Noat, the flail, and even the bindings on her wrists and ankles were gone. But the blood and the wounds remained, and began to hurt. Devorah coughed as she tried to catch her breath, shaking too much to be able to speak.
