"More shuttles are launching, sir."

"More?!"

As if that wasn't enough before! Was there going to be no end to the Sith's head-on tactics? While their ships were hanging back, their troops were coming straight-on for the Jedi.

Relen needed a plan, and a quick one. Something that his son told him once, could very well be useful. If he could harness that one tiny thing now, one thing that might help him in his war-like ways...

How did he tell me...?

Everyone has a unique mind, Dad. You have this uncanny knack of knowing just how to bring them all together. It's a family thing, trust me. All you need to do is reach out and bring those minds together - that will make the enemy tremble. You might suck at everything else, but you've always been able to do this. I've felt it.

You better be right, Tethis...or we're going to die.

One hand of the Jedi Knight reached out, seeking all of the minds of the Jedi force and thinking hard. He had to get this just right.

We must win here, my brethren! This is our chance to show the galaxy the evils of the Sith, and we must not fail in our quest! This cannot be allowed to happen, and should it happen, we will not rest until we prove it! We are one, and we are the Jedi Order - we have been given the task of protecting the Galaxy from the evils of these murderers. Let us perform that task, together!

Battle Meditation - a powerful skill, when it boosted the morale of your allies and dropped that of your enemies. The Knight's mind rang out clearly through the abyss of space, a shining beacon of light and hope - one that, hopefully, would serve to rally his force and rout theirs.

There was a scare of significant unrest on Coruscant, but already such situations were becoming isolated. The chaos that the Jedi were trying to spread across the planet was slowly being reduced, and those responsible would be hunted down. But these were small-scale disputes, minor problems. They could be dealt with almost at leisure, though the Sith responsible were among the most competent. They would quell the problem without great difficulty.

But beyond defending their own territory, liquidating their petty enemies from their home, the Sith would need retribution. The Jedi thought that their feeble attempt at an assault was sufficient, but they were inexperienced in the art of conquest. The Sith were the masters of all such things, and it was only fair that they educate their light-side counterparts.

“Have the Formosus readied for hyperspace. Set coordinates for Naboo,” Domovoi commanded, then clipped the communicator back to his belt after he received the acknowledgement from the captain.

He gave the council chamber one last glance before disappearing through the doorway.

* * * * * * * * * * * * *

The shuttle ride was quick, but the crew aboard the Star Destroyer Formosus were even faster to mobilise and by the time Lord Erebos had stepped aboard, the captain was standing to attention for his orders. Domovoi stood on the command deck just before they leapt to hyperspace. He gazed through the viewing panel over Coruscant once more and felt the sudden contempt at those who sought to ruin the orderly and pleasant way of life that had been established on the galactic capital.

“Make the jump, captain.”

Immediately, the control room leapt to life and within moments the stars streaked across the view screen as The Formosus entered hyperspace en route for Naboo.

Korriban - Mikel

"Attack is a form of defense," was Zelazny's only comment as he concentrated on the Sith's defensive tactics. No particular strategy other than simply blocking his strikes - that suggested Shanshu was new to using the sword. That fact alone was a great advantage to the Jedi. Or possibly not, if the feeling he was getting from the weapon was true. The concentration of the Dark Side in the sword was strong - exceptionally strong. Zelazny's advantage would be negated by that. For the moment, the playing field was level.

The Mandalorian hopped backwards a step and twirled his blade before striking again, this time more slowly than his last offensive. After a few of these slow strikes, he upped the speed. His next attacks, aimed towards the Sith's wrists were faster even than his first strikes.

The hammer missed and crashed deep into the soil, with a slight struggle Steph managed to pull the heavy weapon out of the ground. It wasn't easy to wield a sledgehammer and make it look light, nevermind trying to heave it out the ground. It was also a very demanding task, swinging it around, it took it's toll on a person with the stature of Steph's stamina but she wasn't tired just yet.

"Is it so wrong to hold such darkness in my heart? Is it such a crime to be angry? Tell me, why do you hold such emotion back?" She retorted as she held her sledgehammer like a battering ram and charged towards him, hoping to ram the sledgehammer into his gut.

Korriban: Chloe

Metran caught the Sith's saber, then set it down in favor of recalling his damaged lighstaff. It still had one good blade, and Met' wasn't all that good in fighting with two separate weapons. Bolting to settle back to back with Chloe, he began to think of a possible plan.

"This ship is Hawk's, isn't it? Probably not a good idea to take it - he'll need it to get out of here." The Sith temple was somewhat visible in the distance. "These husks are strong, but they're not agile. If we cut through them, we might be able to make it to the Sith's hangars to steal one of their ships."

Honor? Honor was a myth told to soldiers who had nothing to die for other then their 'Honor'. A man could die for what he belived in, he could die for others. But for something as trivial as Honor.

Stean however, would not just stand there and let his soldiers Die. These gods, or whatever they were would destroy them all. And Stean was the one who desturbed them.

" Please, i was the one who awoke them. tell your gods that if they want revenge-"

Stean looked over to see a vibrosword lying on the ground. Probably lost by one of the soldiers. He called it to him with the force and got into a battle position

"-They can come and get it from me."

Maize outlined to Vega all of the details that Archaen had forwarded on to him... the quarantine, the troop figures, the status on the planetary shield. As far as what was at the Master's disposal, Maize simply provided an encrypted datacard with the exact details.

His gaze was ice cold when he looked to Fenris again. "See to it that the Jedi are removed from my planet, my Lord."

With that, the Sith Master returned to the interior of the Senate Hall the way he'd come. He trusted Darth Fenris to make appropriate plans and bring them to fruition now.

It had occurred to Casey, that hanging around Governor Wayne's office after she had just completely disregarded the rules of the house by releasing a live feed with unreleased statements might not be the smartest idea. Her best course of action was to cut her losses for now and get down to the scene of the riots. She could continue to follow the story from the same angle, documenting the facts as she saw them, from the.. right point of view. This was it baby, her honeypot! After this she could have any show, any hour and name her price.. She would just have to be very careful...

She went on her own. Her miniature recorder was removed from her datapad and mounted on her chrono. She would take frequent stops along the way to report her findings and broadcast live feeds of the violence. To the team at her network she would be a hero! No! A pilgrim in a savage land.. No! The messiah of better programing! She could feel her ratings rising even now.. From her speeder that was still in the shadow of the Senate, Casey tried to scan the darkened district, and spot a good place to get lucky.

Her blue gaze was drawn to the area that had been the talk of much focus lately. The former Jedi Temple. It had been reoccupied recently. There was a mysterious feeling about the place that gave her the willies. If something was going on behind the scenes, she would place her tokens on that being a loadstone for trouble. As she watched several military issue transports left the Temple and lifted up in formation. They parted ways and flew out into several areas of the city, and she lost sight of them. All but one. Which was moving her way!

"Gotcha.."

Keeping her speeder lights off, she took a breath and followed. It was leaving the senate behind quickly then headed in the direction of sector seven.. She had no idea why, but she was going to find out..

Coruscant - Senate Hall

The inter-planetary holo-conference ended. Silas Beskar had been informed of the hardships befalling Coruscant and he had been offered adequate compensation. Right now, all Sophie and the rest of her Sith brethren could do was wait while the Mandalorian convened with his commander.

Unsure if reserving energy was still a priority, she powered down the desk comm and spent a moment in quiet contemplation. The other Sith were working to eliminate the Jedi menace... but the population had yet to be subdued. She reclined and the oversized chair rocked back. Sophie’s consciousness expanded beyond herself and touched the tense group aura outside of the senate building.

With a little ripple of intension, she altered the hue of Coruscant’s emotional atmosphere. It wasn’t much, but it was something... like a pebble distorting the surface of a lake. Trillions of minds inhabited Coruscant. Sophie was a skilled empath, but even she deemed the task of manipulating the multitude to be impossible. They were all thinking and feeling the same things, however... fear and aggression. The Jedi’s terrorizing tactics had melded the individuals into a single collective psyche. It could be influenced after all.

“Lady Maurow...” One of the senate staff, a young female, peered into the office, “ ...a broadcast room has been prepared for the address.”

“Excellent. Thank you.” She was suddenly feeling calmer now, hopeful. Palpatine was able to control populations larger than Coruscant’s... it was possible. The riots would end.

As the jedi left Fidelis fell to the ground. His leg was sore and could not support his weight any longer. He called two of his soldiers over to brace his leg as he prepared to relocate his knee. He bit down and with one quick fist made a sickening sound. He grunted and exhaled for a few seconds until the gut turning pain left.

" We have a war to win men. Stand me the hell up already".

He had both his sabers in hand as he began limping his way towards the jedi's soldiers. They would pay very dearly for this.

A petite hand reached for the bronze furred animal that was clutched to the shoulder of the Jedi Padawan, a loving pet gave it the needed confidence to shrug off the blow received from the Jedi Knight who was almost as bad as Alex. With a single blown kiss the animal leaped from the shoulder of Sophia to the shoulder of Bryan, a small pitter-patter was made from the landing, but it was nothing severe, just a small noise as the small mammal started to feast on the spare nuts and rations that Sophia laid down on the command console.

A slight smile evaded the lips of Bryan, but faintly, Sophia could feel the light that emitted from within the soul of her friend. A hand stretched itself towards the Jedi with a loving touch that was meant to give him the courage to punch in the coordinates to Coruscant so that the JEdi could get there as soon as possible without any interference.

As the codes were punched in, the two Padawans got up and left to get things ready in the back.

“Hey, Bryan. I’ll get mine and Kyp’s backpacks ready, you get yours. Then we can go back into the main area and rest before we.” She paused for a slight moment, trying to withhold the giggle that was almost ready to burst from her lips to show her humorous appeal to the subject. “As Kyp put it...kick some Sith Butt.” She said as her giggle exploded from he lips. And a hand outreached to the man next to her, holding onto his shoulder for support as the other gripped her stomach.

“Sophia, I know that you do not think that this war is serious, but it is. People are going to die, and I want you to be ready for it when it happens. So, I want you to take this blaster. I pray that you will not have to use it, but if you do I want you to not even think a second thought about it. Just fire.” He said, her voice stern as Sophia gathered her thoughts and started to pack the rest of the items into the backpack, her smile evaporating into a stern look if embarrassment and confusion.

She tossed the blaster into her bag without a care as she knew that she would never use it. Even if she were threatened she would not use it, she would rather die than have to sacrifice an innocent soul to the darkness of death.

With a small sigh she looked at the backpack that belonged to herself, then to Bryan. A moment of fear passed over her as she thought about the grim words that her friend spoke just a few moments ago. She knew that it was dangerous, and she feared for her friends more than herself.

“Bryan, before we go I must tell you something.” She whispered as she neared the man. Her face buried into his neck as she started to sob.

“If...if anything happens to you, I don’t know what I’ll do. I fear for the worst if you die. I just know I couldn’t handle it, I just know it!” She moaned into his shoulder as she banged against his chest in a fearful moment.

“Sophia Antoinette, I want you to pull yourself together. Nothing bad will happen to me! And besides, I know that with your courage it will help me get through it. And trust me, I would not go down without a fight. Taking ten Sith with me. But, I know that won’t happen because I won’t die!” He proclaimed as he started to hug Sophia.

With a moment of silence she got herself together and started to pack yet again.

"Their thirst will not be quenched so easily. Every Jedi that has stepped on this sacred ground is a blasphemer and will be destroyed, you are not alone in your fate."

One of the ghosts nearby swept through a soldier, sucking the life from his body as the smoky form swept around him. It heard his cries, that he was the one who attacked the valley. There was a quiet whisper as the spirit slid through the air, leaving a dark trail behind it, scraps of long decayed robes rippled around its empty, cold face. The dust and smoke that made up its physical form warped around as it came to a stop between Maleficus and the Jedi.

"Surrender and it might let you live, if you continue with your stupidity then it will rip the life from your body and you will be of no help to anybody."

Naboo – Counter Assault

Stars continued to shoot across the screen, made into blurred trails by the immense speed at which The Formosus travelled. Nevertheless, it was a smooth ride, and perhaps one of the fastest in the galaxy. The ship was, by an standards, a great force of destruction, but its greatest value lay in the fact that it could outrun any pursuers to make any damage superficial. It could strike, then disappear into the abyss.

It was from space’s black void that it emerged now, slowing to ordinarily attainable speeds, then began to hover in the sky. Miles below was Naboo, and the ominous presence of a Sith star destroyer was a terrifying reminder. The threat alone was sufficient to have fighters from the surface taking off from the military bases around Theed.

“Minor bombardments only, captain,” Domovoi spoke coolly, surveying the battle map on a holographic screen. “We don’t want Theed reduced to rubble. We only want them to know how vulnerable they are.”

“Immediately, my lord,” the captain responded, saluting briefly before hurrying to relay the command.

Monnik continued to view the hologram before him. A circling blue image of The Formosus hung above the indistinctive shape of a planet below. Tiny holographic shapes rose from the surface. At first there was only half a dozen, but surely many were being prepared to aid in the assault. One by one, as soon as they entered a certain distance of Formosus, they were picked off by the automatic blaster turrets.

A few shapes descended from below the Sith vessel, falling bombs. Almost in unison with the release of the explosives, another dozen fighters rose from the surface. They moved towards the bombs, desperate to defend the city below. The ship’s holographic likenesses swooped about before Lord Erebos, firing at the descending explosives and forcing them to detonate in the sky. Some of the fighters were caught in the great blast, but the Sith ship was clearly safe, and all the people in Theed would suffer was the trauma of the horrific firework show that could easily end them.

Formosus would not have been sufficient alone to contend with the fleet that would usually defend Naboo, but with the assault on Coruscant, the diminished defence force was unable to repel the Star Destroyer. Monnik was given free reign, and while it would be a struggle for him to break the lines of the planetary defence fighters, he could neither be forced to leave, and so his half-hearted barrage of the shields that protected the city could continue near-unchecked, at least until the Jedi organised a proper defence.

Eventually the pair made their way back to the cockpit, and took their respective seats. Kyp had already sensed their preparations coming to a close and was firing up the ignition sequence. Bryan was seemingly ok with it - he presumably trusted the Jedi Knight.

Kyp turned back and said, softly, "strap yourself in!" before he checked through all of the systems on the monitor before him and, confirming that they were ready for flight, activated the ignition. The repulsorlifts fired, and the ship rose a few meters in the air. Slowly, the ship turned under Kyp's guiding hand and then angled upwards slightly, accelerating through the air as the Jedi Knight turned back towards the others.

"I hope that you're both ready for whatever we have to face," he said softly as the ship penetrated the atmosphere. "I believe that there is a small metal ball in my pack - if you could get it out for me, Sophia, then that would be great."

It was a useful thing to carry a training remote around - they were small and light, and when entering such a dangerous situation perhaps useful. He had a spare lightsaber with him, and it was about time that he taught Sophia how to use it - at least minimally. Hopefully, of course, she wouldn't have to use the saber - but Kyp doubted that she would be safe very much.

Coruscant: The Riff-Raff and Raff-Riff

C'orringath found the Sith woman in front of him, an apprentice by the looks of her aura (though he was never one to judge a being's worth based on their Force presence), but of a rather quaint and curious oulook, a mindseet of things. She was a Sith, of that there was no doubt, but she was most intriguing. C'orringath had encountered, in his time as a Jedi, various kinds of Sith. From the blood thirsty Maleficus, to the dark but sophisticated DarkSky Kerberos, to that Sith that was all but a queen, Sophie Maurow, Sith seemed to be either blood thirsty beings of death and destruction or more reasoning, sophisticated beings who simply embraced principles counter to those of the Jedi, but not completely dark.... This Sith obviously had a bit of both sides inside her, which wasn't surprising, but it was unique, on some level. In a strange way, C'orringath liked that.

"They don't need to be a monolithic collective to earn my disgust, with all due respect Master. They just need to try and create one by stamping out people who do things differently. If you've ever been denounced as evil by strangers for accessing a power they found unacceptable... then I shouldn't have to explain it any further."

At her word's, the Jedi master's mind, in the strange way that minds are prone to do, flashed back to a time that seemed so far away and yet always so near. Still, his mind had no aspect of time, just the iron-orange sand and mountains of Kessel. Though he hazed the memories as well as possible from any empaths or mind readers, C'orringath's back still spasmed slightly under the imagined impact of corporal punishment, punishment dolled out for anything that his owners felt was...Unnatural. Then that fateful night, when his five-year-old self had forced a severance with the Force and wiped the slate clean, cutting him off of the Force forever and completely.

Or so he thought, and here he was. Stronger in the Force that he had been those long years ago, but still a memory of that young child in Kessel.

"...I know..."

My name is Shakti. I'll help you get the hell out of here if only to keep the rest of my allies from having to deal with you...But I think you'd better reconsider whether you're allowed to trust me. Sith are mindless hurricanes of destruction and suffering you know. We're not at all benevolent and just like you are."

C'orringath had little to say that would fit the situation before them, I mean, he could go on about his experiences with Sith and how she may have been mistaken in her implication, or the way that she seemed to see both Sith and Jedi as singular consciousnesses, or, she at least thought C'orringath did. Perhaps she had a very unsatisfying encounter with more dogmatic followers of the light in her past, and that caused this, but C'orringath would not insult her by trying to "figure her out" based on sparse details like this particular conversation.

"No...But some of you are, and you haven't tried to kill us yet...And I don't think you will."

He shrugged and smirked;

"Then again, I've been wrong before, but I still trust you."

C'orringath's own words betrayed him, though his mind stayed locked like a safe; he had been wrong before, the council had been wrong before, all of the Jedi had been wrong before...Could this have been another case of Jedi good-intention gone too far? The Sith had been right, the riots were, for the most part, Jedi-incited and were now Jedi-hostile...The people of Coruscant were telling them to get out, to get off their planet, to leave them be under the tyrannical rule of the Sith...

Or the rule that the Jedi thought was tyrannical. In hindsight, C'orringath could see that it was quite the opposite; everyone had been happy on this planet until the Jedi had started their operations, that much was true, and now, they were taking over the planet without any indication, any sort of cry for help...Just an assumption. Inside, C'orringath knew he shouldn't be here, he shouldn't be here on this planet, in this battle that he felt was pointless. That was not the point of his existence, to go where called, but to go where called and where he knew it was right to go. This planet was not that place. In turn, C'orringath was useless here...

His musing continued up until the point the Sith appeared in front of them, that Sith master with the body made part of flesh and a soul composed of pure evil. It was at that point that C'orringath made a realization, he turned his head slightly to Shakti, speaking in a whisper...

"I think you're....Right."

Turning back to the new Sith, C'orringath's words, in a strange neutral-calm, unlike Enset's more appropriate, if not odd (for a knight) cheerful greeting of the Sith master. C'orringath bowed before he spoke.

"Greetings, master; as said before, how can we help you?"

Coruscant - Senate Hall

Maize sighed noisily as he re-entered his office. Lord Fenris had his authority to secure Coruscant. Sophie was about to make her address. The others... he assumed they were doing what they did best... whatever that was.

The Sith Master went to the bar within his office and poured himself a glass of Corellian Red. He stared into the wine glass a moment before taking a sip and walking over to his desk. From within its locked drawers, he withdrew various childish drawings and spread them out on the desktop.

"How I wish I was around all of you instead,"
he murmured, drinking his wine.

Kassandra had brought the drawings from Corellia where their grandchildren lived. The images brought a bittersweet smile to his lips, missing the kids. He missed his own children too who'd all settled back on Corellia. Maize sighed.

When this is all over, I'm taking a very long holiday...

Turning as she exited the building, Darth Sennou was at her side again. Her lips curling to a smile as he commented on her choice of cloths. "I do try to make quite an impression wherever I go. It'll give the Jedi boys something else to concentrate on, other than my sabers." She pressed forward then heard his question.

Rachel looked back and gave him a wink, "I'd love some. Let's do this together and get this filth from our planet. Shall we?"

...I...feel...a strange presence...

Elijah knew that this would not be a battle he could win easily. Boarding a ship so large as the Viscount-class Star Defender was never a small task, and the fact that there was a new power flowing through this aethereal battlefield. One he'd never felt before - but he could feel the effects. The morale of the Jedi was soaring, and the Sith forces' own slipping. He'd heard of this - a skill called Battle Meditation.

And I bet the captain on the Jedi flagship is responsible. I will gladly kill him myself.

The shuttle formation bearing Elijah and his team negotiated their way through the furball with minimal damage; escorted through, it was much simpler. The other teams did not fare so well, but that was irrelevant. Elijah just needed to get aboard the Viscount.

"Lord Morvante, we are within attack range. Shall we prepare for boarding?"

"Affirmative. Prepare the turbo-booster. We must be in that hangar before the magnetic containment field forms."

"Yes, Lord."

And with that, the six shuttles boosted forwards, crashing into the hangars and unloading their cargo of clone soldiers, Elijah the last to step off the shuttles with his lightsaber active. The battle was on.

Korriban - Remy

The enchanted shard of wood with which Remy dueled could not hold up against the Jedi's lightsaber forever and already it had began to splinter under Hawk's relentless assault. Closer and closer he came with each strike, the tip of his blade tearing into Remy's clothing, the final moments of the Sith Master's life approaching but then Hawk found himself spinning away from the duel and at first he had no idea why,it was as if the force itself had pulled him away, but then he saw the flames, unnatural violet fire had sprung up to swirl around the Sith and preventing him from being able to finish the Master off.

Hawk paced for a moment, his emerald green eyes peering through the violet haze of the fire to lock with those inhuman yellow orbs that belonged to Remy. Remy had a warped but powerful array of sorcerous abilities that would completely stump most Jedi, Hawk however was not most Jedi and had spent years honing his abilities to counter the immense power of Malice Draclau, high Sith priest, former Dark Lord of the Sith and Horseman of fammine.

Still not entirely sure if his strength had returned sufficiently to deal with the fire, Hawk made a change from the norm and extended his right arm, holding his blade at arms length and using the lightsaber as a focus for his force energy and then slipped the blade into a stream of fire. The normal aqua blue hue of the blade disappeared and it became violet as the power fueling the fire was absorbed into the blade. Hawk's eyes blazed orange as the power was abosrbed into him through the hilt of the blade, the dark power filling him and meeting its end deep within his core of light.

Strength flooded back to the Jedi Master as the raw force energy was syphoned off to replenish his reserves and then with a jerking motion Hawk pulled his blade from within the fire leaving it to flicker for a brief moment before it died leaving behind only an afterimage which Hawk blinked away, his eyes having returned to their usual emerald green upon completion of the blink.

Fire still crackled around the blade of Hawk's lightsaber but it was no longer violet, it was the same aqua blue as Hawk's blade and with a whipping motion, Hawk sent a burst of blue fire towards Remy, the residual energy now having been removed from his blade.

There were other streams of violet fire but Hawk paid them no heed as he stepped forwards, the flames curving around him and causing a force barrier that he had errected around him to shimmer.

"Your strength is my strength, your power is my power, surrender to me now and your weakness need not be your end." Hawk spoke as he emerged from the flames.

As the click sounded, the buckled was fastened and so was Sophia, for the time being anyways. But she knew that to be ready for Coruscant she would have to train in the lightsaber side of things. Maybe, if she were lucky then she would be able to go through Coruscant without using any weapons, maybe if she were truly lucky, Coruscant would give itself to the Jedi and leave the Sith to their desert world of Korriban.

As the lights that made the stars visible blurred and streaked into straight lines of neon lights that shone into the blue eyes of the Padawan. A moment of hesitation stopped Sophia as she grabbed the buckle of the fastener. Even if it were the first time she had gone into Hyperspace in a long time, she had almost forgotten the turbulence of the stars as the ship dodged them left and right, almost as though it were playing Dejarik with them, making its move before the other could make their own. The stars were losing in this round, but Sophia knew that if the nav computer messed up, the stars could take out their piece and the game would be over: checkmate.

A moment of hesitation slipped by as she unfastened the seat belt and made her way to the back room where the backpacks resided, her eyes scanned the ship as everything looked the same. Save for a few things that tipped over as their pilot escorted them off of the landing pad in the Jedi Temple. A soft light emitted from the inside of a canister, it was a footlocker and the lock had been broken from the stumble it had sustained. As Sophia cautiously motioned over towards the strange light she saw the backpack right next to it. So it was as if she were meant to go towards the light of the locker.

A careful hand reached for the steel locker as the cold touch ran up her arm and sent its deathly chill down her dainty back. A finger tipped the lid of the footlocker to reveal the small flashlight that had busted and the light had gone off for the moment incase of an emergency. It was a creepy coincidence at the most. Or that was what Sophia brushed it off as. But for the time being she grabbed Kyp’s backpack and hustled the handle into the main area of the freighter. Without a second thought she opened the main pocket, and there it laid, a sphere no bigger than Sophia hand, but it held within it a weapon powerful enough to take a man down. Even if it were a training saber, Sophia knew it would still sting if it were to strike her skin.

As she lifted the sphere she saw that if was coded, and even though she was a Padawan she knew some slight Force tricks. With a wave of her hand the code appeared and the canister opened to pour its content into Sophia’s eyes. A moment of awe struck the Padawan as she grabbed the chilled hilt. The feeling of the saber enveloped her body with a swift feeling of power, followed by a moment of fear as she realized that she would have to use it to attack her Master. If there was anything Sophia would almost never do it was what she was about to.

The cooled hilt of the lightsaber chilled her palm as she held its magnificence in her small palm. Gripping it so that it would never fall out she held it fast, making sure that if wouldn’t slip out and hurt anyone, especially Sophia. Without a second thought she examined the cylinder in which a blade was held. She saw the many things that were ignited by the button on the side, a moment of silence licked the lips of the Padawan as the light side bathed her in its awe.

Silently she prayed that she was not hurt by her own incompetence. The silver metal was a symbol of the Jedi Order as the Jedi Order was a symbol of the Galaxy. But when you have a symbol someone wants to make their own bigger, and that was where the Sith came into play. Their dark teachings held an ominous evil to it, as it grew like a plague worlds under their control corroded. Coruscant was one. Even though the Sith did nice things for the planet there were dark mysteries about it that would almost never be solved since the Sith held it under its control.

A small sigh emitted from the Padawan as she realized where she was. And another moment passed before the red button was pushed on the lightsaber. With a shocked look on her face she saw the purple light spring like a daisy from the cylinder, and as she saw it she thought back to her gardens and how they were holding up.

As she saw the purple light go up she also saw the fear in her own heart of what was to come if she used it the wrong way.

“Master Kyp, I think I am ready.” She whispered to her master as she started to make her way to the back of the main room. Viewing Bryan playing pazaak with a droid on the ship.

((No worries.))

"Sounds absolutely smashing." he said, catching up with her.

He took the final drag of his smoke, tossing it to the side. A light smirk danced on his lips as he and the Sith Mistress began walking. As he exhaled the smoke from his lips, his datapad began to vibrate in his pocket. Fumbling through, navigating his fingers over the pack of smokes, he pulled the small datapad out, answering the call.

"Yes, Captain?"

The man on screen bowed his head. "My lord, the forces have reassembled and are currently on their way to search out and destroy the Jedi." Avicus smirked, nodding his head. "It's a dangerous mission, Captain. I'm sure many of your men will fall." When it came to soldiers, Sennou hated working with clones. They were too hiveminded. He enjoyed the free thought of actual soldiers. No need to raise the population of the various planets then what they needed to be.

"We'd rather die then give this planet to the Jedi, my Lord."

Absolute loyalty. Who could ask for anything more? Sennou's grin widened, and he nodded his head in approval. "Is there anything we can do for you first, my Lord?" Sennou's yellow eyes moved to Rach for a brief moment. "Yes, come pick me up at the Senate Hall. I'd love to be on the front line with you lot." With that, the datapad was turned off and put back in his pocket.

"So tell me, Mistress..." As he spoke, the distant roaring in the background became closer. A troop transport hovered over the grounds, slowly descending. Sennou looked up at the ship, cracking his knuckles. As the transport set down on the ground, Avicus began to walk towards it. He held his hand out to the pink haired Sith Master.

"Shall we take to the skies?"

Naboo - Monnik

The arrival of a vessel of such magnitude as the one now above the planet would have been hard to not notice despite the NEWS. Regardless, as soon as it entered Naboo space, the shields went up around Theed and the defense force of starfighters were immediately manned by anyone that was available to man them. Yes, many of the Jedi had gone to fight with the rest of the Forces, but they'd left some of them home. One of those people was Kamon, and he wasn't going to let any Sith takeover Naboo.

"All planetary defenses online. Shields are up. Fighters are in the air. They've commenced bombardment."

"Fire on their fighters with the anti-fighter turrets. Show them we'll fight."

"Yes, sir."

"Send a message to the rest of our forces. Let them know that Naboo is under attack. We're going to need someone to get back with a ship big enough to take on that one that's lurking out there. A few Mon Cal's would be nice."

"Yes, sir."

"And keep the fighters away from that ship, it's gonna eat them alive."

"Yes, sir."

Stepping away from that station, he moved over to where some of the commanders of the ground forces were looking over a holo-schematic of the city. Off to the side were the numbers on their defenses and Kamon sure wished that they had more. That SSD sitting up in space could hold a lot of troops and he knew they'd be hard pressed in battle. But there were some new edges to how this fight would go. For instance, the Jedi forces had acquaried two Loronar MAS-2xB's, self-propelled turbolasers. If that enemy ship got close enough, they would have something to fire back with.

"Move troops here and here. Put those MAS's here and here, the most strategic locations for them. Hopefully we'll be able to get help here as soon as possible."

All Jedi, report to the Defense Center immediately. This is not a drill. We are under attack. He called into the Force with the message and he waited for the other Jedi on Naboo to arrive. They were going to need everyone available or else it was going to be a total failure as things went. Kamon was relying on those that remained to get back and assist them as soon as possible.

Outbound Message VX-1231
Transmission Status: Urgent
Label: Code Red Emergency
Sender: Kamon Vondiranach
Location: Naboo
Message: This is an urgent warning to all Jedi that are outside of the Jedi held planets. Naboo is under attack from an SSD and its fighter compliments. Bombardment and bombing of the area around Theed and of Theed's shields has commenced. Request immediate assistance from all those available. May the Force be with us all.

Corrie, Brayden, Mason, Enset and Shakti.

It felt awkward standing amongst a crowd that were baying for the blood of those of his order.

It felt maddening. After all those days, those frustrated cries of help from his fellow Coruscanti the riots and anarchy he had anticipated on the streets of Coruscant was one incited by the Sith. He felt a fool.

A fool for not knowing better, a fool for believing that himself a chosen warrior blazing a path that led to peace for all. A fool for thinking that his methods could have even worked.

This riot, was a mere rabble. It was not anarchy against a tyrannical order. It was chaos, bloodlust gone to the head of a crowd. Searching for someone to kill, some Jedi to hunt. At that moment he almost felt like walking away from all of it.

He might have done so too, had it not been for the sudden fluctuation he had felt behind him. So far the aura of Jedi Master Corrngath was a beacon behind him, assuring and helpful. For a moment it disappeared, and Caleb almost turned to look. Then something awkward happened, he had no words to describe the change but there was most definitely a change.

He had felt it even though he was not sure what it was.

He nudged a thought towards Master Brayden.

"Master Brayden, did you feel that? What was that...it felt...felt so alien."

Korriban – Jehovah / Axelyn

Niko could feel the pure hatred rise in the Sith and it broke his heart, his coming here had opened this Sith further to the darkness. For a moment he allowed his resolve to waiver and in that moment a small crack on his mind formed. A spirit of a long dead Sith trapped in the planet below saw this opening and jumped to take advantage of the opening. Slipping into the background of Niko’s mind it hid itself and waited for its opportunity to act.

Niko felt something different inside, but thought it was nothing more than the planet itself, shaking himself he regained his control and again returned his attention to the Sith. “I will not surrender, and what is happening here is only temporary, the battle this day will be won by the light, perhaps not here, but on other fronts it will be.” Reaching out Niko used a massive Force push on the Sith, but as the Force coursed through his body it felt different. The push ended up being far more powerful than he had intended, and it felt strangely good that it might harm him. Niko tried to shake that feeling off and keep his mind on the battle.
