The two shot through the air, the wind feeling almost ice cold as Sennou blasted through. Rach holding onto his hand for dear life. Her body shaking, but eyes closed as she concentrated on the force around her to keep her body warm. Finally, the senate building. Sophie would know what to do. Maize would, and things would be alright she hoped.
Until a flickering of lights showed that the city had now lost power. Darkness crept up and the people were starting to get awry and the area near the senate hall was in unrest. The two landed and Rach shot through the halls as quickly as she could, searching for the dark signatures. Finally, they were face to face as she ran in. "Sophie, what the hell is going on? The blasted Jedi. They will most certainly die for this. Attacking Korriban and now here?" Rachel's eyes glowed red with such hate and anger. "What are we going to do?"

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)KORRIBAN, HAWK
Even with the battle outside, the massive amount of Jedi that had come to the surface, Mikel had not moved from what had had been doing. The Sith Master was actually seeking to learn about the Sith of the past. And the way was to go through their tombs, as odd as that sounded, and learn it from the spirits that still dwelled their. Meditation was the key, something that Mikel did a lot anyway. More Jedi landed, unknown and not cared about, and Sith showed up to fight them.
They too were mostly unknown, mostly uncared about. After all, his focus had to be on what he was doing. He kept moving, finding his way through one such tomb. Step by step, he walked until he sensed something. Well, to be honest two somethings. One thing, he turned, and saw that it was a double bladed weapon.. The edge still seemed sharp, and there was something else. Something that almost seemed to call out for him to pick it up, a presence in the darkside that was too strong for this to be a normal weapon. After looking at it for a few minutes, almost as if pondering what to do, he picked ity up and took a good look. He swung it around a few times, still slightly amazed at the call of a weapon to a person. Mikel would have to research the history of the weapon later.
Such a weapon had to belong to somebody, probably an important Sith Lord of the past. Those were thoughts for later, though. It was time to focus on the other thing that had caught his attention. The presence of a Jedi Master that he knew. Hawk Hinata. He thought as he held his newly stolen weapon, starting to make his way out of the tomb. A few minutes later, he started to run. The Sith Master wanted to be the one to destroy such a beacon of light on the planet. More minutes went by, and he exited the tomb.
”The Jedi attack? Oh the irony, eh Hawk? I thought that the Jedi were peacekeepers, not soldiers?” A quick message through the force as he soon was close enough to Hawk that he could see him in the distance. “HAWK!” The distance slowly decreased, Mikel only taking a moment to look over at the other Sith Master that was nearby. Looking back at the intended target, Mikel concentrated to try to squish a very delicate target with the force. With a quick outreach of his hand, the force would start to constrict around the delicate organs known as the kidneys.

“Ignoring your mother, now that’s not nice Katrina. I’m very disappointed in you sweetie. Not only are you a jedi but you are marring a jedi. You could do so much better but no matter soon you’ll realize your destiny.”
"Get out of my head!”
Katrina screamed out loud to nobody in particular. She couldn’t and wouldn’t believe anything that the voice told her. It had to be an illusion, her mother wasn’t a sith. She wouldn’t believe that until she proof.
“I’m your mother; I’ll never leave you alone. Now go out and fight.”
The dead were closing in fast on her and the others. She had really only thought about the sith when she thought about the battle. Katrina had completely forgot about the dead that the sith could summon. They were not hard to kill but they were a pain in the butt.
As the dead came close to her, she sliced them in half waiting for a better fight to come her way. She hadn’t come here to talk to herself or to an illusion but to distract the sith from Coursant. She hoped that their plan worked out or coming here would have been a big waste of time. Edited by: Katrina Garnier at: 7/30/07 5:00 pm

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)
In the depths he was walking through, the only light came from system monitiors. His eyes had long since adjusted, and he could make his way clearly. All the same, it was as if Tyen was entering the halls of death - or so he thought. Suddenly the ground shook and a sensation ripped through him that he had not felt before, at least not as intensely as he felt it this time. The Sith was still down here, somewhere - but they would have to wait. Finding a quiet flat space, Tyen settled into meditation to learn what happened; but when he did, his soul cried out in denial.
No ... no ... no - no - no no no NO!
He was so careful - months of planning and scheming, drilling into people the importance of what they were doing while stressing how important it was that things were done right! He had been so thorough with the insurrectionists and their leaders: don't damage beyond repair, don't injure anyone, and don't engage the military. Make a splash and run when they investigate - it would tie the Sith down to allow the Jedi to do what they had to without clashing with the local forces. He had drilled the Coruscanti thoroughly to make sure that they all understood - if they wanted change, the change would have to be clean otherwise it wouldn't be accepted by everyone. Bloodshed on all sides had to be avoided at all costs.
It never once occurred to him that he should've been drilling that into the Jedi as well.
In a heartbeat everything he tried to accomplish went down the drain even further than he was. Even if the Jedi took the day, it would have been done through a level of violence that simply wasn't acceptable. Where was the victory if, in the process, they became as bad or worse than the Sith? For so long, he couldn't stand hearing of a Sith attack because it always meant the same thing - injured people to care for and dead bodies to give rites to. Now cleaning up after the Jedi was going to mean the same thing as cleaning up after the Sith.
Tyen sat in the darkness - at the moment, the darkness was his only friend.

She heard Steph as she screamed out those words and paid no mind. Steph was crazy anyway, well, not that Ciara wasn't either. With a longing kiss, she parted from Peiori. "The force is calling us in different directions now. Fight my love with the kind of fierce passion we have. Bring me death, and we can celebrate privately later." Her hand slowly unlatching from his as she walked away. Katrina
Red-blackish colors filled the skies with flashes of lightning all over. The dead of Korriban were alive for this special occasion. It was time to be what she was, a predator. Some lone Jedi woman in her sight as she slowly drew near her. Such darkside auras around, there would be no way for her to detect another coming. Watching her as she cut down the dead for some of them only to arise again. "Jedi..." She whispered loud enough for her to hear, as her crimson eyes shone through the light fog from the lightning that flashed almost continuously. There was such a growl in her voice and the beast that has inhabited her was let loose.
"Very foolish of you, you know. Coming onto a world where even the planet is against you, not only it's patrons." She licked her lips and teeth as her eyes scoped out her body. "So succulent, and even though you are attractive, that is not what I mean. But you would look, no excuse me, taste so nicely if made the right way. But first I have to rip those pretty little limbs off of you."

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)
As the pair touched down, it seemed Rach used the inertia to shoot forward to find Sophie and Maize. Avicus, however, touched down and put his head between his knees. Never had he gone that fast through the skies before, and it took a toll upon his body. As the winds caught up with him, he was knocked forward in the violent surge of air. Kneeling on the roof of the senate building, he began to cough lightly.
It was then that the coppery taste filled his mouth. He spit on the ground before him, knowing full well that it was filled with blood. He just needed some rest, but there was no time. You're weak. Get up. He spit again, pressing his forehead to the back of his hands. Did you hear me? I said get up. If you can't do it for yourself, then do it for the Sith. Do it for Coruscant. Do it for her. A low growl escaped his as he slowly stood up. The pain that rippled through his abdomen and legs was intense, but he would fight it.
Till the day Chaos took him, he would fight it.
Sneering at himself, he stepped forward, his head held high. A small trickle of blood went down the corners of his mouth. His tongue came out, licking the crimson away. "You're pathetic." he hissed at himself. He was angry, more-so then just because they were under attack from the Jedi. He was angry because he couldn't handle the pressure, and because he didn't know his limits. Acting like that could eventually get him killed. No, he would have to build up his strength. He would have to build up his tolerance to the abuse he put himself through.
So through the dark halls he walked, eyes close and head level. He didn't need light to see, all he needed was the force. He didn't rush himself, a deep shame grew throughout him. He had failed in destroying the Jedi. He had let him escape. One more Jedi roamed Coruscant because of his arrogance. He had always been a patient killer. Perhaps that would have to change.
It was then that he heard Rach's voice. She must've been close. If that were the case, then Lord Thanatos and Mistress Maurow were close as well. Feeling the exhaustion leaving his body, the black tendrils of the force wrapped around his organs, repairing his damaged innards. The coppery taste left his mouth, but the shame never left.
As he approached the gathering of masters, Avicus kneeled humbly. Stresses were high, and he knew he was only going to make things worse. If there was one thing he hated more then anything, it was delivering bad news. Especially bad news of his own doing. His head held low, and eyes still closed, he took a deep breath.
"Lord Thanatos, Lady Maurow, and Lady Sullen..." he said lowly, announcing his arrival.

He did not ignore the pain, but rather embraced it, using the momentum from the Jedi's kick to distance himself from his opponent. Jehovah now stood several feet away, spinning his saber in his right hand. Stopping it in an underhand grip, he suddenly thrust the blade backward, then jerked it back forward with the same quickness. Behind him, a soldier fell to the ground, a hole in his neck.
The Master seemed to be indisposed, allowing Jehovah to pursue the battle in a one-on-one combat. He was trained to duel like that; it was what he enjoyed.
He knew the Padawan was facing his fears, the planet's natural darkside power eating at his thoughts, his feelings. The Jedi could not prepare their students for such evil. The temptation of the darkside was strong here.
Jehovah once again attacked the young man, this time in a much more suave manner. His movements were smoother, more precise and calculated. His gaze did not break that of the Padawan. The Sith did not need to see his surroundings, he could feel them. After all, territory was everything.
The slice was swift, his right hand bringing the red blade around with an inhuman quickness. At the same time, he brought his left hand forward, attempting to throw the Jedi off balance with a mediocre Force push.

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)Coruscant: Enset, Hayden, and a pack of others.
Shakti halted in the crowd, her Miraluka acquaintance and this boy she'd come to aid. What was she doing? "...Oh... crap." Up ahead of them was a formidable mix, the powerful auras of Jedi and Sith alike. While she knew better than anyone that Jedi and Sith could meet without killing one another, this was neither the time nor the place for such assumptions. There was going to be a battle, and if she approached she would have to turn on these Jedi.
Reaching out with one hand, she shoved away a citizen who had squeezed in between her and Hayden. If we keep going, we're going to have to fight. Each other. It was one thing for individuals to choose for themselves what to kill and why, but it was quite another to get absorbed into broader sectarian warfare and attempt to do it then.
They were Jedi, and they were the enemy. Shaking off the burden of her past failures, Shakti reminded herself that she didn't owe these Jedi anything. Enset had seemed reasonable at first, but he was still a Jedi. The other she didn't know at all, and certainly had no reason to jeopardize her safety or her allies--whether she cared much for them either--for his sake.
She cursed her own indecision. These people were her enemies. They were invading the place where she'd been safest, where she'd had her best shot at making something of herself. The Jedi felt she was evil, and they wanted to wipe out everyone who thought like she did, just to make room for their own dogmatic rule.
Steeling herself with her own resentment, Shakti decided she'd go with them. There was a Sith presence ahead, and this situation could potentially become incredibly ugly. Perhaps he would need her help, perhaps not. However, on her own she couldn't do much, and maybe having him here would make a difference. Apprehension and bitterness collected in the pit of her stomach. This wasn't a battle it seemed to her that she could win, but the only alternative was to run.
At least it won't be boring. Interesting counts for something, and if I've got to die, I may as well die interested. We'll see what happens.
Shakti burst through the crowd and found herself on the edge of an alleyway. Yes, there was a Sith here, and multiple Jedi. An older gentleman that might have been the one who led them through the fog, and two more she knew nothing about. One was... different. If there was one thing that never failed Shakti it was her sense of humor, and she had to note that there was a reason he was the most imposing and frightening Jedi for blocks.
He looks too damned pleased with himself for a Jedi standing on the brink of a slaughter... I wish I knew what he was thinking.
She could have laughed, but sometimes even Shakti had the sense to keep her mouth shut when it would get her killed. She'd have to enjoy her amusement privately.

The power of the dark side was strong here, almost overwhelming. Axelyn knew now that attacking this place, the very heart of the Sith, was a mistake. It was a fool's errand for the Jedi. They had no hope of winning when the planet itself was fighting against them.
He was satisfied when his kick made contact with his opponent's midsection, sending him flying backwards. He knew that the Sith would not be impeded for long, and readied himself for another attack. The gazes of each combatant never left the other's. The Sith charged, crimson lightsaber held in his hands, buoyed by the Force. Axelyn brought his saber to bear, and parried the blow. But as he went to counterattack, he was thrown backwards. He landed hard on his back andimmediately leapt to his feet, ignoring the sharp pain the impact had caused.
Let's see if I can make this interesting, he thought.
All around them, Jedi and Sith troopers battled. Axelyn deactivated his saber and looked around, and then used the Force to whip up a swirl of dust to block his opponent's sight line. Then, he attempted to mask his Force signature, just as Niko had taught him to. This technique had been one of the first that he had learned in his Jedi training, due to it's importance in allowing him to be recognized when he changed shape. Before the dust settled, he shifted his form into that of a Sith trooper, and immediately attempted to blend in to the chaos around them. All the while, he kept his eyes on his Sith opponent, waiting for an oppurtunity to strike.
Bye for now
Cheers

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)
As Kyp talked to the Jedi Knight, Sophia came out and invited him to join them. Alex gave a harsh insult, but one that amused Kyp more than insulted, and turned quickly, moving away. Sophia light-heartedly joked about him to herself and a moment later her friend came out half naked, looking for the robes that Sophia had obviously stolen. He shook his head and chuckled as the embarassed boy ran back inside.
"If you only do that to friends, I should probably start behaving like Alex," he quipped slightly and smirked again. "Or I'll just have you whipped. I don't want you to like me too much."
He paused, and an awkward silence fell. He looked into her eyes, virtually parallel to his as she stood higher on the ramp. "Sophia, if you come to Coruscant, you will see many things, and most of them will be bad. Some things may horrify you; the violent deeds of the Sith foremost. But perhaps there will be things that scare or scar you more. If it is necessary, I may have to use violence. And I may have to kill. I haven't done so since my return, and I don't want to; but I have had to in the past and I am certain that I will have to in the future."
He sighed. "You are going to mature far too much for my liking on this journey, I'm afraid. The most important thing for you to do is keep yourself safe. Watch, learn, and potentially help where you can; but I doubt you'd be a match in combat with the Sith Lord Maize Wayne. Some Sith are civil - but these are often worse than the psychopathic dark-siders. They will try to turn you with words. Harden your ears and your heart against the lies; you know that the dark-side manipulates, consumes and destroys. You will witness the death and the rage. You will understand why the dark-side is so dangerous."
He signalled to the ship. "You have the option to turn away now. My suggestion is that you take it; but I have this funny feeling that you're going to come along regardless." He winked and stepped past her, walking onto the ship. As he reached the main room, he paused, turning his head to glance at her. With a final smirk, he spoke again.
Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)Coruscant - Senate Hall
“Rach.” Lady Nathos’ name was spoken with the utmost relief. Her familiar presence, her familiar face. In the sea of chaotic minds, it was good to sense her sister’s. She had questions, everyone had questions... Sophie had a few of her own. Looking past the other Sith Mistress, she searched the horde of senate staff for Avicus, “Where is...”
At last Sennou appeared, moving forward through the crowd. His aura was uncharacteristically dampened. Even in light of the dour circumstances, he seemed downtrodden and weak. In times like this, Sophie found herself relying on the most basic of Sith doctrine, “We cannot succumb to hopelessness. Our hate will make us powerful.” She muttered with a nod, “I am happy you are both here.”
“Some how the Jedi terminated power in this entire district. Very soon, the Senate Hall will be fully operational once more. Our secondary generators are almost completely online.” She informed, “Repairing the grid will take time, though... and our enemies have been doing everything in their power to weaken the populace’s moral.”
“Darth Adrasteia has perceived Jedi on this planet. You have seen them as well, with your own eyes.” Sophie added. Her voice was hardly discernable above the boisterousness of the hurried staff, “Coruscant’s population is massive. If the people surrender to panic, it will be a formidable task to maintain control while fending off a direct attack. This is the Jedi’s strategy, I believe... and this cannot happen. It is absolutely imperative that we locate the Jedi insurgents and eliminate them.”
“Tell me...” She asked, “ ... at the location of the riots, what did you see? Who was responsible?”

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)"I don't know..." he confessed.
The words stung hard coming from his throat, but he choked back the feeling and continued. His eyes were still closed, his face towards the ground. "It was a Jedi I had never seen before. I was so caught up in trying to warn you that I didn't even think to get an identification on him." He sighed, but then a thought came to his mind.
Show them.
Looking up, his power drifted into the minds of the masters, going for their mind's eye. There, he reveiled the events that took place. The Jedi, and his speech. Darth Sennou's reveiling and the troops gathering. The Jedi escaping, Sennou letting him go. Eventually, the soldiers gunning down the civilians as they came after the Sith Knight. As his powers drifted out of their thoughts, he put his head down.
"He was right there in my grasp and I let him go." Anger began to boil inside of him. His yellow eyes began to burn blood red. When he found Tyen, retribution would be swift and severe. "Forgive me, Masters of the Council. My arrogance got the better of me."

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)Ciara- ALL OTHERS IN VALLEY
Peiori stared up at darkened Korriban sky, fraught with teh malice and wrath of all of the Sith masters gathered at the Valley of the Dark Lords. They were not alone, however. Jedi had finally landed, desecrating the sands of the Valley with their unworthy soles, and the Valley had responded in kind. In his very core, Peiori could feel the unrested souls of the valley rising up in protest to the Jedi presence that had graced the soil. Keeping a keen eye on the sky as he had been, Peiori noticed that fighters will still zooming in contempt of the lightning, gale winds, and the maelstrom before them. On the ground, the Sith needed no help, even against the increased, admittedly powerful, Jedi presence...
A Presence that Peiori remembered from the grim defeat at Dathomir...
The dark fire in Peiori's eyes sprang further to life as he remembered the way Hawk Hinata and his Jedi had humiliated the Sith on Dathomir, and parts of the sand under his feet turned hard into glass. Peiori's eye's narrowed as he focused on the foe inside the Valley. With Ciara, he walked closer to his destination, until he was standing on the outskirts. He stood their staring for some time, until he turned to Ciara, before she could say anything, and nodded. He let her finish her sentence of course, before replying.
"Of course, my darling. You go, and leave your mark inside the neck of any Jedi that dares to stop you...I will leave mine on the battlefield." As she left him, Peiori's eyes rolled back into their sockets, and he concentrated on the storm itself. Feeling the malice and the hatred towards the Jedi well upward inside of him, Peiori released a surplus of the energy pent up within his body, mind, and spirit and let it loose on the storm.
"I shall baptize them all in the fames of the fallen!!"
In a brilliant show of alchemy and Force manipulation, the whirlwind slicing around and stopping the Jedi advance burst into flames, while fireballs of varying sizes began to fall from the darkened clouds. This fire, born from the essence of the dark side, would continue for a short time, but would only seek to ham those associated with the light. The tombs of the valley, the Sith, and their minions would be wholly unaffected, and if struck by said fire, might feel a slight rejuvenation effect from the Dark Side itself.
Feeling his face suck in and decrepify slightly from the use of the Force, Peiori kept his position on the very outside of the valley, and waited in a type of meditation. As the flaming whirlwind posed an even greater threat to the Jedi assault, and the fire of the dark rained from the sky, Peiori Caligga, acolyte of the dark, had a twisted smile on his face, not to be removed for some time.
"We will see who is the strongest now, Jedi...We shall see..."
Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)KORRIBAN
The shower of dirt forced Jehovah back several steps, the Sith trying to block his eyes from the debris. When he regained his vision, the Padawan was no longer there. He could not help but smile. Nice trick, Jedi.
He had found his opponent earlier by using the Force, seeing that the young man had the ability to change forms. This time, however, Jehovah could not feel that presence. He wondered if the Padawan had retreated, but quickly dismissed the idea. He was among the many soldiers on the battlefield, disguised as such.
There was only one way to find his missing enemy: hack his way to him. Spinning around, Jehovah decapitated one of the soldiers of light, saving one of his own men who lay wounded on the ground. Blaster fire was directed his way, forcing the Sith into a defensive mode.
As the battle raged on, so did the storm. It was stonger now, the bloodshed and aggression in the Valley fueling the natural darkside energies. Lightning strikes were persistant, though were not destroying the battalions in the field. Suddenly, the skies turned red. Jehovah had never seen such, but felt the energies of the Sith Master who stood on the edge of the burial grounds. Soon, fire began raining down on the hordes of Jedi and their soldiers, brimstone crashing on all those who desecrated this sacred spot.
"Where are you Jedi?" he whispered under his breath, turning his attention back to the ground war.

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)Coruscant - Senate Hall
Maize was still rubbing his cheek, chagrined, when the others finally arrived. He listened as the Sith Mistresses spoke and finally wheeled on Darth Sennou, a Knight whom Maize barely knew. He didn't know many these days though, not when he'd been mostly sequestered on Coruscant.
"At least you've given us a face," Maize replied to him. "We have a face, a figure on which to base our 'wanted' signs... a poster-child to display as the one who's sought to turn the Coruscanti's lives upside down."
Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)Coruscant - Senate Hall
Sennou’s memories invaded her mind. Most of the images were difficult to behold. The throng of people were writhing in their discontent. It was not the sort of beautiful evil Sophie preferred to indulge in. This vulgar and ugly... clenched fists, popping veins, spittle flying from foul, twisted mouths.
She saw the man responsible for it all and her soul immediately lurched to slay him, but then there was an onslaught of laser fire. The civilians were slaughtered. The wounded fell and were trampled. Many were suffocated by the host of bodies in the frenzied flight. Nearly everyone perished.
Reality returned and Maize was speaking, “Yes.” Sophie spoke dimly in reply, “We will use this to our advantage. The Jedi will be blamed.” Whether or not it was the lightsiders’ fault was insignificant. They would be charged with the crime... he would be charged...
Avicus was acting so contemptuously remorseful, “We don’t need shame and regret, Sennou... we need confidence and action.” She said coolly, maintaining her control, “Darth Adrasteia’s concentration ought to be reserved. Redeem yourself and use your talents in her stead. We need to know how many Jedi are on this planet and where they are.”
Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)Sith Temple
Coruscant
Darkness.
The world around them had suddenly gone silent and still. For one long moment they were bathed in total blackness that seemed to choke the air from the room and then, suddenly they were all cast in a crimson rush of emergency lighting. The frequency that she had been communicating with the Council had gone silent, then static noise signaled the empty air. For a moment she even lost her mental alignment, as the slaughter at Korriban raged on. The Jedi there were overrun and on a suicide mission, they would not last long.
She felt disoriented coming back to the here and now, closing her eyes and tipping her head over for a moment. When she rose she seemed back to rights and spoke calmly and precise.
"The time for meditations and observation is done. Now is the time for actions and results."
If the Jedi thought that turning off the lights would rattle the cage, they were gravely mistaken. The Sith by nature and purpose were creatures of the dark. They would not weaken with it's mantle draped over them. They would flourish. The darkness would empower them, let them use its shadows to move unseen to their purposes. They would burst from every shadow with grim intent, turning the Jedi's folly into their utter obliteration.
Razielle pushed back her sleeve and opened a private channel on her comm to the Senate Hall, to Governor Wayne. She had lost communication with the Council, at large. Through Master Thanatos she would be in contact once more with the representatives from Byss as well. She relayed her plans to deploy the squadrons of the Temple guard into the streets, with orders to break up any riots, with as few casualties as possible, and special orders to exterminate any Jedi on contact. Adrasteia along with the two apprentices would travel to an older disused power station in Sector Seven. From there they could siphon power from the conjoined sectors through the old system to the massive emergency generator and have Sector One's power restored, at least long enough for Governor Wayne to formally address the people.
As she had expected, Lady Sophie Maurow answered the private channel and was in accord with the plans. As she spoke to the Sith at the Senate Hall, Razielle had a brief premonition. Her lover, Master Fenris would be arriving their also soon. She could feel the truth of it. Feel his presence drawing ever closer.. Her skin tingled with excitement as she thought of the slaughter that they would bring down upon the Jedi together..
She turned on a heel and headed for the Council Room doors. Once outside them she spoke to her apprentice Orocus and her temporary charge, Serapis. "This outage is the Jedi's cowardly attempt at creating confusion. We will use it to our advantage. Under the cover of this veil of darkness we will move and restore power to the district."
The guards were deployed. Adrasteia and the two apprentices set out for Sector Seven...

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)KORRIBAN
As the torrent of the Dark Side spun about on the world below, Metran shook his head in disbelief. One went down - the need to retrieve her was obvious, but it almost seemed like the Jedi wanted to battle the Sith on their own turf. That wasn't diversionary tactics - that was just plain nuts. Still - they weren't coming up, not through that. The Force Storm had to be broken if the Jedi could be saved at this point, and there was only one way to do that.
Even with extensive customization, the Delta Metran was flying was no match for the storm's winds. It was all he could do to keep the ship moderately level while he sought the storm center, and even that was a losing battle. He could feel the stabilizers shutting down and the drive system stalling. Add to that the periodic fireball crashing into his shields, and the ship was both taking a monstrous beating and losing both power and altitude quickly.
If Metran noticed, it didn't show. He was deep into the Force, feeling it the way it felt back in his days as a racer and fighter: don't argue, just go with the flow and openings would present themselves. Before long the ship was under limited control, and Metran was experiencing a moment of clarity. With no sensors and no targeting, all he had was the Force. He trusted it with his all and opened up cannons into what felt like the center of the storm.
He had no idea whether he was effective or just firing blindly. The Delta was heading for a mountain range not far away, and Met's control over it was limited at best. As the rocks suddenly broke into clear view, one thought flashed through the Jedi Knight's mind.
This is probably gonna hurt.Edited by: Metran Seamus at: 7/30/07 10:02 pm
Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)“We will be releasing a statement soon.” Lady Maurow had assured them.
“First, we must convene to discuss the Jedi terrorists. War is not our prerogative. Be assured, we will do everything in our power to keep the public safe.” She had continued..
“Questions! Wait please! Lady Maurow... Lord Erebos!” The hall was jam packed with a gaggle of reporters and holofeed cams that were not allowed to begin footage until the Governor was prepared to issue a formal statement. That had been the deal that they had all agreed to upon being let into the Senate.
“No questions.” Just like that, the story was over for the time being for the others.
Casey Luna: reporter extraordinaire for well paying tabloids, semi-celebrity talk show hostess of the popular Coruscanti weekly broadcast of Vibe & Vice, with Casey Luna, had no such inclination for that to be the end for her. She went by the philosophy that you could go anywhere in life, providing that you dressed sharp and carried a clipboard. Well.. In her case it was a datapad with a hidden microfeed camera that saw everything that she did, and recorded it for later. It was ingenious at avoiding detection as well.. It was what had landed her the scandalous stories that lit up the prime time channels across Coruscant and turned her little bomb of a show into the hot sheets, baby..
That had been close to an hour ago and no further report had been forth coming. To make matters worse the frelling power had gone out and it was getting stuffy in the over crowded hall. Not that she would budge if the ceiling started to burn she was going to get an exclusive one way or another..
Casey rose from her staked out spot near the Governor's doors. He wasn't coming out anytime soon and from the sounds of the ruckus on the other side of the door, she didn't want to be the one to ask him anything.. Instead she was going to start on that report..right now. She disappeared into the dimly lit ladies room, locking the door behind her. After ascertaining that she was alone, she set her datapad on the sink and aimed the camera at herself. The building might not have power, but she had a charge that would last for at least three days of this nonsense..
"Casey Luna, reporting live from within the Senate Hall. Just moments ago as you'll see on the EXCLUSIVE LIVE FEED, Lady Maurow and Lord Erebos arrived to meet with the Goverenor to discuss the recent riots and alleged attack on our beloved Coruscant."
The feed she had earlier recorded with Lady Maurow's brief statement played, then switched back to Casey who continued.
"Goverenor Wayne has yet to issue a formal statement but the mood inside the Senate is one of outrage. Recently appointed Governor Wayne
- his image flashes-
as you good people of Coruscant know, is not the wicked tyrant of doom that he is being portrayed as. In recent weeks he has brought both order and peace to the district and indeed, to all of Coruscant. The struggles after his appointment to the position of Governor were most unfortunate, but to be expected when there is any shift of power to be made.
I can assure you, residents of Coruscant, that our esteemed Governor is right this moment working on quelling the rumors of revolution and bloodshed. The Jedi terrorists at hand will not disrupt the peace and unity that we have worked so hard to achieve.
That's right folks, you heard it here first. The Jedi, Protectors of Peace have invaded our home, incited riots and violence in our streets and quite possibly are behind the VIOLENT EXPLOSIONS of the last hour, which have taken power and light away from so many of you.
From the Senate, I can only offer you these words of comfort. Do not trust the Jedi. Lock your doors and do not let them in. They seek to overtake our planet and displace our noble Governor from office! This is Casey Luna, standing by to bring you further coverage..
LIVE from the Senate...."
She shut the feed off and giggled in the darkened ladies room. Governor Wayne was most definitely going to owe her a favor.. or a few million when this was all over.. Nothing like having a Governor indebted to you..

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)
In the depths where he sat, Tyen was closer to the heart of Coruscant than anyone knew, even himself. The city, however, seemed to wish otherwise; and a flickering terminal caught his eye. The Sith were broadcasting a denouncement of the Jedi and the violence brought to Coruscant. As he watched the stream go by, the knight laughed to himself; it wasn't like he could disagree with them.
True: the Sith were a loathesome, hateful cult who mercilessly slaughtered thousands on a whim, and who used Coruscant as a punching bag while two of them argued. It was also true that the Jedi had brought direct and immediate violence to this world dispite his efforts, and people saw what was in front of them. Then there came the stream, with his face plastered across the monitor as the terrorist behind the attacks.
Tyen just laughed. Well, that's a big suprise - that's an incredible suprise! In fact, I think I'm going to roll over - and die - from that suprise.
He reached over to a control switch and turned off the monitor. There was nowhere he could go, and nothing he could possibly do. More than anything he needed a rest, and in the depths of Coruscant's infrastructure this was as good a place to do so as any. He couldn't help but be amused at the twist of fate; as long as the Sith were looking for him, his fellow Jedi would be free to move about. It was a pity that they weren't as mindful as he was; Tyen always tried to avoid serious damage or loss of civilian life. He couldn't help that the breed of Jedi they were fighting now was a more violent type. The knight just shrugged and curled up into a corner. In a curious way, they brought it on themselves.
Tomorrow, when it came, would be a new day. He knew how to survive, and how to keep from being seen. There would someday be freighters leaving Coruscant; and someday he would be on one.
If it be not tomorrow, then let it be now. If it be not now, yet will it come ... the waiting is all.

Sophia felt the mood of the group fall a lot as Kyp explained the many exploits that Sophia would have to look out for when she was in the midst of the war. Nothing Sophia had ever heard of sounded so gruesome as this war that they were about to enter, a silence filled the moment with an eerie feeling, a moment of panic filled Sophia, she grabbed Bryan, then ran up to Kyp, her jammies dragging on the ground, her comfortable shoes making her feet feel less than nice as they were almost sweating with worry.
“Bryan, I...I trust that you knew the danger and knew that we could make it out alive before you dragged me into this mess. I hope you knew the evil depths that the Sith will go to make us fall, to make our hearts as black, vile, and twisted as theirs.” She said with a hiss as she gripped the arm of the taller man. “I hope you know that your arm will be hurting before we even leave the atmosphere if you say what I think you are going to say.” She said, trying to lighten up the mood.
Feeling the arm of Bryan tense as he looked down at Sophia, his robes fluttering as the ventilation kicked in. A cooling breeze fell over the party as the moment felt as hot as magma.
“Sophie, Master Kyp, I know that if we work together we can get through the Sith without losing our moral compass, without faltering, wavering to the darkness. Without hesitation.” He said with a deep, reassuring voice as he put his arm around the shorter woman, a movement that was meant to comfort her, not to show a love interest.
“So, Master Kyp, we are ready to go, are you?” She asked as she sat back down.

Maleficus braced his shoulder against the shield bash but was thrown back into the air. He hit the ground and tumbled to his feet, leaping forward again to drop into a low stance and sweep his sabers at the Jedi's knees.
Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)
Domovoi stood watch over the meeting, silently taking in the words of each Sith assembled. He himself did not speak, just watched in poised quiet the proceedings as they unfolded. It was with contempt that he watched those who allowed their composure to slip when faced with tribulation. It was a shame to be called Sith and yet buckle under the threat of uncalm.
Suddenly a throat was cleared and Domovoi turned from his place in the doorway as silent vigil to behold the broad figure, a member of the security team, who addressed the Sith Lord.
“My lord,” the messenger began, voice booming due simply to the man’s size. “A broadcast has been made that requires your attention.”
Domovoi didn’t acknowledge the man, but received the data pad and watched as the footage rolled, as it had been publicised. A young lady, not one the Sith recognised, informed the public without the Sith’s censorship what was underway. The message, unapproved, made Monnik at first glare his displeasure at the little screen, but this soon faded as the message continued. Domovoi had at first feared that the Jedi’s infiltration had reached news broadcasts, but he was relieved that this was no message against the Sith, but rather against the sedition-breeding Jedi.
Wordless still, Domovoi returned the little screen to the messenger and waved him off. Solemn still, although things were seemingly turning towards stability once more. One could never be sure, and a resolute hand was essential in such times. The word was already out against the Jedi, but the Sith still needed to show their benevolent strength.
“A broadcast has been made,” Domovoi spoke, striding in to join the assembled Sith. “We must make ourselves known publicly, and move also out of sight. Dissent needs to be removed forcefully before it becomes more than a trivial matter, and the public needs to be formally addressed immediately.”
“Lady Maurow, see this done immediately while Lord Sennou cleanses us of the Jedi interference,” he said, claiming authority merely for the purpose of swift action.

Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)Korriban - Hawk | Remy | Ickle Goffikins
Zelazny could only watch the fight between Hawk and the Sith Master Remy Gray, lending the Jedi support through the Force while he attempted to keep the other Sith away. He took it as his duty to protect the other Jedi on this mission, even at the cost of his own life. That was what a Jedi did. While the Sith tried to further their own goals, the lightsiders looked out for each other. The bonds between the Jedi were much stronger than those between the Sith.
“HAWK!”
'I know that voice,' the Mandalorian thought as he twirled to confront the speaker. Mikel Goff - or Mikel Shanshu now, he'd heard. A fallen Jedi who was now nothing more than a lapdog to a twisted Sith Master. Worse - another former member of the Brotherhood. Treason like that could not be left unpunished. //The traitor's mine,// he sent through the Force to Hawk.
The red-armoured Jedi advanced on the Sith, drawing his crimson-bladed lightsaber and igniting it, holding it up high like a beacon. "Mikel Goff! Fight me, traitor!"
Re: Not taking it Anymore (Takeover TJC/TSC)
Fidelis spoke into his communicator for a few seconds. His orders were for his harbringers to surround the jedi ship and hold him when he crashes. He would kill the worthless thing where it landed.
He was moving with force enhanced speed towards the mountain. He could feel the familiar force signature that the man gave off. Metran, the foolish jedi he had nearly killed on Ziost when the bastard attacked his labs.
Through the force he touched towards him with his mind.
// I am coming for you jedi, it is time we finish some unfinished buissness//
