Re: Myrkr
Mykyr was a black hole. It wasn't a case of a hydro-spanner in the works, someone had thrown the whole tool box in there. Even on ground level, Salem Ave could tell this – but things were slowly getting better. With support from the 382nd Armored Regiment, the infantry of the 221st Imperial Land Team were rapidly approaching the besieging city. Drawing up at the rear, in a pincer motion that would squeeze the life out of the opposing insurgent forces, the army was making good progress. A number of lumbering, largely out-of-date, AT-AP Walkers made plodding advance, surrounded by the remaining Stormtrooper company. The foot-soldiers followed, through the trees felled by the walkers lumbering strides, Salem amongst them.
Communications between the city itself and the advancing infantry were limited, but one thing was understood – the AT-AP Walkers were to begin their bombardment at the next signal. They were to lay down heavy fire, bombarding the enemy and allow the still-advancing army an immediate advantage over their opponents. The men of the 221st had seen little more than skirmishes so far and, separated from the rest of their battalion, were eager to see some real action. They were bristling with anticipation, and the long trek through the jungle had only fueled their anger.
It wouldn't be long before they got what they wanted.

Re: Myrkr"High Admiral Aurulius, focus on crippling the engines of the incoming fleet, not destroying it. You still have ample time to do so. Whatever its intent, that fleet must not be allowed to reach the Third Fleet."
Something in the way that Drake said the command, there was something else in his voice. There seemed to be some unknown hatred, or maybe Aurulius was just overthinking things. A nod to himself, he took a look around as he thought about the best way to get things done. One ship, that was all that he had commanded before. And the High Admiral had done as well as could be expected.
But a thought ran through his head. The battlegroup that had come in with them. He had to give them orders. The Super Star Destroyer was out of commission, so that left the two Star Destroyers that had come in as escort. Neither were damaged, and that meant they would work well to help him complete the orders. Quickly he turned to one of the officers, a grin on his face.
“What would you say is the easiest way to take a ship out of combat?”
“Easy, sir, you go after their engines. Even the High Admiral himself said that.” Aurulius turned and nodded, the grin still on his face.
“I would like you to lead the attack on their ships. You shall have some help. And I sure hope you know how to fly a TIE bomber, Lt.” The High Admiral was obviously trying to think of what thehis person's name was. He heard a light chuckle, then he turned to see the officer with a wide grin.
“Captain. It's Captain, sir. Captain Disra to be precise.”
Aurulius almost wanted to laugh at the irony. Another Disra in the navy? Who would have guessed? The High Admiral nodded, the grin leaving and a neutral expression on his face. “Alright, Captain Disra, would are going out there with some TIE.” He said as the situation changed right before his eyes.
“You'll see some Imperial ships that are loading some marines onto those rebel ships. They are to be protected, which means that you can stay out of the bomber. TIE intercepters, those will definitely suffice.” With that, he turned to the communications officer.
“Send a message to the two Star Destroyers that accompanied Grand Admiral Blue's flagship. Tell them to aid in the destruction of the rebel fleet. Anything that isn't stopped should be stopped through their ion cannons and TIE. And make sure they take care of that Super Star Destroyer that seems to be helping the outlaw scum.” Everything was going according to plan, or at least hopefully it would. If it didn't, then Aurulius would make a plan based on the changes. But it didn't matter. High Admiral Pollard didn't lose.
Re: Myrkr
Colbs didnt hear Kanes direct order but acted anyways. Starting at a trot, advancing to an allout run he approched the gate. Sniper beams and blaster bolts rained down all around him. One of them glanced his leg. The pain was intense but gave him focus. He started zig-zagging, evasive manuevers. Using his wrist blaster colbs layed down a hail of fire. With his other arm he flung two anti-tank adhesive mines at the gates.
They landed squarely sticking. His leg was screaming in pain. He ignored it for then. A burst of rockets brought him up over the gate onto the wal. Whirling around, a jet of liquid flame flowed forth from his guantlet. The fire splashed accross the soldiers, turning the wall tops into an inferno from which the storm troopers burned in. A raging hell. He made a jump, landing in crouch behind the gates as he hit the dtenator and assumed the fetal possition.
The blast was intense. The gate lit up in a scarlet lotus shaped blast and the shockwave hurled him ten meters forward. Laying sprawled on his back, leg armor smoking, he activated his helmet COMM.
"Colbs to outlaws, Ive taken down the gates, Im wounded right now, going in to hiding. Ill be along shortly after I tend my wounds."
He roled over and began the long crawl towards an empty house....

Re: MyrkrThe Gates of Hyllyard City Inside the Hyllyard City Defense Command Center........
The collection of loner snipers where being dealt with in accordance with the time, Tyriq didn’t even feel threaten by their attacks as they where brazen, and they called shots at the worst possible time. They weren’t elites, they where at best amateurs, rookies who where told that the mission to wipe the Imp’s out as they call them was an easy one. They where told that this would be a walk in the park. Look at their forces now…lying dead in their carefully chosen sniper positions. He recovered from his position without a single scratch. He helped up his doc and looked over at his recovering SgtMaj. They looked at each other with some disgust, if this was the major attack planned for them, it simply sucked. He stepped on broken glass as he signaled for comms to start up a transmission to the command center at the main gate.
“Lieutenant Calrissian to forward command.” He said as he paced slowly back and forth with his index finger on his ear. “Go ahead Lieutenant.” A voice said as Tyriq looked at his SgtMaj again and spoke. “Where is this enemy force you promised me?” Nothing was heard on the other end as he waited for a slow response from his command. “Negative Lieutenant, it would seem that they have changed tactics on us.” Tyriq kicked a chair as his thoughts of a fight with a battalion size unit went out the window. God how he wanted to show off his skills this day, and these weak excuses for special forces where making him chase them! “Any word on what I can expect for my next engagement command?” Now he hated being inside of the command post, with nothing to do and crackpot snipers trying to prove themselves by taking half hearted shots at him.
“Intel is coming in slowly Lieutenant, your orders are to hold that gun under any and all…”“Yeah Yeah Yeah…” Tyriq said as he cut the controller off. “…all cost.” He cut the transmission off as he walked back over to the window. He gazed out from the bullet ridden position as he didn’t see a single solitary sniper in sight. Walking back to the rear of the center he began to issues orders to his men outside. They where under instructions to hold their positions, and a true solider, no a true commando doesn’t disobey orders. “This sucks.” He said to himself as he slammed his fist down on an already destroyed console, at the same time the massive gun fire off a round giving the effect he was the one to set it off. The simultaneous action jolted the men in the room as they again began to realize just how war crazy Tyriq really was.
Re: Myrkr
Renze threw himself into a seat as his life pod began to rattle and shake as it began re-entry, strapping himself down he activated the small navigation consolein front of him and did his best to control his fall and land somehwere in Hyllyard City. Renze managed to pull the craft into a gentle spin that would land him within five kilometres of Ojin's last known position, he'd have to move fast once he landed or he'd be caught by the Imps before he could reach his own troops, there was a huge thump as the emergency parachute deployed and Renze was hurled across the pod, he made a mental note to kick his quartermaster in the teeth for not checking those restraints, another thump and another brief trip to the opposite wall of the pod and the parachute had snapped away, Renze grabbed onto a hand hold and held on for dear life as the pod began to shake violently, everything was rattling at once. Renze was almost used to it when the machines counter-descent thrusters kicked in and Renze felt like he was being crushed into the floor, next time, he was leaving someone else to set the ship on course and he was taking a dropship down.
Out of nowhere Renze was smashed into the floor as the pod impacted, pushing himself to his knees Renze felt the coppery tang of blood in his mouth and was on the verge of passing out when his armour pumped a shot of pure adrenaline into his bloodstream, standing Renze heaved open the exit hatch and walked out into the dull sunshine filtering through the pall of smoke that covered the entire city, looking over his shoulder Renze saw a mess of twisted metal and carbon scoring, he must have taken a hit from one of the strafighters on the way down, crawling back into the pod Renze heaved out a huge bag of ammunition and rations. Activating the tracker on his HUD Renze turned and made his way into the city, in the direction if Ojin and his team.
Re: Myrkr
Bravo team searched the area for anything out of the ordinary. A quarter an hour in to the search they found what they were looking for.
Alpha team soon joined them and entered the now opened hatch.
Each warrior made their way through the long darkened corridor under IR vision leading to a deepground isolation chamber.
After passing through several isolation chambers they reached the power reactor.
Kane huddled the troops and went through the commands. " we are to lay the charges and the proximity detonators on all entrances on the inside.
Shut down the reactor and set the charges to go off in 5 minutes. Then break into teams of 4 and spread out on hit and run missions"
Everyone nodded in understanding before shutting down power to the so called superweapon. The charges were set and the 5 teams fanned out into the complex to cause the Imperials a military nightmare of hellish proportions.
Kane and his small squad moved of toward the gun. Whilst on the move contact with the ghost teams had been made.
The assault on Tyriq's commando's would be swift and by mostly cloaked Mandalorians. Of the 24 assault troops, 20 would be completely invisible to the Imp forces.
With only 15 minutes of cloaking left they had a fall back plan, one that would take the Empire by completely by surprise..
In helmet beacons told Kane where his ghosts were, once linked up they moved on Tyriq's position with great speed and ferocity.
Kanes team cut loose first with armour piercing rounds from the repeating slugthrowers. The slugs tore through the commandoes with ease. Blood flew and bodies fell as the deadly projectiles filled the air.
Imperial commandoes took cover and began to return when 20 cloaked warriors opened up with a barrage of blaster fire bringing down more Imperial troops fell to the sudden onslaught.
Just as quickly as it started the Mando force pulled back, three of their number fell to Imperial fire. Kane hurled a thermal in to aid their planned retreat..
The 17 uncloaked ghosts pulled back for phase 2.

Re: MyrkrThe Gates of Hyllyard City Inside the Hyllyard City Defense Command Center........
Tyriq stood, his arms folded as his men began to get somewhat complacent, he was standing at the rear hatch of the building as his looked out the window for any sign of enemy movement. Nothing. Tyriq had very good men on his team, but they where not immortals, every command had his day, but to them, it just seemed like today wasn’t that day. With Tyriq at the helm, they really felt as if the enemy was crazy or something to try and attack them. With that over confident attitude came that all too familiar imperial aura that nothing could hurt or stop them. This was dangerous as Tyriq learned back when he was with the Republic that it was time like this, when the Empire knew they could do no wrong, that you strike them without mercy. One of the junior commandos reached up to take his helmet off. Tyriq’s eyes shifted to him as he watched to see if he was really that dumb.
“What are you doing?” He asked from the somewhat loud projection of his black scout trooper helmet. “I was getting some fresh air sir..?” the commando stumble responding, thinking that it wasn’t a big deal. Tyriq wasn’t a baby sitter, he wasn’t about to yell at a grown man for doing something that he himself would have thought to otherwise be stupid. The commando took off his helmet to reveal his short cut blond hair, he looked like the military type, buzz style, traditional to that of the Special Forces community. Tyriq took a heavy sigh as the fighting for control of the gate could be heard a long way off. The massive gun fired another shot as he picked up his weapon and pressed his ear piece, just then, he heard something. He grimaced at gut feeling he was getting.
“Corporal….move away from the window.” The helmentless Corporal looked around not seeing anything to would cause Tyriq to pick up his gun in such a manner. “Sir…?” He said looking back at him a little puzzled. “Corporal get the….” Just then, he heard it again, this time several of them, the glass beneath their feet gave them away just as clear as day. Tyriq screamed as he unloaded his rifle diving behind a console. “CONTACT! CLOAKED ENEMY UNITS IN SIDE THE COMMAND CENTER!” The room erupted into a fiery storm of bullets and haze as the unsuspecting commandos where sneaked by what appeared to be Mandalorian units. All he could see at that moment was the faces of Kallis on each of them. They might have been invisible, but the slight distortion from their cloaks could be seen by all. The poor Corporal was cut to death and fell over the ledge to his doom. Tyriq ran and simply dropped kicked the attacking Mando in the same manner. The firing stopped as he was out of breath, looking around three of his commandos where dead and one on his way to the pavement. He took his helmet off as he cursed himself for not seeing that blind attack sooner, if it wasn’t for the broken glass on the floor, he would have been a goner as well.
Standing, the rest of his team recovered, Tyriq looked at the thermal that followed the attack. He recognized the making to know exactly who he was dealing with. Picking it up and simply chucking it out of the window before it exploded. His remaining men looked at him as if he was crazy to even touch a live piece of ordnance. He pressed his earpiece and said. “CS Team.” They both responded as he shook his head looking at the dead commandos. “Did you get all of that?” He asked as they sat quietly the entire time, they where ordered not to take shots into the command center if it was at anytime breached, but to simply observe and gather Intel. “Yes sir...we count any where from 20 to 24 remaining.” Freaking out standing team work was displayed by his men, here h had two snipers that could have been taking shots, but instead he used their sights to get numbers, and make his job a lot easier.
Tyriq then spilt as he somehow busted his jaw inside his helmet. “Tell me some good news Eyeball.” He continued as he took a deep breath, “Its you old friend Kane sir.” The single commando said as he watched from his position inside one of the empty office buildings, Kane giving orders and throw the thermal into the command center. Tyriq nodded as he responded “I figured as much.” He knew how Kane worked, got this was a small universe, these two worked beside each other in the Republic, and now look, he would hate to have to kill him so he really hope he would get the message and back off. Looking at the three dead Mando’s on the floor, Tyriq had the perfect idea. “Staff Sergeant.” He said as he singled for him to come near him. Whispering in his ear he order him to do something as he continued. “Eyeball, inform command that we have finally received some contact and they can take their time getting here.” Tyriq knew his command would dress that up to be spoken on more appropriate channels, but he got the general idea. Tyriq walked over to the Commandos too their weapons and ammo away from them, he then reached in and grabbed their dog tags. Seconds later, another thunderous boom filed the room the three Mando bodies now hung from the open window against the building for all to see. It was a disturbing site, but it was a message, a clear one, if Kane wanted to continue playing this games with Tyriq, he was gonna have to do a lot better than that. “Lieutenant Calrissian.” Eyeball came in over the comms as Tyriq stepped to the rear of the center to hear him better. “Go ahead." He responded he stopped back at his original position and listened. “It seems you also have the commander from the enemy fleet in the city as well, according to Intel, his pod in the one that crashed in the city while you where under attack.”
Tyriq thought for a second….Renze? He was eager to meet this guy, oh how he hoped this man stopped by to see him at this post, Tyriq blood began to run with anticipation as he really wanted a piece of this so called leader. “Any idea where he might be at?” Tyriq said in a hopeful tone, knowing all to well his eyeball was going to tell him no. “Negative sir, I lost sight of him once the fighting started.” Tyriq roughly rubbed his face in anger as another perfect chance slipped past his fingers. “Just stay on Kane Eyeball, don’t let him out of your site, CS team, you know what to do, your not only hunting visible, but invisible units now, CS-Two, go thermal and cross-imaging scanning, if its out there and it has a heart beat, you better see it.”“Yes sir.” The sniper said quietly as he slowly moved to make the adjustments on his scope. Tyriq liked the idea of the glass seeing as it was I all actually, their last defense. He order his men to speed it round the entire post and prepare to launch a counter-attack. Hopefully with three Mandalorians hanging from his window they would get the picture. Edited by: Tyriq Calrissian at: 7/12/07 1:49 pm
Re: Myrkr
Fidelis was released from the tractor beam. Most of his instruments were disabled. He had enough power left to sustain him for a few minutes. Not long enough for his men to arrive and rescue him. He was moving towards the planet and caught in its gravitational pull. He felt it pulling down and he watched as the planet came closer.
He closed his eyes allowing the force to guide his movements. Only with the force would he be able to survive this in one piece. He turned his ship hard as he came down faster. He had to slow his decent and he was using every ounce of strength to do it.
Fidelis woke up, his vision blurred and his eyes aching. He looked around at the sight below him. He had landed in a tree and under neath looked like a hell of a party went on without him. He opened the hatch on his ETA-2 and jumped out landing with a force enhanced agility. Now he was on his turf, combat on ground. He pulled out his communicator and signaled for his men to push through and land. Those few that would distract the Imperials would earn their family a life of luxury.

Axl was delighted by the response. " Red Eyes? Oh My God, it's so good to hear a familiar voice. You know I'd love to toast some Imps with you, let's blend in with a couple of their squadrons before giving them a wake up call?"
Axl accelerated along side Nates ship and gave him a thumbs up. " The Imps won't know what hit em, Rock n Roll"
Re: Myrkr
Colbs monitored the battle inside his helmet while he sat in the doorway of a run down building. His med kit lay open on the ground, armor plated off as he sprayed his wound with bacta and filled it with self sealing synthflesh. His tactic at the gate had caused chaos. Outlaw forces were still in contest with the Imperials over the gate. Far of a pod streaked in. He recognized it as Renze and his crew. Smiling he popped the plates back on and stood. Fine, for now.
Stepping outside he rocketed up and away, spiraling like a corkscrew. The exhaust from his rockets trailed behind him, making an arc. The nice thing about HUDs was that you could zoom in. Colbs zoomed in, right onto the face of Tyriq Calrissian. Streamlining himself he pluged downward, using his wrist rocket to blow a hole in the posts roof.
He prom promptly dropped down through cutting the ignition, landing in a crouch and assuming a standing position to face Tyriq, in black scout trooper armor. His left guantlett came up reflexivly into his face.
" Hello Tyriq, No sudden moves, unless youre expecting a sudden surprise in the face."
Colbs wished he could see the mans face behind his helmet. He was sure it would be surprise.

Re: Myrkr
Only slightly surprised when his enemy The blow to the neck should have taken his opponent down, but as Ayreon Faraway soon found out, the combatant he was facing was anything but ordinary. Before Ayreon's elbow could impact the soft flesh at the underside of his opponent's head, which would surely cause permanent disability (well, permanent enough for the battle, anyway), or death by a crushed trachea, the operative's head shot forward and collided with Ayreon's armored elbow. Though the armor took a majority of the force, the guard could feel pop slightly at the recoil, but it wasn't enough to stop him, at least, by itself. He had to admit, as much worse as it made his situation, that the failed attempt had put him in a bad positional area. Now that they were both weaponless, his opponent was not only stronger and larger than Ayreon himself, but from the looks of it, trained well enough that he would be able to use his size and his power to his advantage, not to his detriment, as so many bumbling idiots before him had.
Evidence of his opponent's speed and intelligence would become painfully- very painfully obvious to the Crimson guard as it was soon revealed that not only was the large warrior very incensed by the fact that he had just been stunned and disarmed, but he was also very able to channel that rage and anger into a very volatile form of fighting. Before Ayreon could blink, he was under the most brutal assault he had ever received, easily on par with the beatings he had received in the middle of training for the guard, at least a decade ago. That time seemed so long ago now, as he stared down the face of ferocity itself, that feral line where the sentience of being and the raw intensity of instinct did not fight or conflict with one another, but blurred into a creature far more deadly. This, however, was a type of creature Ayreon had new experience with; he had faced deadly and dangerous, he had conquered smart, but both in the same package would be a treat indeed.
The utter brutality of the whole thing astounded him; before he could react, he was thrown back with the impact of a second headbutt, then a third, and finally a fourth. Then Ayreon was sent almost flying into the wall, with a rough crack that would have snapped his neck and cracked his skull if it weren't for the supportive armor and the hard body training he had been forced to go through in his conditioning to be a guard. With every attack made by the enraged assailant, Ayreon's muscles tightened, contracted, not cramping beyond their normal, but making a tight wall of pure muscle that, in tandem with the hard plated crimson armor protected him, for the most part. With a brilliant spider-webbing crack, his visor burst into an obstructing splaying of lines that were almost impossible to see through, but that didn't matter at the moment. Pain shot through his body as one of his kidneys was slammed with a powerful knee, but by bracing his arms against the wall, Ayreon managed to keep his feet, though he could feel his stomach churn at the irritation of his kidney.
Moving with a combination of thought, but mostly trained instinct, the guard, at the stimulus of a hunch and an odd feeling of absence above him (concerning the attacker's arms), Ayreon managed to whirl himself around; the crimson splash that he was able to identify as his opponent's armor told him that, well, he was in for some pain, and by instinct, the guard crossed his arms over his chest, with his hands cupping his shoulders. This helped him more than he knew as the elbows of his opponent slammed against the area of his collar bone; though the blow was absorbed by his arms, and the armor, the surge of force was enough to crumple him slightly, and a bit of his visor fell, giving him some field of vision, even if it was only a tiny square....
A square that saved his life! Through that small, some would say shiny window of glorious hope, he saw the figure of his opponent charging towards him in a mad, elbow-focused rush that, arms, armor, or no, would surely kill him. Eyes widening, Ayreon spun tightly away from the potential point of impact and pushed away from his current side of the room to the other. With a shudder, he felt the enraged man impact against the side of the ship, no doubt denting it. Regardless, Ayreon moved. Through that tiny window of vision, he could see enough that his hand and foot shot out simultaneously, one grabbing at his hand with a palming action, the other shooting outwards towards the backside of his right kneecap with a tremendous, well-targetted force. With any luck, the warrior would be temporarily immobilized from the force of the kick to the knee from behind, and the force of his kneecap hitting the wall, while his head was slammed into the same wall, on top of that. Still, Ayreon could see this being interrupted by the extended elbow.
Knowing he had his safety in distance, Ayreon ignored the weapons on the floor and backed away from his opponent, one hand ready in a battle position, the other flicking at the clasps of his helmet. The cracked visor would become a liability, so it had to be removed. As the helmet came off, revealing the face of the guard, complete with a fresh stream of blood down his right side (only a flesh wound, nothing serious), the rest of the glass fell to the floor. The guard had been required to hild the helmet at the sides of the visor, and the increased pressure caused the visor to give way. Appearing to brush glass shards from his hand, Ayreon dropped down to a lower stance, both hands ready for battle, dark eyes locked without word to his opponent.
The only sounds were the beating of Ayreon's heart, and the respectful, but very slight panting that was his breath.

Re: MyrkrThe Gates of Hyllyard City Inside the Hyllyard City Defense Command Center........ Colbs
A few minuets had past and nothing had happen. Tyriq was under the distinct impression that these people didn’t take him seriously, that they figured just plain on storm troopers where occupying this command center and that they could come in and do what ever they felt like. Tyriq was an Imperial Commando, one of the Empires Adept’s. If someone simply thought that sneaking behind him, or trying to bombard his area, or even capture him was a by the book procedure, they where heavily mistaken. “This is Eyeball Lieutenant.” Tyriq stood as he singled his men with those famous hands signals to ready themselves for an attack. “What is it Eyeball?”“He’s defiantly a Mando alright, guys using his jet pack to close in on you….I’d say he heading for the top of the command center sir.” Tyriq looked through the huge opening to see a man with a jet pack of some sort flying towards him.
“This is CS-One, I have him in my sights sir…want me to take him out?”“No.” Tyriq said as his men quickly moved into position inside the command post. Just then a loud thump was heard on the ceiling, Tyriq looked up and responded. “If he does anything stupid, he doesn’t fly, walk, or run away from here alive CS Team is that under stood?” The both radioed back affirmative as Tyriq snipers zoomed in on the one lone Mando. A thick piece of cleaning fell behind Tyriq as he continued to look out the window unflinchingly. He thought this might be a ploy, but after careful consideration, knowing that Tyriq is a skilled killer and knowing he has skilled killers in his company, this was a death sentence to any man that came ot try and stop him.
" Hello Tyriq, No sudden moves, unless youre expecting a sudden surprise in the face."
Figures, he would approach with some barbaric demand. Tyriq slowly turned around as his forces slowly moved towards Colbs. Their weapons trained on him, they knew the drill, he was to go down before all else if he some much as tried anything that looked remotely hostile while talking to the Lieutenant. “Colbs…you should not have come.” Tyriq said coldly as he reached up to removed his helmet. This was putting him at a disadvantage as he needed to speak to this man face to face. “This is not your fight Colbs, your better than this, I know…I use to work with you remember?” Reasoning with him he hoped this change of policy would somehow reach the mercenary. “You can still make things right…all you have to do is fight along side the Empire…what’s your going rate now? 5,000 credits?” Tyriq wince at the price. “You could be doing so much better.” He liked the guy, he was young and impressionable, but make no mistake, Tyriq wasn’t pleading for compliance, this was a one time offer, if he should just the slightest bit of hesitation or withdraw…this conversation would be over on the account of Tyriq’s following actions.
“What do you say…come to the winning side and get paid what you deserve…don’t let foolish honor get in the way of a potential good life Mandalorian.”Edited by: Tyriq Calrissian at: 7/13/07 4:39 am
Re: Myrkr
Renze re-adjusted the pack of supplies on his shoulder and heaved a sigh, his HUD must be malfunctioning, he was almsot positive he was walking in circles, he had passed the same burned out AT-ST and three dead scout troopers at least three times and it was beginning to grate on his nerves, Renze was about to break comm silence and call Ojin when he heard the sound of marching feet, half a dozen Stormtroopers rounded the corner ahead. Renze was caught in the open with a large pack awkwardly balanced on his shoulders and his Deece hanging from his belt, it might have well been a mile away for all the good it would do him now. Waiting with baited breath Renze watched the Stormtroopers, they didn't look like they'd spotted him yet, sliding one foot to his right Renze braced himself and shot towards the downed Imperial walker, Renze was almost inside and already thinking that it was to late for the Imperials to open fire when a flurry of blaster bolts shot past in front of his face, throwing the supplies inside the wreckage Renze dove in afterwards. He'd misjudged the depth of the wrecks cockpit, Renze's head clanged against what used to be the floor and was now the wall, Renze's momentum meant he flipped over and the entire lenght of his body smacked against the wall with a meaty thud.
Shaking his head Renze pushed himself to his feet for the second time in as many hours and leant out into the street, the enemy was less than twent meters away, one of the troopers pointed at Renze's head and shoulders poking out of the wreck and the entire party opended fire, Renze just had time to swear and duck back before the barrage slagged the spot he'd been standing, Renze rummaged around inside his pack and dug out a flash bang. Pulling the pin Renze locked and loaded his Deece and flicked the grenade sidearm out of the cockpit hatch, shielding his face Renze heard the muffled thump and saw the flash light up the inside of the AT-ST before leaping out and spraying the entire group with blaster fire. All of the troopers went down but one who was still moaning and covering his eyes when Renze calmly shot him between the eyes.
Leaning down Renze heaved his pack back onto his shoulder and looked around, as soon as that patrol didn't report back this area would be crawling with Imperial forces, activating his comm link Renze called Ojin,
"Ojin? this is Renze, I have supplies and I need your position, encrypt it and call me back," Renze left the comm channel open for Ojin to reply and ducked into a blown out building, now to wait.
Re: Myrkr
Ojin was cursing every few seconds. His men were being heavily pinned down and he had casualties everywhere. The small amount of medical supplies the sniper unit carried was more ment for lacerations or the occasional gun shot. Not for surviving a large fire fight like this. When he heard Renze's communication he gained a little hope.
" Sir, read you load. We are currently two hundred meters south of the security center. Most of my sniper teams are pinned in various locations around the center. I have taken heavy casualties. A few of my men have even died, send medical assistance when possible. BREAK.".
He dunked down as another rocket exploded close. He jumped up aimed and put a round through the storm troopers skull. He came back down and grabbed the radio.
" Be advised, munitions are low. We need ammo, if you can get it sir some armor as well. OVER".

Re: Myrkr"Red Eyes? Oh My God, it's so good to hear a familiar voice. You know I'd love to toast some Imps with you, let's blend in with a couple of their squadrons before giving them a wake up call?"
Nathaniel grit his teeth, hating being called "Red Eyes." While he maintained a perverse pride for being half-Chiss, he hated that heritage as well. And having it pointed out... not good.
"Sounds good to me," he snarled. "I want to turn their bases down there to ash though too. They owe it to me, and maybe we can get the rest off-planet."
Keeping pace with Axl, the duo quickly found a patrol to fall in with.
Re: Myrkr
Renze listend to the mounting list and grimaced, glancing inside his sack of goodies his grimace turned into a scowl, he had enough rations, ammunition and medical supplies for one squad, that would last Ojin's unit about five minutes, he needed more, activating his comm again Renze sent out a broad wave communication informing his troops that he was back in the game, as soon as the green acknowledgement came on that HQ had recieved Renze opened a comm channel,
"this is Renze, give me your position over," Renze snapped, after a few seconds there came a reply,
"sir, it's good to hear from you, we're sc... red all to hell, our dro... ips have been flying nonstop recovery missions and our V-19's are... pressed holding our sky lane... pen," Renze nodded to himself, then a thought struck him,
"land the Badger, use it as a stationary AA site, that should relieve the V-19s covering your HQ, as soon as you have an LAAT and some air support free send support to the co-ordinates being uploaded to your command network," Renze plugged in the co-ordinates and hit send, "how are or supplies looking?"
"the external supply pods jettisoned as expected sir, we're outfitted well enough to fight for the next year provided we don't run out of soldiers," Renze grinned at his second's pessimism,
"look on the bright side, the more men we lose the more supplies we have for the rest to kill these Imps with," he responded, turning off the comm link Renze turned to position Ojin had indicated, then he remembered, snipers like the direction up.
Renze walked to the base of the tower he suspected Ojin was in and wrestled throug a small shell hole in one of the walls, turning Renze swore the damned building didn't have a turbolift, with an air of resignation Renze placed his foot on the first step and began to climb.

Axl and Nate cruised among the patrol craft for a brief moment. Being at the back of the patrol helped.
" Hey Nate, from here if we hit the lead two, the ones immediately behind will hit them. By the time the rest realise what is happening we could nail two more, my guess is the last few will try to run, then we can bomb that base you want to frag"
Axl prepared to lock on target awaiting Nates word.

Nathaniel's reply was cold and simple: "Let's do it."
Firing up his laser cannons, he strafed the Interceptor just a little off course from following the patrol flight. It gave him a better sightline for the second of the lead ships.
Locking on to it, the pilot would've never had a chance. Letting loose his fury, Nathaniel opened up the cannons and blasted the Imperial fighter to bits, watching with success as the fighter closest to it was incinerated in the blast.

Re: Myrkr
Axl was more than glad to hear Nates reaction. He locked targetting, armed weapons and almost simultaneously opened fire on the lead TIE.
Cannon fire slammed into the Ion engines, the fighter began to break up when number two slammed into the exploding wreckage.
TIE three barely dodged the increasing fireball as debri showered his craft taking a piece of vertical wing off.
While it spiralled out of control, the remainder of the patrol looked frantically for the attacking craft. This gave Axl ample time to lock and fire on number four.
Axl didn't bother with the spiralling TIE, instead he began chasing the last of his two targets.
When with the Rebels he didn't have the luxury of surprise nor was the old X-wing as capable especially against superior numbers.
Re: Myrkr
Renze groaned, a section of the stairs had fallen down into the previous level, sighing Renze stepped out onto one of the small jagged sections that still jutted in from the wall, inching his way across the gap Renze was almost to the opposite side when the chunk of stone he was standing on gave way beneath the weight of his armour. Stretching out his hand Renze managed to hook his fingers over the lip, snarling against the strain on the tips of his fingers Renze heaved until he managed to get one hand over the edge, then two and finally, he was able to pull himself up and over the lip, just as he was getting ready to continue on his way, Renze remembered the grapplling line and cable he kept for occasions like this. Berating himself quietly Renze rose and jogged up the final flight of steps and onto the top level of the tower,
"Ojin this is Renze, I'm on your level with the supplies, come out into the hallway so I know wher to go."
Re: Myrkr
Fidelis landed on the ground hard, the only thing keeping his bone from snapping was the force. He pulled out a small blue vial. He took out a small grain and swallowed it. The Rokna Blue would be in his system soon. He looked around and listened to the sound of pitched weapons fire. He could see clouds of smoke billowing from a city a few kilometers away.
Fidelis pulled out a small communicator and activated it. He placed it into his ear and ran a microcord towards his mouth. What greated him was the sound of the Colonel in his ear.
" Lord Fidelis, three drop ships have made it through the atmosphere. We can not get anymore through without loosing to many warriors". Fidelis nodded as he saw his ships land. He approached them and moved his men out. He had roughly thirty troops ready and roaring to move out. They had already activated the adrenal biomechanical enhancements. Fidelis grabbed an extra DC-11 and prepared his troops.

The Colonel looked at the helmsmen. He had his orders from before Fidelis left.
" Signal plan 321, engage the Emperials. ".
The SD began to fire another cluster of turbo lazer fire at the Emperial vessel. The ETA-2's reversed course to assault the enemy. They would fight this battle until the next stage of the plan was activated.
Re: Myrkr
The Imps were soon to learn the hard way that to assume control would be a fatal mistake.
Kanes comms crackled as a voice broke across it in Mando,a. " Commander Smart, this is Delta, we have encountered some light resistance, firefight over, no casualties. Something interest though, our thermal imaging and audio enhancements have detected a number of Imp sniper positions. Shall we deal?"
Kane almost laughed. " Negative, send their co ordinates, I'm enacting phase two. Operation blindness, out"
Kane co ordinated his teams, the remaning ghosts had changed armour and moved on Tyriq's Sniper/spotters.
The plan was flawless and the guardposts were bypassed with ease. Once in place the Spec ops Mando's wearing Imperial stormtrooper armour made the co ordinated attacks.
The ghost teams had taken down several Imp guardposts and stolen their armour enroute to the command centre.
Now the Imperial sniper posts were systematically taken down by what appeared to be their own men.
From these positions the Mando's unleashed a volley of fire across the way at Tyriqs position.
The Commando's wouldn't know what hit them, and Colbs would be free to do as he pleased now the Imps were sitting ducks.
Kanes other teams pulled back to link up with logistics teams while the main Mando and mercenary force used guerilla style tactics to secure positions around the city and in the jungle.
Things were about to get ugly for Imperial ground forces.
Re: Myrkr
Colbs smiled as his internal halmet COM crackled. Kane had him covered. Every which way he was surrounded by snipers however. He clicked the barrel of his flamethrower attachment to its secondary setting, guantlet still raised at Tyriqs face. He had quite the surprise in store. Standing tall he listened to Tyriqs words.
" All right Tyriq, pretty words but heres the deal, you surrender your forces in the city right now, or I do some serious damage to you and the rest of this command post, I admit its not much pay, but I fight for my friends and my fellow Mandos, If you want to give a contract on another battlefield against another enemy I'd be happy to accept provided you survive."
His fist tightened. If Tyriq refused, he'd attack.
