Coruscant - Tyen

A group of so-called insurgents, however, did not cheer at the Jedi's words. To believe that one could remain on a Sith planet for an extended period of time, filling the minds of the weak with their propaganda, and not to be caught, was to believe the Sith were fools. To believe that the Jedi's attack on Korriban would call upon all of their forces to defend a globe of mere sand and history was to believe that the Sith were fools. To believe that such a ludacris plan would actually work was to believe the Sith to be fools. Powerhungry, yes. Selfish, of course. Cruel and relentless, absolutely.

The Sith were many things, but fools they were not.

One of the non-cheering insurgents looked to Darth Sennou. "My lord, shall we move now?" Sennou held up his hand, holding a comm in the other. He dialed into Sophie Maurow's personal comm, a smirk on his face. "My mistress, the Jedi have reveiled their true intentions. Direct the forces to Coruscant. Our Jewel of the Galaxy is under siege." The message was short, to the point. The comm was shut down, and placed back into his pocket.

"We move."

The Sith Soldiers stripped themselves of the clothing of the commoner, drawing their blaster rifles. They did not aim at the people, they aimed at the Jedi Knight. Sennou smirked, stepping forward. "People of Coruscant, you have been lied to by this Jedi scum. We, the Sith, have defended you all against countless assaults and bombardments. True, it may not have been at this world, but we value the citizens we have under our protection, and we protect them as we do our own. Under the Sith, you are truly free. The Jedi will only subject you to true tyranny. You've seen it, across the Galaxy. Those who do not agree with their ways are slaughtered without mercy. It is what they plan to do here today. It is why they have polluted you with their lies. Try to defy them, and you will only be met with their sabers."

He paused, motioning to his soldiers. "Do the soldiers that protect these streets aim your weapons at you, even though you throw everything we have given you back in your face? No. They point their rifles at the one who tries to take your freedom from you." As he spoke, his eyes fell back on the Jedi Knight. He continued to step forward, the people parting for him.

"And as for you, my young knight?" His hand outstretched, and the dark tendrils of the force wrapped around Tyen's heart. He began to squeeze fiercely, his anger boiling. How dare he try to take this jewel from the Sith. How dare he question Sennou's way of life. How dare he put Ophelia's life in jeapordy. His sneer was harsh, his words hisses out of his lips.

"You shall be dealt with accordingly."

“Lord Monnik, Lord Monnik,” the transmitter crackled to life once more. Monnik reached across and lifted it to his lips.

“Speak,” he commanded.

“Reports are, sir, that the Jedi have made themselves present on Coruscant.”

Domovoi thought for a moment before he answered, “Copy.”

He moved over to Sophie’s side, placing a hand on her shoulder, his form caught in the holographic transmission to Darth Genocide.

“Genocide, your fleet is to front the efforts in vindicating the Jedi attack on Coruscant,” he said. “The Leviathan and the forces from Byss will meet you there to quell the disruption.”

With that, he ended the transmissions, both to Thyferra and to Korriban. With the fleets of Byss and Thyferra mobilised to defend Korriban, it would take very little time to clear the Jedi presence on Coruscant.

“The Leviathan waits, beloved,” he said, kissing Sophie’s neck and taking her arm to move from the estate quickly. Every minute saved would make suppressing the Jedi that much easier, so it was with unusual speed that they boarded the shuttle to the Star Destroyer.

“Captain,” Monnik said when they were aboard. “Change the coordinates. Head for Coruscant.”

“Very well, my lord,” the captain responded and then moved away to relay the command.

Within minutes, the stars streaked into a blur and The Leviathan, along with the fleet of Byss, shot into hyperspace, heading for Coruscant.

Coruscant

Fiora sat on his plush couch, opposite the screen on the far wall, in his manor penthouse atop the skyscraper. Adorned in a plain shirt and pants, he watched the screen with interest, knees drawn up beside him as he leant on the arm of the couch. On the screen a newswoman spoke as beside her played live footage. It seemed there was rioting in some parts of Coruscant, perhaps a result of underworld killings. Yet, that was not so. The newsreader described riots and it became clear that those involved were rising up against the government. They had served the people very well, he thought, what could explain the uprising?

Then it came, the familiar prickling of the hairs upon his neck, signifying the presence of a member of the contradictory side of the Force to the Darkness. Among the trillion souls of Coruscant, a single Jedi had caught his attention, somehow having avoided recognition until that time. His mind stared blankly at the screen, not discerning its content, but rather searching for the Jedi; trying to establish his location. Presumably the Jedi were responsible for the uprising, corrupting the otherwise content populace against the Sith rule.

As the Sith pressed hard against Tyen's organs, the Jedi pushed back against his advances. It took all his concentration, and thus it was no suprise that he fell backwards. The surpise, however, came by way of those willing to stand before the guards to catch the fallen knight.

As blasters began to fire, how many of the populace fell? Ten, twenty, thirty? Tyen had no idea as those loyal to their families formed a shield against their oppressors to get the knight below - into the Coruscant undercity and to safety.

"What - what went wrong?"

"We were betrayed. We should've expected it: the Sith have poisoned many."

Tyen gasped as he was drawn from the Dark Side enough to breathe. "How many fell?"

"No more than necessary - we knew this would happen when this all began. Don't worry Jedi: some may be taken in by the Sith's lies, but we know the truth. If we were truly free then we could've met in the open, and they would not have come tonight."

Tyen followed his guide deeper and deeper into the depths of Coruscant's infrastructure. Behind them doors were closed and welded shut, paths were changed, twisted, and turned. Tyen folded his mind in on itself and closed himself to the Force so that he could not be tracked by the Sith. They were all alike - seeking the quick and easy path, the instant solution. Sith were impatient, and it was that impatience that would ruin them in the end.

Coruscant

Her communications with Byss and Korriban were still opened, they had been now joined by the Governor of Thyferra. The forces of the Sith were ready to combat the insurrection of the Jedi. Any attack by them would be met with failure. The Sith were aware of their pitiful attempts at reclaiming a bit of their dignity, along with their Temple..

"They are here.." Adrasteia smiled.

The fools had brought the fight to the doorstep of the Governor of Coruscant. A tactical mistake on their part, and one that they would pay for in a display of crushing strength that would blot out their Light with an an eclipse of Darkness. The Sith would always remember this day, so too would the Jedi.. It would be known as a massacre. Adrasteia had seen it..

To the Council she spoke softly, without mirth. "Let them come, they will be crushed."

Fidelis nodded at master and made haste towards his the communications chamber. He send a coded transmission to his garrison commander on Ziost. He waitted for several minutes for the reply to come. The message was an aknowledgement and an estimated Time. He looked at the time and clenched his fist. It would be a good while before they would arrive.

" Lord Maleficus my men are preparing as we speak. It is going to be around five hours before their arrival. ".

He had his men from the barracks and began to set up an outter perimiter. Taking charge of sith soldiers and Harbringers alike. He took the enigneers and began emplacing mines, and tank ditches. As well as several pits filled with a caustic tar that could be ignited. Most of his men were dug in with machine gun positions and a few Anti Air and Anti Tank emplacements were in place. He had to little equipment for a good defense but he would help them hold.

" " Lord Maleficus if you have any troops to send my way i suggest you do it. I have to few from my garrison and the temples to make a long winded holding. ". Fidelis had his armor brought to him in his emplacement. He snaooed on the old mando armor and checked the scope on his riffle. Today as he had become accustomed to he would be a riffle man until he could engage the enemy in hand to hand.

“I haven’t even been able to study today!” Rang the voice of Sophia as she voiced herself against the young man who was trying to get her out of the bed, Bryan had become something of a brother to the young woman while she had been spending her days in the Jedi Temple, he was her roommate, and he had shown himself to be more than just a roommate, he even seemed to be a friend to Sophia, and that was something she seemed to like about people.

“Sophia, we must go! We shall take Coruscant!”
Rang the young man. His deep voice almost sounded eerie as it silhouetted against the deep walls of the dorm. He was more of the warrior type as Sophia, clearly being a pacifist, a hippie, and a plant lover tried to take the more subtle root to solving a problem, as they were together it seemed like they watched out for each other, almost as though they were a pair. Some of the patrons of the Temple called them a couple, and for a night they were, there was a night of passion between the two of them, but they both scoffed it as a night of drunken stupidity (Sophia has never taken a drink of anything in her life). But nonetheless she agreed, afraid to tell him her true feelings toward him, for one it would be a direct violation of the Code, and two she knew he did not feel the same way about her.

“You know I would never kill anything in my life, I love all life, it is something to be cherished, not destroyed. And I think that the Jedi who kill because someone does not have the same ideals as them are as bad as the Sith they kill.” She protested as she got out of her bed, her nightclothes dragged across the floor as the flower print shirt was tucked into the same type of baggy pants.

“Sophie! You know I wouldn’t kill a nasty Sith!”
He quipped back as he grabbed her and his backpack, heading out the door he yelled back,

“I put your books in my bag!”
He laughed as she could see him stroll down the hall, laughing.

“Sometimes I hate him.”
She said as she wiped the sleep from her eyes and slipped on some shoes and took off after him, still in her night clothes.

High in the mountain range Declan had been climbing experimenting with his new found Force techniques, and simply trying to blow off some steam. As he reached out to grab a rock his mind filled with orders to meet in the Academy hall. As his mind returned to his own body Declan had to quickly brace himself to stop from falling. ‘That was close’ he thought as he quickly made his way down the cliff side.

Once on the ground Declan opened a com link to his Master Darth Terace. “Master I feel them approaching where am I needed?”

Coruscant

During the particularly disciplinary incident that occurred in the streets of Coruscant, the one that involved the beginnings of the Jedi offensive there, along with an uprising of the people (one that was getting to a rather rocky start) one of the belligerents, lent his voice to their cries and then faded away into the crowd. This belligerent, a middle-aged looking man sporting a patch over his left eye, rather than subject himself to the overall violence of the collective mob, simply moved away to a less-regulated part of the planet. Amidst the groups of similar citizens, this one seemed to blend, until he disappeared...

C'orringath Ven'traas remained crouched, behind a barricade of trash cans and crates, shivering and shaking from a source other than the weather. The Jedi master had found his way onto the planet of the Sith as a common refugee, one that had been shown completely void of any Force potential, a sad man in his mid forties or fifties that just wanted a new life in the bustling berg. Now the master stood there, in that alley, focusing all of his will back to that which he had sealed. Rather than simply suppress his Force signature, C'orringath had effectively separated himself from the Force. Not a complete severance, no, of course not, but a type of mental insulation to make sure he didn't pull too much from the ethereal realm at one time. Now, he was tearing down that insulation, letting the Force flow back to him, but it would not be easy....

In a strange mental-meditative ritual similar to that of an autoimmune disease, C'orringath was mentally breaking down his own mental defenses to allow the Force to flow back into him; it came first as a trickle, then a sort of tributary, and now he was working on a final layer, the layer that would send him back to the lightside completely.... But he had to be careful. Too much diving into the Force so suddenly after a small cutoff would attract anyone paying attention to the ether, but perhaps Tyen's diversion would be, in any case, diverting.

C'orringath's body continued to shake and convulse lightly, like a sick person, as his body reflected the mental and spiritual state he was putting himself through to reestablish his connection to the Force properly. Such a state meant that, for the moment, C'orringath was not in the best place to be found, but he continued to percervere...He could feel it.

Almost there... He said to himself, slowly. Then it clicked. Like an open floodgate, the Force came roaring back into his being, revitalizing him and awakening his senses in a sort of catharsis that was not often repeatable. Sighing satisfyingly, the master cut his enjoyment short and reduced his Force signature as much as possible; there still was a chance that something less than desirable was on its way. Brandishing his cane as a part of the costume, and walking like an injured, but movable and proud man (as much as the middle age mustache and beard would allow), C'orringath moved away from the ally and towards another part of the city. For the moment, Tyen was on his own, but soon, others like C'orringath would play their part.

The battle for Coruscant had begun.

Korriban

Looking over the almost dead surface of the planet below from his stealth raider Niko felt sick from the sheer darkness that was emanating from the planet. Even in space Niko could feel it crawling on his skin. Fortifying his mind Niko turned to look at his soldiers. Most where recruits from the Jedi army, brave men and women that had joined the Jedi to fight where they were needed against the darkness. These soldiers were not Force sensitive but where trained by Jedi to resist many of the attacks that they would face against those that were. Since they were deaf to the Force they wouldn’t be as susceptible to the lure of the Darkside that was present on the surface below. Unfortunately Niko knew that most of them wouldn’t survive this mission, they knew the danger when they volunteered, and Niko would do his best to insure that each death was not in vain.

Reaching out with the Force Niko made contact with Steanaler’s mind, he knew any attempt to use the conventional communications would lead the Sith pilots right to the stealth ship, luckily Niko wasn’t limited to such devices. “We are in position and ready to attack our assigned targets. We need you to punch a hole in the Sith shields before we can begin our landing. We are standing by.”

Hyperspace

Hyperspace was quiet. The ship’s engines whirled so swiftly, the only sound they made resembled a soft-sighing breeze. It was a terrible environment to be left in with anger or fear. Sophie stood on the deck of the Leviathan before the glass-wall window. Through the clear pane, the heavens had been stretched into steaming blue lights. Darth Sennou left a voice message on her comm. She had received it before Sith intelligence confessed the Jedi’s twisted deception.

... My mistress, the Jedi have revealed their true intentions. Direct the forces to Coruscant. Our Jewel of the Galaxy is under siege ...

“...our jewel...” She hushed quietly, repeating the memory. Her fingers stroked the communicator in a lost and mindless manner, “ ... our jewel..” Sophie sighed again.

Korriban was a defendable target. There were enough dark spirits haunting that world to send the Jedi into the dank maw of oblivion. Coruscant, however, was a fragile possession. It was porcelain. It was precious. Sophie was fortunate Domovoi took the reigns when the news came. She had found herself mute and motionless... Not Coruscant... not Coruscant... Her mind had chanted over and over. Perhaps if she prayed the words enough, reality would cease to be real.

Coruscant was the keystone to the next age of the Sith. That planet would launch a new life for all. There would be faultless order. There would be peace. Excess would be eliminated, talents would be nurtured and beautiful harmony would be realized; every organism in its proper place. The Jedi did not understand this... the refused to understand... they were incapable of understanding. Their blind, senseless, warped ideas of liberty had unleashed war on the Galaxy’s jewel.

“Idiots!” Sophie whispered hotly, holding her hands to her eyes. In truth she wanted to sob, “Senseless, sightless fools.” The sighed words trembled. She had to get a hold of herself. It was imperative that she stand strong and swathed herself in control.

Rober was on-world... Ophelia was with him, benefiting from the gifted tutor and the university... Sophie wanted to sob.

The planet was angry, the clouds swirled around above the heads of the Sith. Cold winds blew, howling and whispering, a dull roar on the horizon. The top layer of light sand was whipped away, revealing the black dirt, the hard, dark soil of the valley. The spirits, their dark, empty eyes looking to the sky, whispered to each other. The beasts roared and screeched, sensing the storm and what it meant.

Maleficus left the valley, the roaring of the storm growing as he made his way back to the temple. Lightning struck the highest tower, flashing like the slashes of light the planetary defences made as they fired into the sky. Above them, above the thick cloud, a battle raged fiercly. Maleficus was impatient, he wanted them to land so they could feel his fury.

He pulled out his comm and spoke to Terace, "fire everything we have up at them, they're sitting ducks until they land."

Fidelis's jaw dropped as he heard the news of the feint. His men were on route towards Korriban and now they needed rerouted to Coruscant. Fidelis knelt down and grabbed his jaw placing it back and tightening the screws more firmly. He turned the closest soldier he could find.

Get me a damned radio, you have thirty seconds to do so. You prepare my ships for take off, find another sith who needs a lift".

When Fidelis received the radio he gave the message over it. Commander Rabin replied, his forces now enroute to Coruscant. ETA was 4 galatic standard hours, now he had to get his happy arse to Coruscant and kill some jedi. The fools were endangering the bastion of peace the sith had created. Peace, was there, crime was gone. Could the jedi not see that life had improved on all sith worlds. The hungry were no longer hungry, no more homeless.

He knelt down beside his ship, it was made for short ranged dog fights not long range travel. He had to find a larger vessel to hop a ride with. Only one ship would do it, but could he reach it.

" This is Darth Fidelis, i need transport for me and the few men to Coruscant. My main bulk will arive there later but i am sending them directly from Ziost. ".

During the Jedi's escape, Sennou gave no pursuit. Flee like the coward you are... I'll find you. If it takes me searching the entire bloody galaxy, I'll find you... The gathering of insurgents were brought in a small group, placed upon their knees. A group of soldiers had them surrounded, the others starting a fire and throwing the bodies upon the flames. The smell of burning flesh and hair crept into Darth Sennou's nostrils as he sneered.

Putting a cigarette between his lips, he sparked it. Taking a long drag, his demeanor seemed to change. His rage cooled, his mannerisms much more collected. "You are all placed under arrest for crimes aghainst the Sith Council. I will personally see to it that your families suffer horribly for this. Pray that in your next life, you make wiser decisions." With that, he walked off. The soldiers lifted their guns and walked off as well.

The insurgents, confused, stood to their feet. Multiple snaps and hisses could be heard as the remaining group was torn apart by a flurry of flying white, red, and cyan blades. As the body parts fell to the ground, the blades deactivated, and flew back to Darth Sennou. He snapped the hilts to his belt, running a hand through his hair. A sigh escaped his nostrils. So it would seem.

The Battle for Coruscant had begun.

"What shall I report back, my lord?" Yellow eyes looked to the man as he took another drag off of the smoke. His gaze moved to the soldiers cleaning up his mess. The smoke rolled out of his nostrils before he replied. "Tell them that Coruscant is under attack. Be on the lookout for any Jedi that have also infiltrated the planet." The man bowed accordingly, walking off.

Sennou took another drag off of his smoke, taking to the skies. The wind moved past him, and his eyes were closed. He was troubled. It was a deceptive move from the Jedi, to go for Korriban just as a distraction. As his feet touched the roof of a nearby building, he looked out at the planet. This was his second home compared to Ziost. He had much invested here, and had already made many memories as well.

He would defend it with a passion that hadn't beat through him before.

It was then that the thoughts of passion made him think of Sophie. He felt her sorrow through the distance, he frowned. Taking a drag off of the cigarette, he closed his eyes, looking up at the sky. I feel your worries from across the galaxy, my goddess. I shall make the Jedi suffer for your pains. Shall I take your daughter off of the planet?

His words whispered across the force, but would she listen?

A voice reached out through the excruciating quiet. The sound alone was a welcome respite from Sophie’s dread-laden thoughts. Anything but fear... anything but the diatribe of her ailing mind. She wanted Coruscant preserved, she wanted her daughter safe in her arms and she wanted to scream her desires. She could not, however. The Leviathan was operated by a crew of clones and men. The Sith leaders had to remain cold and calm in the wake of any internal fire-storm.

...I feel your worries from across the galaxy, my goddess. I shall make the Jedi suffer for your pains. Shall I take your daughter off of the planet? ...

“Sennou.” She breathed his name to the wild lines of starlight. Immediately, her heart broke open and its whispers poured forth, “Yes, save her... yes... take her away.” Sophie’s eyes glazed over with salt tears. Her mind was weaving cruel fantasies; blaster fire falling from the skies, buildings tumbling and dusty-golden curls in cragged drifts of rubble.

“Oh, Gods.” She bit her lip hard to stop it from shaking. Arms folded, her hands clenched her elbows with a vice-like grip. “She has done nothing. She is not a player in the Force war. How dare the Jedi inflict this upon her... how dare...”

Sophie commanded herself to exhale and settle. Her throat was burning, arching to sing with out with weeping, “I love her... I love her.” The chant was low and her voice was withering. She knew all too well that the enemy would fire on any rogue craft that ascended through Coruscant’s atmosphere. It was safer to remain than to flee.

“Too dangerous.” She spoke again, confident now. Her spirit stretched out to the faraway Sith Lord and she let him taste her silver-sleek malice, “Too dangerous while the Jedi survive.”

“Indeed they will suffer, Sennou.” Sophie spoke again, these words like every other crossing lightyears through the Force, “They will suffer and they will die.”

Coruscant

Rach just watched in the shadows, as the Jedi spit out his lies. Telling the people of Coruscant how much better of a life they could have. How they were under such oppressed rule and they would be killed. For that was hardly the case, as since the planet had been taken, families were more than welcome to stay and really not a drop of blood was shed. Until he came. That Jedi making it seem as if they could get something better with him. In her eyes, those that wanted the Jedi rule would want to live their lives out in an emotionless prison. She could remember her days, her heart hurting as it held in all the emotion she wanted to share. Then Mistress Kass and her husband Bane Nathos, showing her the true light, the true freedom.

As the uprising started, blaster bolts flew everywhere. Rach's luminous pink blade shot to life, deflecting all the bolts that came her way. People now noticing her presence as she moved forward into the crowd. Those that knew her well backed off as her eyes turned a more crimson hue. Darth Sennou now moving fast as he cut most down one by one. The knight had much potential, and was a killing machine. His abilities much more pronounced since the two had last met on Endor whilst her husband were still alive. One insurgent now firing at her, the saber deflected the bolt, but nothing would save him from her wrath. Her hand reaching out as an invisible hand just clenched onto his head, well his brain. Stopping all the blood flow, his body shaking now as his eyes then moved to the back of his head. Labored breathing now slowly stopping as his body gave out to the ground under him.

Rachel's voice loud and clear now, and could be heard by ear or through the force. "People of Coruscant. Our time here on your planet, the Government's time on this planet has been peaceful up until now. We have not hurt, nor attacked you. But this Jedi comes in, and starts a war. Yes, they are the ones that bring bloodshed with their such righteous ways. Telling those that what they have isn't enough. That they could have better." Her tone now becoming darker as words became more harsh. "You did have better, and those following the Jedi be ready for the storm. It will not be pretty." She now conceded her words. The battle had begun and she was ready to fight.

She was right.

Taking the child off of the planet was a huge risk. The Force knew how many ships were within orbit, just waiting to launch a volley of laser fire to any ship that tried to escape. His frown grew as he took another drag off of the cigarette. As the smoke left his nostrils, he bowed his head. Indeed they shall, Mistress. I wait for your arrival, then. May the Dark Side be with you. May the Dark Side be with us all.

With that, he walked over the side of the building, gravity taking a hold of him and dragging him down. As he descended, the words of Rach Sullen drifted into his mind. Stirring words from a strong Sith Master. She had been there when he confronted the Jedi, or so it would seem. He only caught a glimpse of her presence during his departure to the roof. Was she still there? It would seem that way.

As he came closer to the ground, the air became thicker beneath him, slowing his descent. Yellow eyes closed as blue hair flapped around him. His cloak blew off of him, showing his skin tight shirt and black pants. His black boots made soft thuds as they connected with the ground. He landed before Rach and did something he never thought he'd find himself doing.

He kneeled before her.

"Powerful words, Mistress Sullen." he said, his blue hair falling around him. Yellow eyes looked up to her, his face not giving off any show of emotion. So much had changed since they last met. He brushed a few stray hairs from his vision as he looked down to the ground again. "I will accompany you, wherever you choose to go." As he spoke, his words became barely a whisper.

"If you'll have me, that is."

Brayden gazed upon the Coruscant cityscape, and at the smoke and flames that now plagued it. He had often said, that the old ways of the Jedi were lost, that they could no longer sit back and defend whilst they were attacked time and time again by the Sith.

But plunging Coruscant into civil war, was not the approach he had had in mind. Though perhaps, this could be the first step in shaping the Jedi Council, so as it was prepared for the future, so it could fight this war as it must, and not sacrifice lives for the sake of ancient traditions.

He turned his gaze to where are small fire fight had erupted between Sith guard and local uprises across a small walkway, and with minimal effort managed to use the force to activate a thermal detonator carried by one of the Sith guards. The explosion incinerated those close enough to it's blast point, several more had to endure the long fall to the planets surface as the force of the blast knocked them off the walkway.

He turned back, and moved off in the opposite direction, seeking out other Jedi.

She bowed her head in respect to the knight and placed her hand onto this shoulder. "Please arise, I hate all those kinds of pleasantries being made around me," as she helped the blue-haired knight off of his feet. "We must organize. Get in touch with Darth Cazador and those at the temple if they already don't know what is transpiring here." As she started walking quickly towards the temple.

"Our numbers must increase. We also have to get in touch with Mistress Maurow and Korriban. See if the others know. This will be a fight to end all fights, and I don't want any Jedi left alive when we're done." Her emotions at a high as she stormed off quickly with Sennou at her side. Why would they attack now? It had been a long time but their tactics of taking the planet were more Sith-like than Jedi. Even when she was a Jedi with the Brotherhood, they were fighters, arbiters of the force. But they'd never stooped to this sneaky level of infiltrating a planet. If the people were upset and complaining, they would have known. It's just when someone tells them they could have better, that's where problems then arise.

She was to make sure the problem and the Jedi, were to be eradicated, and as quickly as time would allow.

"Of course." he said lightly, getting back on his feet. As he walked with her, he couldn't help but admire her. Her prestige was worthy of much praise, to say the least. He took one last drag off of the cigarette, flicking it off to the side. With a snap of his fingers, the remaining paper and tobacco combusted into a small cloud of smoke and ash. His attention turned back to Rach as he cracked his knuckles.

"Mistress Maurow is on her way to Coruscant as we speak. The Mistress and Darth Monnik are aboard the Leviathan and in hyperspace en route to assist us." He plled out another cigarette, not lighting it as he merely kept it between his lips. "As for Korriban..." The knight's words came out in a hiss. However, it was only for a moment. The fate of Coruscant was more important then his distaste for the old planet of the Dark Sith Order.

"I fear they have enough problems trying to repel the first deceptive assault the Jedi brought to the planet. However, I assume that Mistress Maurow has informed the fleet of the true intentions of the Jedi and has ordered a bulk of the fleet to Coruscant instead." Finally, he sparked the cigarette, taking a long drag. The smoke blew out of his nostrils and his attention was turned again to Rach.

"As for Lord Cazador, he's some distance away. I think it would be in our best interest to get him before we go to the Council." With that, he held out his hand. Yellow eyes connected with hers, as he took another drag off of the cigarette. How he loved to smoke, but for now, he was more focused on defending the planet and the people he cared about. The plume of smoke was blown from his lips before he spoke.

"Shall we ride the winds?"

Korriban- Peiori

Quietly, she came behind him. Her hands slinking around his sides as she pulled him into her warmth. So he could feel her heartbeat against him. This is what truly brought the two together, war and bloodshed. She closed her eyes as lips caressed his neck up to his jawline.

"My love, my dark angel. Tonight I pray that we will feast on the flesh of the Jedi and indulge ourselves in the drink of their blood. For their foolishness will be our triumph. Don't you agree?" Her head nestling close to his neck as she let the bond they had, their love, wrap around him making the both of them stronger.

<Yes Niko, we have already begun>

Steanaler sent back a thought message to Niko. The plan was working, the sith seemed to have been caught off gaurd. Now if Stean could hold the sith here.

Suddenly the bomaberment on the ships became heavier. But they would hold, they must hold.

" Captian, revert your firepower on the shields in the vally and at the temple, we have to blow those things sky high."

" Yes sir."

Suddenly a the lasers reverted to a single spot on the planet. There were so many giant lasers, that they looked like they were only one . There was no way the sheilds on the planet could take this for very long.

Stean closed his eyes and sent a thought back to Niko
<Get ready to get in their as soon as the sheilds are down. I dont know how long the opportunity will last. Once you've esablished a forward command center i will send you down all the renforcemnts i can.>

it wouldn't be much, but right now that wasn't what concerned Stean. He felt through the force, a huge surge from the darkside. As if hundereds of dark voices had cried out and were against them. Force help them.

A chime called Darth Animus to his console. "Yes?"

"My lord: the insurrectionists have become active. We have riots breaking out all over the planet. Lord Sennou has moved against their ringleader and the primary group."

Animus nodded. "Have the precautions I ordered been established?"

"Yes, My lord. The shield installations have had their security redoubled, martial law has been re-instated, and our defenses are on full alert."

"What do we have in orbit right now?"

"The five Vanguard ships, the Griffin, the Chimera, and the Raven. All ships are on full alert."

"Thank you."

Animus stepped away and looked out over the planet. There was an absence of the traffic that was the trademark of the city-world. He leaned against the window and sighed heavily; their past was coming back to haunt them. Why? Why didn't the Sith Council act more resolutely before Coruscant suffered? If only one percent of the planet rebelled, they would be facing legions.

For all their retoric, they wouldn't be able to cover the truth: the Jedi were right. Coruscant suffered for months, and was strangled and starved because one Sith turned against the decision of the group and the group did nothing. That whole business with Emryc was now biting them, and once again it was his job to mop up.

Animus sighed and turned back to his desk. One crisis at a time, one day at a time - no sense in getting ahead of himself.

Korriban

The air on Korriban was tense. Though combat in the skies had begun to flourish, the Jedi had not yet landed on the dread-worlds surface. Those Sith who were not prone to manning the helm of a starfighter stood restless and with each passing moment, knowing that they had been deceived of the lightsiders true intentions, there grew a heated desire amongst them. To think that the Jedi had come to Korriban was laughable but now knowing as they did that this attack was merely a ruse, the assault was liable to stir their ardent fire even further. If any among the Jedi lived to see tomorrow, it would be a day in which they were grief-stricken by the deaths of those who had been sent to Korriban to distract the Sith, little more than cannon fodder, lambs before the slaughter.

As the insurrectionists moved in the darkness, Tyen quietly prayed that they kept to their instructions: hit and run. They were not to stand up to the Sith or the planetary guard: just create distractions and disruptions then scamper away before the troops arrive to act elsewhere. To do anything more would be a sensless waste of life.

The rebellion was about getting the Sith looking everywhere - it was part of what made Tyen's message so inviting. He never asked that anyone die for their cause, nor did he ask them to kill. Disrupt, forment chaos, keep the troops busy, and don't risk your lives. The real work belonged to the Jedi.

As he continued in the darkness, the knight lamented those who died. It was the Sith way to kill and kill in great numbers. There seemed to be nothing he could do about it: not on Bespin, not on Naboo, and not on Coruscant. Maybe that was the way it had to be in this galaxy - but if that were true, maybe he was better off stranded beyond the Outer Rim.
