“Your order has been reckless,” he smirked. There could be no victory salvaged by the Jedi today.

“United, you’re weak, and divided you’re pathetic,” he nearly laughed, cold. “Fighting me from the planet can’t save those dead, and those facing worse than that.”

“It was foolish to think that mounting a full assault on Korriban could lead to anything but defeat and humiliation. Worse yet, a half-strength attack?” Now he did laugh, half amused and half malicious.

“Divided forces trying to unhinge two planets under the Sith. It’s folly, Jedi, as it is folly for you to think that anything you do here will make a difference.”

“… Just try to kill me. But whether you do or not, you’ve lost.”

The wind howled across the open plain, like the breath of a giant artificial creature. Buildings towered around them, gazing down at them with hunger in their eyes. The city, now controlled by the Sith, was angry and hungry. Whether it would take the Jedi intruder or the Sith destroyer, Kyp couldn't guess, but it was clear that the city was against them both in this. That was the feeling that came to him through the Force.

Kyp took two steps forwards, and his scar burnt instantly. Pausing, he decided to speak loudly instead. The Sith Lady was watching him, and Kyp knew that he would have to talk before she attacked him. "Greetings, my Lady. I am Jedi Knight Kyp Durron."

The Sith Lord observed C’orringath arrest the Jedi Knights for crimes against the peace. Apparatus just stared into the eyes of the Jedi Master and observed his inner soul. The Dark Side was oozing into the Jedi and his soul would, with no doubt, soon be corrupted by the Dark Side’s power. And so, the Sith Lord would give this rogue Jedi Master an offer that he would find almost irresistible.

“The Sith Order shall thank you for your efforts. Coruscant will thank you for your efforts. To bring absolute peace to the Galaxy, it must be under one-utopian rule. This war between the Jedi and the Sith is simply tearing the Galaxy in half. You must know that one of our agendas is to unite the Galaxy under one banner, so that true peace will fill the Galaxy. C’orringath, you can help bring order to the Galaxy and stop the chaos!”

Apparatus then lifted his right, artificial hand as a gesture of being an ally.

“Do not betray your own morals, C’orringath!”

“I guess he could be secretly checking up on me. My master is already quite impressed with me and he hasn’t even taught be anything yet. To me, it’s nothing you know. As a Hinata I better know how to protect myself. I’ll let you take me when I’m a knight. I’m not sure my master would be pleased with me if I talked to sith too much.”

She smiled at her cousin and than turned to Metran. She could understand why he wasn’t friendly with the sith. He obviously was just standing there to protect her which was something she didn’t need.

“So where are we headed anyway?”

Chloe / Talon

Metran couldn't help but smile a little as Chloe looked at him. "Well, so far we're headed for Naboo - though I don't know now. There's a Sith on board, and Naboo has seen more than its share of Sith in the last several months."

He turned to Talon. "Corellia's on the way - and there's plenty of routes you can take from there. You understand, I hope: it's nothing personal, but I think everybody'd be a lot more comfortable if we found some nice planet between here and there to drop you off."

... or abandon ship.
That option never was far from the Jedi knight's mind. He was talented, but not so good that he wouldn't take a clean getaway in preference to a messy fight.

Naboo

After launching his cloak raider Niko spent the trip in deep meditation. He tried and tried to reach the Sith spirit that was hitchhiking in his body. He hoped to turn the Sith help him become one with the Force and free himself from the Darkside influence that the Sith spirit brought with it. The more he tried the deeper the spirit dug into his soul to hide.

The peace of Hyperspace was helping Niko relax and for now the voice of the spirit seemed to have silenced itself. However Niko was finding that his emotions were harder to keep in their place, stray pieces of anger and grief seeped into his consciousness, even during meditation. Niko knew the danger of such things that these emotions could lead to the Darkside if he didn’t work to keep them under better control.

“Sir we are about to enter normal space near Naboo orbit” came the voice of the Captain over Niko’s com link.

“Thank you Captain, as soon as we clear Hyperspace re-engage the cloak and land in the Temple landing pad. As soon as me and my fellow Jedi disembark join the orbital defense efforts.”

As Niko stood he could feel the shift into normal space and the change in the ship’s hull as it entered the atmosphere. The ship had easily passed the Sith Forces and was making its way to drop off the Jedi. Making his way to disembark Niko called along several Jedi Soldiers that had returned with him to defend the city. “When we disembark consentrate on keeping order, the Sith will most likely try to create chaos and panic and try to take advantage. The people are used to Sith attacks by now. We have sufficient Forces to keep the Sith at bay, but we need to keep organized to minimize the impact the Sith are capable of making on the City.”

((I'm really sorry for the delay. :())

The blaster bolts vanished the moment they caught the blade, as if they were mere sparks. Korran turned partially then and shot a Force-push her way, never taking his eyes away from Jabez. The push was a strong one, and even though Nesrin jumped aside to escape the fury of it, she wasn't nearly fast enough.

She was going to land painfully on her side, but softened her fall by quickly gathering ripples of the Force around her as a sort of cushion she could land on. It was mostly successful, yet Nesrin still winced as she rolled off the ground into a fighting stance. She needed to be more careful.

The young Knight was still locked in combat with Korran, the Sith's gaze focusing on him and away from Nesrin. Knowing there was no time to lose, she lunged at him in a burst of speed. Her blade slashed down diagonally from Korran's shoulder, a slash designed to slice him in half if successful.

”Hang in there, Jabez. You're doing well.

"I haven't lost. I disagreed with the attacks in the first place. It was foolish and reckless as you have said."

Indeed, that was the main reason that he had chosen to remain behind on Naboo. He had known from the very beginning that they could not take Coruscant and especially not Korriban. Sith numbers were overwhelmingly large these days and they tended to respond quickly to attacks. He had known it was folly to attack either of the two Sith controlled worlds and he'd refused to be a part of it. Now, at least, he knew he'd made the right choice.

"But I can win here. We can push you off of Naboo again, just like we always do. You Sith have made reckless attacks of your own against this planet. You even had multiple allies assist you and you still lost."

He stood there, blades at the ready as he watched Monnik carefully. Still his attunement to the Force was high and he was prepared for the Sith to try and attack him. He knew it would either come down to them fighting once again or Monnik would leave the planet. Though he suspected it would be the latter, he was always prepared just in case things went wrong.

"So what's it going to be Monnik?"

“As we speak your enemies close in around you,” he said quietly, and disengaged his sabre, the glowing blade retreating into the hilt to rest. He strode forward again, hands held out from his body, palms up.

“The moment we want Naboo,” he hushed, low and harsh. “It will be ours.”

“As it remains, Jedi, the people of this planet are under the threat of attack for as long as your kind infests their midst. You’re a burden on these people. You’re not defending them, you’re endangering them.”

“Are the people here not afraid?” he questioned offensively. “Do they not see the cleansing flame mounting? Mmm, they see it. The Fire of Hate is a constant threat. An inescapable, unstoppable march of all-consuming wrath that will see the galaxy restored at any cost. You’re standing in the war-path, Jedi.”

"We always stand in the war path. Such is necessary for our kind as long as your kind continues to survive."

As Monnik disengaged his saber and stepped forward, Kamon pointed a blade directly at the mans throat. Holding his ground, he would force the Sith to either halt his movements or be impaled by a lightsaber blade. If Monnik wished to talk, then talk they would, but if he so much as moved an inch a way that might signify an attack, Kamon would slice him open from head to toe.

"You speak as if you intend to make me afraid, Monnik. I don't fear death as you Sith tend to do. I don't fear anything. The people of this world respect us and are glad that we are here to protect them."

Disengaging his second saber, he kept it in his hand and ready, the other pointed at Monnik still. It was a sign that he was willing to talk, but that he wasn't going to take any chances in the situation. As much as he didn't fear death, he wasn't quite ready to die because if he did, the people of this planet would have a Sith Master running all over them. Kamon refused to allow that.

"I agree that it was foolish for us to attack your worlds. I disagreed with the attack before it started. Needless to say, I plan to make sure it doesn't happen again."

Blood dripped down his face, from the wound that had been left from the spear. Jabez lightly touched it, the feel of the warm blood a reminder. It was one, indeed, a good reminder that he needed to make sure to keep ready. Not only that, but that he should work on his lightsaber combat. Then there was the help from the other Jedi. Three blaster bolts, none of which had any effect.

All they did was cause the Sith to have another target, which he did. That might help, if they could only work together. Of course, without talking it would be difficult. And communication any other way might be picked up by the Sith. So they would just have to hope for the best, prepare for the worst. That was when it hit him. The young lad had been afraid, inside he feared losing his life. It was a natural thing, but something he shouldn't so.

There is no death, there is the force. A relaxing calm slid over him, the Sith focusing away from him for moments to attack Nesrin. But the focus wouldn't be gone for long, and soon Korran was attacking again. But the attack was with the ax, which wasn't going to be anything complex. After all, there weren't a large number of attacks that could be done with an ax.

Then there was Nesrin, who seemed intent on taking advantage of the spilit attention. It would make things a lot more simple. The ax came at his head, and Jabez slammed into it hard enough with his lightsaber to divert it from striking him. Not only that, but he took a few steps towards Korran, then one hand reached out. With any luck, it would hold the Sith there as Nesrin attacked. This fight had to be finished soon, Jabez could not go on like this forever. Even the exuberiance of youth had its limits.

As his ship pushed through hyperspace, a warning began to blare across Tyen's screens: the hyperdrive was overloaded and was going to break down. It really wasn't a suprise, since the Y-wing that the ship's structure was built around was never designed to carry that much weight. The ship he was flying was supposed to get him into Coruscant - retreating wasn't part of the original plan.

Checking the charts, he found Corellia right on the way. Dropping out of hyperspace within the system, he jettisoned the faux hull and limped down to the enclave. A hot meal and secure bed waited for him, and repairs could be made later. He was sore, hungry, and tired - more than anything he needed sleep.

Sky

The pressure on the padawan's heart caused her to lose much bloodflow to the brain. The lack of oxygen to the vital organ caused the young girl to pass out. She hung limp in his grasp. Suspended in mid-air, only by his will. The beeping from his datapad caught his attention. With a wave of his hand, she was tossed into the belly of the ship. Fumbling through his pocket, he found the datalink. With a frown, he answered the call.

"What is it, Captain?"

"Good news, my lord. We have captured one of the Jedi. Our orders?" Avicus couldn't help but smirk. "Good news indeed. Take the Jedi to Governess Maurow. She will use him as a vessel for her wrath and vengeance. The Jedi will think twice about bringing war to our worlds after today." He shut off the datapad, putting it back in his pocket.

With a light hop, he leaped over the body of Bryan. His footsteps were quick, light, making their way to Sophia. Yellow eyes looked down at her, and he sighed. It wasn't anger he felt, it certainly wasn't sadness. It was pity. Picking the girl up, he carried her to the nearest soft place to lay her out. After setting her down, he brushed the stray hair from her face. So young, so foolish. Enslaved to the Jedi and their self-righteous ways.

Enslaved to their false philosophies.

Placing a soft kiss on her forehead, he sighed. Forgive me, child. You should've never been a part of this war. The Force saw better for you... With that, he stood up and walked to the cockpit. Activating the autopilot, he began punching in the appropriate coordinates. Naboo was under siege, he could feel it on the winds of the force. Where would be a good place to take the child where she would be safe?

Yinchorr...

Finding the location of the Jedi Temple located on the desert planet, he activated the take-off to begin in thirty seconds. Making short time, the black tendrils of the force pulled Bryan onto the ship, his body laying on the floor. As Avicus ripped off of his shirt, the blood from the boy's body began floating mid-air, flying towards the Sith Master. As the sleeveless, black piece of cloth was ripped from his form, he draped it over Bryan's face. The Jedi's blood wrapped around him in his blood cloak. It was then that he felt the pulls of Chaos around him.

Sky...

She was in Chaos. Yet, she was still alive. A frown danced on his face. He knew where she was, but did he know how to get there? "You know the way... The blood of the righteous is needed..." Yellow eyes fell on the blood cloak as it wrapped around him. It was just what he needed.

As the ramp began to pick up, Avicus walked off of the ship. He turned around, watching the ship fly off as he smirked to himself. Why did he do such a thing? Why did he show such mercy? Perhaps it was strictly pity. However, he believed it was because he had shown his monstrous side earlier. It was time to show his princely side as well.

Walking up to Rach, the blood parted, allowing his hand to come out. He ran the hand through her hair, pulling her in for a short kiss. Pulling back, he sighed. "Thank you for everything, mistress. However, I fear this is where we must part, for now. I can't take you where I'm going." He bowed before her, kissing her hand. With that, he took to the skies, flying towards his summer home.

There was much work to be done.

The minutes seemed an eternity. How long had it been since he had seen Sky? How was he going to fare in Chaos? How many times had the curse, 'chaos take you' left his lips? Yellow eyes closed as he landed beside his Sith Infiltrator. Taking out a cigarette, he sparked it up, taking a long drag. As the smoke left his nostrils, he walked to the edge of the platform, looking at Coruscant below him. He stayed there for awhile, finishing the cigarette before discarding it to gravity.

Walking into his house, he stepped in front of the large mirror that had been recently put in his living room. He would've tried it with the mirror that was above his bed, but he didn't know exactly how this spell would work. With a wave of his hand, the Sithese rune for chaos was splattered onto the mirror with the blood from his cloak. The young Sith Master began to chant, his eyes fixed to the mirror. Invisible tendrils grabbed for the blood, pulling it to the mirror. After all of the blood had been splattered across the surface, the tendrils wrapped around Avicus. He tried to fight it, but the pull of Chaos was too strong.

The boy was thrust head first into Hell.

"Well, well. It appears that Lord Sennou has come back to Hell." It was the first thing he heard. He looked up to see a tall man standing before him. The force presence was familliar, but nothing he had felt in this life. "I think you may be confused, lover." This was the man that slew Darth Sennou in the throws of passion. Her apprentice that betrayed her. As Avicus stood up, he could feel the fear radiating off of the man.

He saw how he looked in this world through the force spirit's eyes. Yellow eyes were now glowing white. His hair a deep black. Fear clutched the spirit as it ran off. It seemed all of the spirits within cleared away from him. All of them running in fear. All of them screaming out the same thing.

The Reaper...

Riding the currents of energy that flowed through Chaos, Avicus focused on Sky's presence, and allowed himself to be drawn to her. His eyes closed, arms crossed. The sooner he got out of this place, the better. The more he stayed, the more powerful he felt. If this kept up, he would find himself not wanting to leave.

That would be a problem.

"Hello, Mistress." he whispered. A light sigh escaped his lips. Even in Hell, she was beautiful to him. His eyes opened as he smirked. A cocky God, but he had always been that way. Stepping up to her, he kneeled in front of her, his head held low. "It's been too long."

Daritha hated being the middle of a three way fight with Force users. It was just not the place to be, but he was comfurtable now. Everything now had a flow. How the Jedi had blocked his attack failed him but it was irrelevent. Daritha now had a perfect handle on this. The Jedi was close and Daritha was a far stronger using of the Force so his grip on him did not worry him at all. And with the Jedi focusing on him it would make life even easier, oh and the Jedi behind him attacking. Better yet.

Nearly the moment the grip formed he was already working against it. Force energy was still built up in him from the deaths of those that he had killed, and while his Force push earlier had gotten rid of some of that excess there was still plenty there. That still did not change the fact that it would not be the easiest thing to dispel. Daritha's mind worked in overdrive to formulate the best plan of attack against the berrier. Focusing on the area in front of his body he built up energy. He visualized a few dozen needles in his mind and created them in the Force and pushed them out of his body at the berrier. It was just enough to let him escape.

Not wasting a moment he pushed off the ground to the right in a sort of jump, pushing the spear with his body in a circular fashion. The axe blades soon became flush with the Jedi's back, creating a paddle of sorts. It pushed the male Jedi forward. All the while Daritha was clear of the female Jedi's assualt. And he got low in his jump to go over his spear, while he went over he turned around to face the direction that the Jedi was now traveling, and was now looking at the opponent that had been just attacking him.

After pushing his opponent with the axe he created a bearier of his own in the Force not far in front of his upper half. This one was more like a cylinder that was about a foor in diameter. Then Daritha pulled it towards Goff to throw him off balance. Now with both of his opponents moving towards eachother, and one going in a way that would now be attacking the other Daritha fealt very content.

He paused for a moment to gather himself. The berrier had surprised him much like everything that the male Jedi had done before. It had been stronger than expected and had required more energy. It did not stop him from watching what seemed like a slow motion scene as the two were moving at one another.

He pushed his spearhead into the ground and raised his left hand. To make things worse for the two a cone of fire burst from his hand at them. This was not your normal fire, it burned blue as opposed to the normal reddish orenge. The cone was massive parts of it hit a building which quickly started to go up in flames.

The burning of Theed had begun...

Jabez winced inwardly as his attempt held the Sith for almost no time at all. He could feel it being broken, almost troo easily, and it dawned on his just how much stronger his foe was than him. But his thoughts were interrupted as he felt the axe against his back. The Sith was strong, that was certain, and Jabez's own strength couldn't hold him there. One thing after another, one more advantage to make the Sith further in control of the battle.

Had he been toying around with Jabez the entire time? His thoughts were confirmed as he was soon making his way towards Nesrin. A trick of the force, and one that seemed to happen quite quickly. How to fight against it? The young Knight wouldn't have any time to think of it, however, as the assault continued. Then it happened, a moment through his mind that seemed to be the very force itself speaking. Now was the time. Jabez wouldn't survive the encounter, but he knew that it wasn't Nesrin's role to die in this fight. She would have to go on. ”It isn't your time to die, Nesrin.

I bid you a very fond farewell. May the force be with you.
Jabez fought as hard as he could, sending a force push towards the female Knight in an attemp to push her out of the way. Then his eyes moved to Korran, and he winked, then the fire hit him. Skin melted, hair burnt, and clothes went ablaze in mere moments. But he was a Jedi, and he still had one last thing to do. The last ounces of his strength were used, the very last, and Jabez rushed towards the Sith. The force willed this one's death, and it would be his final act.

Normally C'orringath would have considered the words of the Sith to be madness, lunacy- a method of doublespeak by the deceptive Sith, where "one utopian rule" actually meant "in our iron grasp". Now, however, as he stood here, before his fallen ex-comrade and a city-planet torn by strife and mayhem of the Jedi's own doing, the words of the Sith seemed to make sense-- perfect sense, in fact. C'orringath knew that there was no turning back now; with Caleb Torran beaten and defeated, he had to show him how the Code was greater than any Jedi, any event, even greater than either of them combined. So great, that if it were to be followed, if it were to be justified, than a Jedi would have to lose their soul, and another, perhaps, lose their life. Which one had the worst trade at the moment? As the black energy of the lightside began to infiltrate his body, C'orringath couldn't say.

Keeping a metaphysical eye on Caleb, but turning to the Sith master, whose arm was extended in camaraderie, in alliance, C'orringath shifted his saber from his right hand to his left, and with a quick motion, clasped the Sith master's hand in his own, and letting it go after a firm shake of the robotic hand. A quick nod of the head soon followed.

"...My beliefs will not falter in this instance....Now, I believe it is time to take him before your ruler, and have him judged for his crimes. I can take him if your still needed here to control the restless populace, or track down any of my...Former brethren that have escaped. This one is broken and defeated now, and of no consequence, but he still must pay for his acts this night."

With that, C'orringath turned from the Sith master, and looked directly at Caleb, light blue eyes turning dark and as tumultuous as the wrathful, unforigiving oceans of any living planet. The hour of judgment was at hand....

Dodged. Just like that. Busy with Jabez and yet aware of what was happening behind him, all Korran had to do to avoid her was to get out of her way, which he casually did. Nesrin rushed at him again, determined not to let frustration get the best of her. But no sooner did she raise her blade that the boy's small body was pushed in her direction. She stepped aside quickly and attempted to get in front of him, to protect him from Korran's further attacks...

Time seemed to freeze. The events that followed moved before the Jedi's eyes with slow deliberation, like a holo-video in slow motion, each frame painful in its intensity. Yet there was also a feeling of detachment, as if part of her was watching from a distance, numb and indifferent to what was going on.

A flash of blue light, heat on her face, a cone of flame travelling towards the two Jedi at rapid speed. Her legs, her arms, they all felt heavy, she could do nothing except wait and stare...

A strong push from her left sent her sprawling onto the ground. Nesrin gripped her weapon tighter as she tried to stand, determined not to lose it. Whispers of an urgent message prodded at her mind.

”It isn't your time to die, Nesrin...”

That's when she saw Jabez enveloped by the flames. A cry that could not be quenched rose up from her throat. ”Jabez! NO!”

“May the force be with you...”

His skin, his hair, his clothing, they were all feeding the fire. She had to close her eyes for a brief second, to look away from it all. Never much of an empath, the Knight was rather shocked to see that she could now feel some of the pain that Jabez was experiencing, a brief flash of agony that ripped her from her trance and brought her back to what she was facing.

”No...don't...” Nesrin whispered when she realised what he was doing.

The boy threw himself at Korran in what was likely to be his final act. Even as she leaped at the Sith to strike him again, she knew that Jabez wouldn't survive. The reality of it pained her greatly.

Alphonse was busy on a strange planet in the Mid Rim,when he recieved the call for aid from Naboo.

He was thunderstruck by this development. The Sith, barking at the backdoor of the planet he thought of as home. To one who had never had a home before, the thought of losing it drove him into a fury he hadn't experienced since he had joined the Jedi. More of a murderous rage than righteous fury. It felt all too familiar. Like an old friend that you have parted with on poor terms,

With a great effort, he calmed himself, letting his anger, his malice, be washed away from him a bit at a time. He climbed into his retrofitted ARC 170, and began the flight to Naboo. He had time to think on his flight. Time to think about what was happening on Naboo. It was stream of thought he cut short on purpose. He didn't want to dwell on dark thoughts at this moment in time.

After a time, his ship dropped out of hyperspace above Naboo, and darted around it seeking a piece of sky that was Sith-free enough to fly through. It was time to get down there , and hook up with the defenders. He shouted out in the Force, and simultaniously over the comm unit"This is Jedi Padawan Alphonse Haven, calling Naboo Defenders, and all Jedi, I am entering Naboo atmosphere presently, please relay landing coordinates to any party in need of aid.

He only hoped that it would be answered soon. "Someone answer.......... He thought grimly.

“You’re afraid of suffering,” he spat heatedly. “Not your own, no, but you couldn’t stand to have innocent blood shed, or innocent bones snapped, could you?”

He eyed the blade that pointed at his throat, but Monnik kept his own inactive by his side and remained where he stood.

“Your friends have left a lot hurt on Coruscant, and for no good cause,” he scoffed and shook his head. “And my friends have been provoked to retaliate. Not as I have. They’re not as merciful as I am. But every moment you waste with me is a moment that could be used to start digging graves.”

Naboo

Katrina was glad to be home and off that atrocious planet. The jedi knight could sense the presence of sith. She had known that the sith were attacking Naboo back on Korriban which was part of the reason she had decided to come home. She didn’t want the jedi to lose their home in the process of trying to gain a sith planet. The young woman personally thought it was silly of them to attack, that wasn’t like jedi at all. Jedi were keepers of peace, they were not suppose to start wars.

Walking down the streets of Theed she kept on her guard for any sith around her. She planned on making her way to the temple because she was sure that were most of the sith had gone. They loved destroying the jedi temple over and over again.

"I don't dig graves, Monnik. And I'm not afraid of people being hurt. It happens all the time and would happen even if the Jedi and Sith didn't exist. That's the nature of the galaxy."

Though Monnik was a bit wary of Kamon's blade, he made no move to activate his own and engage in battle again. This was a good thing for it gave the two Master's of the Force a chance to talk in ways that usually didn't happen. Normally, the two of them would be trying to kill each other. That was the way things normally went.

"Just leave, Monnik. I intend to make sure that we aren't as foolish as we were in attacking Coruscant. Tend to your own.. They should learn to stop attacking Naboo. You always lose."

Coruscant - Kyp.

For now Orocus and Serapis remained as they were, a step behind her, silent and menacing. Adrasteia had yet to remove the fall of her hood, revealing her features. That had not stopped the Jedi from sensing her gender. Or perhaps some ridiculous celibate doctrine had simply left him so long without a woman that he could smell her feminine scent on the wind. She watched him as he moved to step forward, then apparently thought better of it.

Jedi Knight Kyp Durron.. How endearing.

"It's not a good night to be a Jedi on Coruscant, Kyp Durron. Your foolish Order has cost many their lives, many more still yet may perish in the attempt to right the wrongs of the galaxy."

She folded her arms before her, tucked into the folds of her cloak, unseen. "What do you want?"

There was no point in delaying the inevitable. If he thought to block her from her path, she would simply make him move.

It would have been foolish to think that the Sith was incapable of attacking without a weapon. They were trained as blunt instruments of combat, more so than the Jedi, and therefore were able to adapt to survive in any encounter. Yoshiro palmed his saber back into place and struck a defensive stance, from the Bendu kata known as the Way of the Gados. Though he was by no means inexperienced in combat, lacking both hands the monk could not rely upon strength alone to incapacitate his foe. Instead, it fell to his agility and speed to carry him. If he could out maneuver the Sith, there was a chance he could catch her off guard and disable her.

Two fists came at him. One to the gut, the other to his head. The monk swept his hand upward, a wave of the Force flowing out from it, to catch the latter blow. If everything went to plan, he would twist the fist and step away in one fluid motion, turning the Sith away from him. The attack was unexpected, however, so there was no telling whether he could be able to successful execute what he had in mind.
