Being lifted off the ground, he felt pain around his trachea and as the seconds passed, he started to feel weightless and tired. The pain itself was also gradually going away, until all he could feel was a pinch from her.

As his eyes started to close, he felt peace around him. As the black enveloped around his eyes for the last time, he felt something. An emotion he hadn't felt in such a long time. A vision appeared in his mind, one that opened his eyes in a second.

Zana...

My daughter...

As his eyes blasted open, he sent a wave of energy at Sky, sending her flying back. Falling to the ground, his body reacted from the attack, but as he came too and stood up, he brushed it off.

Igniting one of his lightsabers, he cracked his neck and faced the Lordess with all the intention of stopping her. Like all the other times, it would become a battle of death.

Fidelis ignited both of his lightsabers. He would hold nothing back from this fight. He knew he had to, his opponent was skilled and dangerous. If he just for a didn't then he would be injured. He knew as well that his opponent knew the same, that anything less then all would be fatal in this fight.

" My face was burned yes, the damage could be healed with the force. But it reminds me of my mortality, of something many jedi and sith forget. We are living and can be killed. As for Julius, he is dead to me. Treat him as you will, train him how ever he wants. I hold no malice towards you for that".

His words were cut in between deflections. He dropped low and came up with his lead saber trying to cut Metran from crotch to forehead. Then twisted with his left saber to quarter him.

" The female had best stay back, this duel will be deadly and i will not have a childs blood on my hands this day".

The commlink next to Herik vibrated on the table. He opened his eyes, allowing for them to adjust to the bright lights and then looked over once more. The commlink displayed the usual sequence of colors that accompanied an urgent message. Apparently Silas found a reason to wake the bear of a man in the middle of his sleep.

Herik approached the fair haired warrior as he was tying his hair with an old string. A hologram in the middle of the room was flickering in and out. Herik could make out the form of a slender female figure with the usual Sith apparel.

"Silas," Herik nodded towards his cousin and fellow clansman. Herik redirected his attention towards the hologram. "What can Clan Beskar do for you?"

Korriban: Arumizy / Chloe

After trading blows, Arumizy's first pressing attack came in. Metran was able to divert his first attack, but was not in position to deflect the second. Although he rolled as best as he could, the Sith's saber still caught him slightly in the shoulder. His own leathers were studded and thick, which allowed the Jedi an extra second to avoid serious injury. All the same, the burn he picked up on his shoulder would be a difficult one to deal with.

Rolling back to a defensive stance, Met' tried to buy himself a few seconds. "You sound like an honorable sort. Sure you're fighting for the right flag?" With that the Jedi launched into a renewed offensive, seeking to tangle up the Sith's sabers while keeping the back blade active just in case an opening offered itself. His other option was to cut downwards should his blade get between the Sith's saber and most of his body. That rapidly became Met's desired move: if he couldn't get the Sith to retreat or surrender - which was unlikely - then he would vastly prefer to disable him as opposed to killing him.

Then there was Chloe: both Met's Achillies Heel and his Ace in the Hole. As much as he didn't wish her involved - especially given this particular Sith's stated desire to leave her be - odds were good that he wouldn't be surviving this exchange without her. Lightstaffs were an advantage against single-bladed opponents. Opponents armed such as Arumizy was could usually keep a lightstaff at bay long enough to take out the owner.

Peiori's smile stayed etched and frozen on his face as the Jedi continued to confront him. Such an odd beacon of light she was, nothing compared to his normal void of shadow, but there was definitely...Something inside her that separated her from the aura that Peiori felt initally, something that may or may not have been apparent at first. In any case, his inital non-assumption of her was best, there was more to her than met the eye, and even for a disgusting Jedi, Peiori felt that his desire to rip out her jugular veins and bathe in their bountiful ambrosia was slightly less fervent.

...If only for a moment.

"Hehehe, I offered you no indulgence to such games as spiels and turnings. I know useless trivialities when I see them, Jedi, so I will not stop you if you desire to engage me. But I do, suggest, that you step aside. For your own good."

The phrase had complete literal meaning and absolutely no figurative meaning, for at that very moment, a chaotic, flaming chunk of brimstone, a part of Peiori's own donation to the storm fell from the sky, and in a bit of randomness associated much readily with the Sith Master, was heading for the very spot where the Jedi knight stood.

"But whether you take my advice, well, that's your own prerogative. Hehehehahahaha!!"

Metran/Chloe

Fidelis spun back using his sabers as a shield. He turned and landed on one foot and a knee. He looked over at his arm where heavy leather had covered. He was singed and it felt cold to him. Both were now injured but the two of them were far from finished.
His eyes locked on the jedi. He had struck first blood but the jedi had wounded him. The jedi had much in common to the sith. He was a warrior and seemed a dreamer. He would try to convert he fool over or he would kill him.

" I fight for the right flag jedi. I believe that the only way for peace to be prevalent in the galaxy is through martial law. Coruscant is without crime, better quality of life and you jedi deem us as evil? True many of us are without honor but we would better the galaxy.

And since the return of the Mandolorians i have regained my soul. Regained my identity, recovered my family honor.
"

He lept at the jedi slashing down, the attack to off balance him and set Fidelis up for defensive action. He could tire the jedi down and not risk injuring this one. He wanted to corrupt this one, perhaps even the young female. He let a few more words out of his mouth.

" Padawan, do not believe the lies the jedi teach. Sith are evil but all in the way they describe".

Maleficus slammed his sabers against the shield and felt them just collide, the attack absorbed. He cursed silently as the saber slid through the air towards his stomach. He moved to the side, the saber slicing a small chunk from his side as he dodged. He growled and sent a force push at the Jedi's face, trying to knock his head back and distract him as he lunged, trying to stab Steanaler in the chest. Pain ran up his side from the wound, but he surpressed it as best he could.

Korriban - Remy

Hawk ploughed the lilac blade onwards through the force shield that Remy had created as his other blade locked with the piece of wood that had been imbued with Sith sorcery, slowly it sank through the shield causing Remy's hand to blister and burn. But in those precious seconds lost in his attempt to force his blade through the Sith's defense, Remy had freed up his other hand and Hawk picked up the build up of darkside energy perhaps a moment too late as it was hard to distinguish from the background darkness of Korriban.

The lilac blade disappeared from Hawk's hand in an instant, the hilt having shot back within his robes and as the yellow lightning streaked towards him he barely manage to place his palm in the way. A look of shock crossed the Master's face as the lightning struck his palm sending spasms throughout his body, he was unable to summon the power to absorb the onslaught of lightning, the pain went beyond the range of being felt but luckily Hawk's exposure to it was only brief as he was blasted backwards.

He rolled as he landed, ending up close to the rift that he had created, his face bathed in the warm light that radiated from it. With his robes slightly smouldering, Hawk pushed himself to his knees and gradually stood. He shook himself to loosen his muscles that had contracted so violently as the lightning had coursed through him, his power to heal already reviving his fried nerve endings as it continue to restore the strength and that he had poured into the rift.

The Jedi's eyes glimmered a bright and pale emerald green, almost as if they contained their very own light instead of merely reflecting it. His breathing had returned to normal and his aqua blue blade span cutting down a creature foolish enough to launch itself at him.

"This is going to be a long day." Hawk muttered.

Jumping high into the air, the Jedi Master thrust his now empty left hand towards Remy unleasing three force pushes in waves, they were not designed to harm him but instead to give him something to deal with until Hawk landed and they were once again in close quarters, Hawk didn't intend to give Remy the chance to further take advantage of his current weakened state of force power and if he could keep close to him he would soon be recovered enough to adsorb power from outside sources and further replenish his own strength.

Hawk landed in a crouch and immediately lashed out with his blade, a flourish of complex and blindingly fast strikes aimed at and around Remy's upper body. The Jedi was relentless in his attack, Remy had his style completely wrong, Hawk could stall and defend for as long as it took to wear an opponant down if he so wished, but this was no normal duel, Remy had no desire to become bogged down with him so Hawk had to bring the fight to Remy.

"You should watch the holonet more often, you'd know more about my style if you watched me win the last five tournaments of the saber." Hawk grinned, he was now in his element, warmth spreading through his body as it repaired the damage from Remy's lightning and he was now building a rhythm where each strike was designed perfectly to follow the one before and build towards the next.

"I think I could of handled things."

He turned to the Sith, who despite being severally outnumbered, even more so with the arrival of Caleb, had not backed down. He stepped towards him, reaching for his lightsabre as he did so. But, for a moment, he hesitated, and instead of clasping his own lightsabre, he curled his fingers around the one that hung beside it.

Raising the weapon, he flicked it on, the crimson blade of Sky Kerberos glowing ominously before him.

The crowd was drawing near, and reaching into as many of the leaders minds as he could, he pointed towards the Sith before him and shouted.

"SEIZE THE JEDI!"

Korriban: Arumizy / Chloe

Metran kept his staff moving, trying to keep from overworking himself while drawing Arumizy off of the padiwan. "Coruscant will be peaceful as long as it suits you. The day you decide it would serve you, the Sith will bathe the planet in blood: just like Bespin, and just like Naboo."

He began to spin his weapon in a clockwise direction, then suddenly he snapped it about and went for Arumizy's hip. If he could cripple the Sith or drive him off, it would be victory enough. Metran had to be conservative about his use of the Force: the aura of Korriban did not agree with Jedi. To draw on the Force without great care here would be to draw in the planet's taint.

Before Stean could recover from the thrust, The sith force pushed his head back. It took all of Stean's concentration to not have his neck be snapped. he pulled his head up just in time to see a saber come right at his chest. He moved slightly to the side, just enough so the saber wouldn't hit anything important. He felt the searing heat go through the small side part of his ribcage.

Stean brought his own saber high above his head, then swung it down on to the sith's arm, trying to sever it.

KORRIBAN - HAWK

Contempt had filled Remy's violet eyes as he watched Hawk suffer beneath his yellow Darkside lightning. Where is your dear Lightside now? He smirked. Then, as Hawk stood once more, the master had a feeling of what was coming. Before Remy could use Hawk's prone position to his advantage, three sucessive Force waves hit him, pushing him backward a significant distance.

The ground growled as Remy dug his heels into the hardbaked desert topsoil, crossing his arms on front of him to ward off the kinetic energy remaining. Humming slightly to remove the reverberations from his skull, he came to his senses just as Hawk moved in with his lightsaber. And it was undenyable--Hawk was significantly better than Remy with a lightsaber. Of course with his typical Jedi arrogance.

As Hawks fluid strikes slid in, Remy twirled the alchemically altered piece of wood to block them. Splinters fell from the makeshift staff after each blow of the Jedi's lightsaber. Clearly the weapon would not be lasting much longer.

"Merrough, bring me my cane and work gloves." Remy spoke through the Darkside connection he shared with a specific Sithspawn.

"Lazy." came the snide reply.

Cursing the cheeky wit developed by his creation, Remy turned his attention back upon Hawk. The master fell back in the face of his powerfully executed attacks, muttering Sith incantations under his breath. With divided concentration, the blocking he was doing against Hawk's thrusts became slower and soon lightsaber burns appeared on his finely tailored clothes. In matter of seconds, his suit jacket had fallen apart.

Just at that auspicious moment, the incantation finished and fire roared up around the master. It was not a heavy inferno but instead streams of violet flame swirling around Remy. His eyes had now become completely yellow. Though a taxing tactical move, the fire would prevent Hawk from coming too close--unless he desired the risk of burning from immensely painful Darkside fire.

Flipping backward languidly, Remy landed in a crouch and stood slowly.

Coruscant

Molior made her way up toward the surface. Though it was slow going, the Sith Master didn't seem to mind one bit. For a short time, several of the monstrosities that lurked below kept pace with her. For the most part, they were glad to have her gone. The cold and darkness that came with the human female were too much, even for denizens of the Coruscant underdark.

As she continued up, one by one they fell away, leaving her passage unhindered, going back to their depths. All but one.

What the thing may have been before it was warped by generations of darkness and sewage was a mystery. Walking on six legs, the creature shared some traits with a slice hound, others with a giant spider. Eight eyes centered on its great shaggy head seemed to reflect everything it saw back at the world.

Kith paused just before entering the maintenance tunnels many levels above the underdark. Cold stormy eyes looked back at the creature. It had paused a meter behind her, sitting for all the world like a dog waiting for a command. Reaching out with the Force, Molior mumured. "The above is no place for you. Return to the depths unless I call for you by your name."

Again, she stopped, just watching it. "I name you Aradne. Now go."

It was gone in a sudden scuttling of multiple legs, disappearing back into the depths as Molior wrenched open an access hatch.... levering herself into the maintenance tubes.

Coruscant: Enset, Hayden, possibly C'orringath, and whoever else decides to follow...

"Do you know a place we can go until we can find a way to leave your world?"

Shakti turned in surprise to Enset, and not for the first time she wished that he belonged to some race she could make proper eye contact with. She was a terrible empath, and all she had to judge his intentions were the things she saw and heard him do. If he really wanted to leave, then that meant she could get rid of him without killing him. Further, he might be able to take other Jedi with him, and that would actually make this a decent tactical choice.

Well, then, she thought. Far be it for me to stop the retreat. The fewer Jedi left here, the easier it'll be to kill the ones who won't leave.

"Yes," she replied to Enset. "I can."

"SEIZE THE JEDI!"

"Oh, shit!" The crowd surged forward, driven onward by their own frenzy and Brayden's influence. She backed off from the confrontation before her and turned to get the hell away from the mob. This certainly seemed like a good time to heed the Miraluka's request find someplace safer, so she slipped away and led Enset (and whoever decided to follow) down a side street. She wondered how many other Jedi would trust her to guide them on her own territory. Oddly enough she had been in this area before; she'd gone shopping here very recently.

"I haven't lived here long," she explained. "I just came here for my training." She looked over her shoulder apprehensively. Resolving that the Sith master behind her was no concern of hers if he couldn't take care of himself, she shook it off.

Shakti led the way to a convoluted intersection of intertwining catwalks. Here, as she'd learned in her training, she would have something of an advantage if she had to fight. Hopefully she wouldn't have to just yet, though. Not until she got a chance to grill Enset about what exactly the Jedi thought they were going to do here.

She whirled on her heel to face him. "Listen to me. We're not going any further until I know what the hell is going on. Why the f@#$ are you here? What did they tell you?"

Staggering back from the sudden and rather unexpected interrogation, the Miraluka reflexively brought his hands up into guard position for an instant before seeing that Shakti was only bringing words to bear. For now.

He turned his head to 'look' around for a brief moment, checking to see if any danger lurked about if they dallied here too long. Not terribly comforted by--but adequately satisfied by--their situation, he drew a calm breath and addressed her. "I am here because my superiors ordered me to assist the Jedi who are engaged in battle here. They seem to be outnumbered in force, which makes safety the most important thing until we can escape offworld. That is all I was told, except that this is a planet held by the Sith--they were in a hurry to get the padawans out to assist the Knights and Masters."

On the other hand, if Shakti lived here, she might have more information. "I just arrived a few minutes ago, so what I know is mostly what you have seen. Is there something else going on that I have not been told?

"...."

She stood silent for a moment. Shakti shook her head in disbelief, although she really shouldn't have been surprised. "That's it? That's it? You came to join an invasion just because they said you should?" She pressed the heel of her palm to her forehead. There was no response she could think of that wasn't incredibly insulting and condescending, but oh well. What would be would be.

"Enset? If all the other Jedi jumped off a bridge into a pit of ysalamiri, would you do it, too? F@#$! By the f@#$ing Abyss, you came here with that twice-damned dogmatic invading force to attack the place where I live and that's all you have to say for yourself?! Didn't the Jedi give you any excuses or proverbs to make everything all better again, or is everyone here just supposed to accept that you know what's best for us? That coming in and inciting riots and causing this f@#$ing chaos is all okay when you do it?"

She took a deep breath. She could feel the Force tightening and condensing around her as she shouted at the Miraluka, and Shakti knew that if she didn't stop herself she'd lose control and start breaking things without even thinking. This ranting was getting her charged up to destroy something, and she needed to find something or someone who deserved it or she'd only get more frustrated. "I thought you were smarter than that. Do they honestly have you that f@#$ing brainwashed already?"

There was a moment of pause, and one could just imagine Enset blinking confusedly behind that blindfold, though he probably did not.

"...the Jedi attacked--incited this riot?" It shouldn't have come as much of a surprise to him as it did--the man who'd shouted "Seize the Jedi!" and drawn so much of the crowd's ire had a speck of the light that he had known to come from the Jedi, but his intents were clearly not in line with the code; that much was as plain to Enset as the nose on Shakti's face in front of him.

He turned his head slightly. Enset hated when his intuition turned out to bear fruit where sensibility should have won the day--he knew, somehow, from the first day of his training, that there were those in the so-called Order who did not hold in faith the principles of the Code.

The conclusion, then, was simple. "No, the Jedi did not do this. I do not know what they are, but they are no bearers of the Jedi will and way."

That still didn't answer the question of his own mission here, though. And time was not on their side. "I came here only to save lives, to protect, to do what I can to preserve life in an uncontrollable onslaught. I was ordered to help, and in that I shall not harm. In this you have my word." He turned--something was coming, and wouldn't be long in arriving. "If you will not help me go, I will find my own way out. I am sorry that the name of my Masters has been used in this assault on your home," he apologized with the tone of an implied 'goodbye.'

He turned towards Hayden, who he'd been helping along in his weary state. "Are you well enough to run? Or shall I carry you?"

One attack, dodged almost effortlessly, would have been enough for Mikel to realize this person wasn't the average pathetic Jedi. Then the second attack being deflected, almost making the battle a work of art to Mikel. Of course, this was something of the arrogance in his mind that seemed to be present more and more. But he would have to maintain a focus on the battle ahead, and do the self examination later. It seemed like minutes passed by with nothing, No words, no attack, nothing happened.

Of course that could change at any moment, the Jedi usually trying to recruit whoever they fought. Some of them even used insults, as some Sith did too. Neither of those happened, though, at least not from the Jedi who called him a traitor. Mikel still wondered who exactly this person was. Then, after what seemed like a brief eternity, the Jedi went on the attack. Attacks that put Mikel on the defense, and kept him there.

Several fast strikes, aimed at the legs and wrist, were deflected by the blade. Yet one last of them came through, burning his leg as the defense came almost too late. After all, he was still getting used the this blade. Even a blade master can't be perfect. But the pain would be ignored, or used to fuel his strength, or brought back double against his opponent. At least that was what Mikel told himself. For now, he would stay on the defense. “The brave Jedi Knight. Facing all odds to make sure that he defends people. Or in this case, facing all odds to go on the attack. Such great Jedi, you are.”

Korriban – Axelyn / Jehovah

As the Sith slipped from his Padawan’s grip Niko felt a change in the Force around them. He could feel the two spirits of the Sith rise at the command of Jehovah. Picking his target Niko decide to remove this threat before returning to the apprentice. Generating burst of empathic and Force energy began to assault the Sith spirits, ripping them apart piece by piece with his mind. The Sith spirit responded with greater and greater anger with each burst that Niko sent, but as its anger grew its ability to resist Niko’s efforts weakened until finally it returned into the planet surface to lick its wounded pride.

Niko quickly told Axelyn in his mind how to defeat these Sith spirits and then turned his attention to the apprentice. “Maybe you should consider growing up first before you come out and play with the big boys.”

Maleficus released the saber hilt and leapt backwards, trying to escape the attack but the Jedi's blade passed through his wrist, cutting through the robotic hand and severing it completely. Maleficus growled, it didn't hurt, but it was an irritation and a disadvantage. He put one of his sabers away and pulled the remaining one from Steanaler's chest with the force and into his hand.

He smiled and pushed with the force, throwing a force strike at the Jedi's chest, right at the wound.

KORRIBAN
Niko & Axel

The Knight had made quick work of one Inferi, but his pupil was still struggling with the other. This was his opportunity to single out the overconfident Jedi.

Words were powerful weapons, but not on this battlefield. While the more powerful Sith relied on sorcery and plaguing their opponents with fear, the lesser used their lightsabers in the place of verbs. The Jedi's taunt did little to alter Jehovah's battle plan and was no doubt unworthy of a reply. Instead, he simply prepared himself to engage in the duel, turning to the opening stance he preferred.

Lightning quick movements saw him across the small gap separating them in a single moment. At the same time, the blood-colored light extended from the firmly grasped hilt and thrust forward, leading his advance like a spear. Jehovah had suffered for months on end under Molior's rigorous curriculum, expanding his understanding of the darkside while honing his skills with the Sith weapon. He called on this knowledge now, using it as a guide for both himself and his lightsaber, which was simply an extension of his body at this point. Time stood still around this small skirmish, one that no doubt would have little, if any, effect on the overall battle being fought around the two warriors. The thought did not enter Jehovah's mind that their duel meant nothing to the galaxy, because at this second, this very moment, it was all he had. And he relished it.

As Tyen laid in the maintenance center trying to rest, a sudden cold rushed through him. Something was moving: something dark and powerful. He found it hard to believe that the Sith had traced him, but no - this wasn't coming from above. Whatever it was, it was coming from the lower sectors - areas of Coruscant's undercity that nobody in their right mind would enter.

Drawing himself up and forgetting all else, Tyen walked down the accessway slowly and deliberately. The presence was in front of him: a hundred yards and closing steadily. He knelt down and settled on his heels with his saber ready in his hand. The presence came closer: 50 yards ... 30 ... 10 ...

Tyen's eyes strained in the darkness to make out what kind of being could project such a cold and menacing aura. He willed himself to remain steady - this was his destiny; the reason why he was driven down in the first place. It was best to meet it honorably.

Fidelis was only half paying attention to his opponent. A mistake he would not make again as he felt the burn. He moved his leg enough to keep the injury limited to a grazing blow. He locked his eyes back onto Metran and began to laugh. He was getting angry now.

" I was going to let you leave this planet alive Jedi. But now i do not think that is an option".

He returned the favor with a series of attacks aimed left hip, right shoulder, left forearm. His goal now was to dismember parts and incapacitate him. He wanted this jedi to feel the darkside. To force him into using the force.

The pain in his side was tremendous. luckily the heat from The lightsaber closed the wound, so he would not bleed to death. But even the adrenaline was not enough to calm the pain.

Then Steanaler felt a force push on his wound. It increased his pain ten fold. He was on the verge of passing out. He fell back with the force

Slowly the sense of failure came back To Steanaler. he was failing his fellow Jedi, the Man he was serving with. They were dying all around him. The Anger was starting to rise in Him. Very soon he found the Darkside around him feeding it, giving strength to it.

Steanaler stood up from the Ground, oblivious to the pain in his side. He would have his revenge one way or another.

Ciara

“Why would I tell you my plans for this planet? That is something for you to find out later when I do win this planet. I highly doubt that this planet will kick me off. I feel some sort of connection with it so controlling it ought to be easy.”

When she heard that this sith though that they were after this planet. Katrina couldn’t help but smirk. She would let her think that because that was exactly what the jedi had wanted. This meant that she hadn’t come here for nothing.

The planet might be against her now but that didn’t mean that the force wasn’t with her. Even with all the darkness on this planet she still could see the light. It was a faint light but still it gave her hope and that was all she needed. Losing was not an option. After all she did have a wedding to plan.

“Um, maybe fluffy bunnies will run with planet. You like bunnies right?”
