With curiously no opposition to his plans this time, Nathaniel slithered across the ground on his stomach toward the parked TIE Interceptors. They weren't quite as advanced as... well, the Defenders that the Crimson Ferrets posted, but what was important at this point was that Nate could fly an Interceptor.

Whispering thanks to Axl Bailey, wherever he was, for flying lessons a long while back, Nathaniel crept behind a solar array of one of the TIEs and waited. This end of the "base" seemed deserted with Imperials in favor of some other project, elsewhere.

"Don't let me die in this thing," Nate muttered as he jumped onto the support strut for the solar array.

He glanced around and then hauled himself into the cockpit, closing himself in. Nathaniel's crimson eyes glowed as he scanned the controls, familiarizing himself again.

Ktah! Let's go kick some Imperials off Myrkr!

Nathaniel thumbed the Interceptor online and gunned the fighter toward the sky.

Renze suddenly had a thought, he made his way over to the comm station and contacted Savin,

"Savin? if the idea I'm implementing up in orbit goes south then you have command of the army, watch out for them," Renze sent the transmission and dialled Ojin's comm link next, "Ojin? this is Renze, I'm doing some crazy stuff up here, if you can't reach me in a minute then don't worry link up with Savin, he's in charge for the moment" Renze sent that transmission as well and, satisfied that all loose ends were tied up stepped back to the navigation console and continued to push the engines harder than ever before, "try and swallow this you arrogant bastards!" Renze muttered as his Acclamator made a B line for the gap between two enemy Star Destroyers.

"This is Colbs to Renze, Get one of your officers over here to comandeer thsi thing, Im planet bound."

Movingly swiftly Colbs reached his LAAT, BLACKFALCON faster than he had expected. Firing off he headed straight towards atmosphere. The jungle below him was on fire in some places. the glow was imense.

"This is Colbs to all ground units, halt Imperial advance at all costs, Im making my way down there to help ya."Some one had to stop or at leats slow Tyriq. That was the plan. Colbs would at least hinder him, that is untill Kane arrived with the rest of the Mandos. Then they would fininsh the Imperials.

"You took a shot in the gut for this? You are one masochistic little blueberry."

Alema closed her eyes and leaned her head back, holding back a laugh that she knew would hurt really really badly. Alema didn't actually know where her other blaster had gone, the one she'd been using to blast her ship's interior. At least Arin could have gotten some use out of it, but for all Alema knew it was up there in her hallway-turned-gladiatorial-arena.

Then Arin had grabbed her to drag her away from the fight, and it felt like Arin had stolen Faraway's forcepike and slowly begun to cleave the Twi'lek in two. Alema's whole body tensed and went rigid from the pain. This was a clear and unmistakeable request for less movement and more bacta. Potentially drugs. Drugs would actually have been pretty hard to turn down as well.

Arin left her side to go find... something. Alema was left with a cup of... looked like sweat. In fact, electrolyte solution might as well be just that. Alema noted wryly that Arin had mentioned the need for an expert to find a usable vein without damaging Alema's scarred vascular tissue. If the expert hadn't been shot, she might be able to do something about it, she thought.

It took a while for Alema to notice where she was. Funny how small ships look different when filled to capacity with strangers trying to murder each other. When Arin disappeared into the nearest doorway the bounty hunter found herself in Alema's personal quarters. It was a deceptively grand term for the only sleeping area on the tiny vessel, but there were a few things it did have.

Inside the door, Arin would find herself in a relatively small room. The floor was covered with inside-out clothing and a few cookbooks and technical manuals. Along one wall was a large bed, and next to it was a cooler functioning as a bedside table. There was even a bra flung on top of it. Inside were what could potentially be several liters of blue milk and a bag of... something brown and dried and leathery tucked into the door. It could have been jerky... if Arin could verify that it was even meat. However that, too, was to remain a mystery for now.

Meanwhile, Alema waited with her eyes closed for something to change, something to happen. She could hear growls of rage and blows against armor from the men in the hall, and Arin's footsteps against the floor. Alema's fate wasn't certain any longer, and it would be dependent on the actions of these three. Every variable was crucial, any change potentially damning.

What the--

Feeling something against her fingertip, she twitched her hand only to feel something flicking against her palm. "Haly!" she whispered, a smile coming unbidden to her lips. She'd completely forgotten about him. She clicked her tongue a couple of times and got the little constrictor up onto her hand. Alema bent her elbow to pull him up closer to her face and was surprised at how much better she felt having the tiny creature nearby, and how guilty she'd felt for forgetting him. With a tired and watery smile she looked over at the reptile curled around her fingers as he stretched off of her hand to assess their situation. "You're a good boy aren't you, Haly," she whispered. "Yes, you are. I didn't think you'd stayed."

In short, Alema was being a very very bad patient, playing with a snake instead of taking her medicine.

Screw that crap. Only one of these things is making me feel better, and they can let a wounded woman babytalk at a reptile if she damned well pleases.

Nate's stolen TIE Interceptor made headway for the skies over Myrkr. His eyes glinted dangerously as he watched the scanner and toyed with the on-board comlink, trying to get it onto a Ferret/Underworld frequency. He realized quickly that he had to let his own people know where he was before they shot him down!

"There. Ktah, in business!" Clicking the frequency over to the criminal and pirates, Nathaniel announced himself. "Boy Wonder's taken to the skies, folks. Lone Interceptor overheard. If you need anything blasted, send me your coordinates!"

As several more TIE exploded around his squardon Fidelis grew more blood thirsty. He signaled for his men to collect on him as he made his way towards the enemy. He blew apart another TIE before his ship jerked into a sudden stop.

" What the bloody hell. Tractor beam, men fall back to the Semper. I repeat all ships not trapped pull back to ship".

He was captured and he could do nothing but prop his legs up on the dash and stretch out. He would wait on his men to destroy the engines on that damnable enemy ship. As he watched a salvo of turbo lazers fired towards the star destroyer. Their aim not near enough to destroy the tractor beam but hopefully enough to soften them up before he was brought aboard.

While the main force from the bulk freighter Scorch had offloaded into the jungle, Kane and the remaining Mando'ade and Mercs landed in the last Outlaw held part of the city. Kane quickly opened his comms to all Outlaw channels. " This is Kane to anyone within the city of Hyllard. It's time to kick these Imperial Chakaar out of the city. Feel free to join me in the bloodbath" Kane and his men did one last check of their weapons.. Modified blaster carbines for added firepower and urban combat. A slugthrower repeating carbine with armour piercing rounds. Two frag grenades and a thermal each and to top things off, two baradium packed proximity mines in their backpacks. Kane quickly assembled his men into twenty teams of ten. He and his two most elite teams began to move off to retake the big gun. Tyriq Calrissian was about to face an old friend, and with that old friend were nineteen of the best spec ops Mando'ade the republic had ever known. The Imperial commandoes would soon be facing a team of warriors the likes they had never seen, and hell followed with them.

The Gates of Hyllyard City, Tyriq

Ojin crawled through the rubble of a few buildings until his sniper squad was in place. His company of men were hidden several hundred meters away from here awaitting his orders. He wanted the Imperial's head and he wanted it with a bullet hole through the center.

He aimed his riffle in on a lieutenant and slowly breathed. Each one of his men had officers or non-commisioned officers aimed in on. Once he pulled the trigger his men would begin firing and selectivly taking the enemy leadership down a notch. He clicked on a button on his visor and watched the red lights from the three other teams positioned around the artillary battery. After the first shots they would eliminate enemy who tried to flee.

He breathed in and exhaled until his lungs came to the natural point of rest. He squeezed the trigger sending a round at the lieutenant. His prayers were that he would kill the pest who had up until this moment been unopposed.

" Renze forgive me for disobeying your orders. But my men and i are the only ones left in the city, if we pull out the city will be lost. I will await in the barracks after the mission for punishment, until then i am disabling comm to you. Ojin out, Sir".

The TIE advanced shot out of the jungles and into the skies. The battle had raged for some time and the ace starfighter pilot had been kicking back on Myrkr when it started. It had taken him this long to get to his stashed TIE. Apart from that Axl only had his Y-wing, clothes and 300 credits to live off. As the TIE soared higher Axl opened his comms to a universal frequency so everybody could hear. He wanted the Imps to hear everyone of their fighters go down. As jolly as can be Axl broke into song. " Come fly with me, come fly, come fly away da da da da da da da, some Imp pilots will definitely die today" flicking on his sensor to find a target, Axl saw the lone TIE interceptor. " only one, these Imps are a joke"

Arin trolled through the ship in mild frustration. This place looks like the back of the Brightblade after the Mandos blew out the wall! Finally she found the cooler and examined the contents. Pulling out one of the brown strips, she examined it - smelled it - rapped it against a table - then finally considered how it might work as a segment of banded armor. Cobalt should've been wearing it - this would've stopped the bolt.

The idea that it could be edible eluded her.

Seeing the cartons, Arin examined them briefly. She blinked twice and sniffed: it didn't smell spoiled. Finding the cleanest cup she could, she poured out a serving and walked back to Alema in time to see her fiddling with the snake. She came in the room and smiled at the pet. "Well ... isn't he a cutie?"

She looked at the untouched solution and scolded lightly. "This really is supposed to help you ... and I haven't found an alternative on this tub, unless ..." Her eyebrows cocked as her face contorted into an expression of apologetic curiousity.

"... is it supposed to be blue?"

Serrena swore quite the streak of colorful Chiss words, describing things that were most likely anatomically impossible. Brilliant crimson eyes blazed as she stared out the transparisteel window in the rear wall near the ramp, watching the tree tops skim by under the LAAT.

"Serrena, where's Nathaniel?"

The dancer shifted her stance and turned to stare at Saede, a disturbed look in her eyes. "He's gone to get hold of a starfighter and seek retribution. I couldn't stop him..." her voice emerged soft and tinged with a touch of worry.

Lifting her hads to rub at her temples, Serrena sighed. "If he makes it out of this alive, I'm sending him to a @#%$ monastery..."

New Post Re: Myrkr
The Gates of Hyllyard City
Outside the now Imperial Contorlled City Gates....
Ojin, Kane and Colbs

Several enemy units advanced on forward Imperials positions near their command area just outside the city, since the gates had fallen and the imperial forces where making a very VERY slow push into the city, quickly eliminating any forces that might try and put up a resistance, the main goal was to hold off the enemy until appropriate steps could be taken to ensure complete domination of the planets capital, which for some odd reason, just recently became the focus of their forces. In the eyes of the logistic planners and strategic officers, all they could really do was send in small concentrated units to try and beat back the imperial force. A full scale march against the positions the empire had been setting in place would only end in disaster for them. If they failed to take the gun back from the empire, they would effective loose the city completely. The enemy ground units advance in their formations towards the fortified positions outside the city. The men inside working the controls sighted their massive weapons on the erected command post and comm centers. The troops marching alongside and behind where ready to take it to the empire.

All of a sudden, a flicker in the monitors inside the column of tanks jolted the operators, they all seemed to be receiving some sort of interference. They couldn't have jam the tank signals for it would have the same effect on the imperials gear as well. Something else was afoot. The columns had to give the order to stop due to the interference, maybe something was being used to mess with their navigational equipment. It was about the size of a standard company of armor, and at least several battalions of enemy troopers that where advancing on the city gate. All of a sudden, everyone began to feel really warm, as if the weather itself was changing or something. The ground rumbled as if it was about to open up, then pieces of loose grass began to float all around the men as they looked around to try and figure out exactly what was going on. Just then, one of the officers spotted it, from the depths of the city, a massive blast of red energy was launched from their super weapon that was being used against the empire. The men smiled completely ignoring the effects of their area being targeted in like manner. They watched, waiting to see the attack come down, and crush the empire from the sky. Instead…it sailed over their area, and headed directly for them. The men stood in sheer terror as they knew their worst fears had come to past, the Galactic Empire had taken control of not only their city defenses, but of their super weapon as well. The blast crashed down onto the enemy positions obliterating the column on contact and sending a wave of destruction and fire towards the rest of the enemy units.

The Colonel in charge watched from his command post, a smile of pure euphoria seeped across his face. All of a sudden, Major Olsen appeared from the lower decks of the command post, he had news for the Colonel that he would like very much. The Colonel listens to him and orders him to contact Lieutenant Calrissian that very instant.

*******
Inside the Hyllyard City Defense Command Center....

Tyriq stood firm as another blast was order for good measure, they where single handedly mopping up the enemy forces with their own weapon. He was then approached by comms who tapped their ear piece. It meant a message was coming through from forward command. Tyriq stepped away from the view for a second to hear the transmission better and responded. “Lieutenant Calrissian here.”Lieutenant…we have just received Intel from captured enemy unit’s transceivers that you will be expecting soon. I don’t have to warn you the cost of failure and what it would mean to the Admirals that their precious special forces failed to maintain a simple command post do I?” Another large blast from the super weapon filled the control room with a large thundering noise as Tyriq’s silence was enough for the Colonel to understand he knew what he Colonel was saying. "What are your orders Colonel?” Tyriq hated playing silly games when it came to his life and the life of his men. “Hold the command post at all coast, intel confirms that several enemy Special Forces units are advancing on your positions. Until we are able to make it with sufficient ground forces, keep the weapon firing and hold them at bay, can you handle that?” This man was really getting on Tyriq’s nerves, it was one thing not to give him praise for doing something he couldn’t, but to question his abilities as a special forces operation leader was another.

“Understood…when can I expect arrival?” Taking a second the Colonel confirmed with his sources “If these transmissions intercepted are correct, they should be sighting in on you and your men as we speak." Tyriq looked up to his Sergeant Major and motion for incoming hostiles. The Sergeant Major sprang into action as he quickly orders two of their best snipers to get up on top of the center and maintain a solid window. He then order the sections spotter to exit the build, make it to the other side of the street far away and set up shop to pin point where these enemy units where in play. Tyriq finished his conversation with the Colonel. “This s very delicate Lieutenant, don’t fail us.” Tyriq didn’t respond to the last part as he was about to tell a superior officer to shove off. “Understood sir.” The unit was in position in less than 70 seconds. They weren’t some rag tag group of misfits shoved together to work for money or anything of the sorts. This was the Emperor’s Elite force of military units. They are trained to use stealth to defeat their enemy, not bronze, they save that foe the army. These are the men at fight the wars and win them, the very name of Imperial Commando struck fear into some as they where known to be cold and beyond good at what they do, this wasn’t the navy, this wasn’t the army, and it wasn’t the marines. These where the spartans of the battle field, and they loved to be chased.

Moving over back into open view he looked at the few men that remained inside of the control room. He then pressed and turned on his closed channel transceiver as he order. “O.k. gird up, force status is as follows, possible company size unit of enemy Special Forces advancing on our position, orders are to hold and defend the gun until the cavalry comes in, shooters.”CS-1 sir green", CS-2 two sir green.” His counter-snipers where in their well hidden positions awaiting word from the spotter. “O.k. spotter.” “Eyeball green sir.” He had taken up a good position away from the fighting to give the commandos flowing Intel of enemy movements and positions. “O.K. CS team you take all available shots and follow Eyeballs lead. Eyeball, you call shots in to the CS team but focus on finding the enemy units that are giving the orders understood?” All the teams sounded yes sir as Tyriq looked and felt the looming adrenaline rush kick in. He looked back over to the men inside and said.

“We’ll draw out their fire, so prepare to get shot at, doc.” The Command walked over to Tyriq and awaited orders. “You stay down right here, if one of us gets hit, I’m need you to be able to grab them, pull them close, and tend to them.” The Commando began to clear away broken glass in the area he would be hunched in until this thing blew over. Tyriq looked at his Sergeant Major and said. “I want ever single person out their dead, not a single survivor, if they make it out of here, they go and get help which is exactly what I don’t want to happen." “Eyeball here, several tango’s spotted moving towards your location Lieutenant.” The Sergeant major nodded as he walked over with his huge shoulder mounted repeating e-web modified heavy weaponry. Tyriq was going to take crap shots with his sniper attachment leaving the killing in the hands of his very cable counter snipers. “One is sighting in Lieutenant on the command center his is more than likely aimming at you." Tyriq stood firm as he wanted to give the man a good shot before he duck for cover. "NOW!" he screamed as the round vaulted of the walk, the shot gave away the mans position and the hided CS teams took well aimed shots at the body silhouette of the shooter who was obviously aiming for Tyriq. That then was quickly followed by quick decisive attacks from the command center as rapid fire and assortment fire pelted the snipers area. He should have thought twice about going up against Tyriq by himself, this wasn’t a man you just sneak up on.

“Contact!” The Eyeball said as he watched other snipers fall victim to the same mistake around the area of the city.

OOC: I wish for this to be known right now, it is possible to get Tyriq our of that Command center, but it doesn’t include blowing it up, since I don’t want him to die, I don’t acknowledge any post that would involve killing him in such a way. Just figured I’d put that out there so there is no confusion. Come and get me!

Spotting a lone TIE racing up on his tail, Nathaniel sent one of the coded recognition patterns toward the pilot. If he was a part of the Crimson Ferrets, he'd know the counter pattern to send. If not...

"Well, then he'll be my first kill," Nate said grimly.

His hands folded neatly at the small of his back, the High Admiral had once again taken his regular silent vigil over the forward viewport. From behind him, the pompous voice of Captain Peregrin Ives piped up, "High Admiral Pollard, we've encountered success on all fronts. A communication stemming from Group Relik has confirmed that we've captured the Sith commander in the tractor beams. Lifeform readings on the majority of the enemy vessels have drastically declined - The enemy seems to have all but abandoned its fleet and made way for the ground; all enemy vessels on what appear to be kamikaze vectors - Estimated to be mostly automated, sir. Requesting permission to build acceleration to enhance tractor beam performance." Most officers would have at least shifted their weight in discomfort at the silence which followed, but Ives was well-accustomed to Pollard's demeanor; as he predicted, the High Admiral's response came shortly after a brief moment of contemplation.

"Suggestion noted, yet declined, Captain Ives. Our vessels certainly do have the mass to repel the incoming enemy vessels via tractor beam with enough developed propulsion... But I have something else in mind. The fleet is to lower on the Y axis... Interdictors pan out along the X. Fire the ion cannons upon Relik Leader's vessel - I want that fighter's circuits damaged beyond immediate repair. A couple of shots should suffice. Tractor beams then reverse and fire his vessel onto the planet."

Both men nodded stiffly to each other, though each was smiling inwardly at the High Admiral's ploy - If all went according to plan; with all electronics disabled, the Sith's fighter would go plunging helplessly to the surface of Myrkr - Even with the Force as his ally, the odds were slim that Arumizy would actually be capable of maneuvering the fighter into a crash landing onto the planet surface which he would survive. Of course, one error which had proved common in Imperial tacticians in the past was an underestimation of the power of the Force...

The orders had been delivered, and Pollard watched in satisfaction as the fleet already began taking maneuvers as per his orders. Having already been returning to his station, Captain Ives paused midstride as he heard Pollard's voice call out from behind him, "Oh, and Captain Ives." The Captain spun back around on the heels of his boots to face his superior, "Yes, High Admiral Pollard?"

"Inform Captain Jergan that he may begin preparing his marines. These nearly abandoned vessels will be suitable compensation for the crimes committed at Myrkr."

((OOC: Sorry about the delay. N'eparavu takisit(Sorry) ))

IC:

"nnnNNYYIAAARAARARARARARGH!!!"

The violent clatter the Guardsman commander's pike made when it hit the deck of the Kohiko was completely lost to the Mando'ad as he could hear little over the pain-induced roar that leapt from his chest as the Force pike's stun function did it's job all too well.

The crimson-clad Mando slammed back into the other side of the narrow passageway, his body still convulsing from a stun that was powerful enough to -kill- a lesser man. The fact that the warrior was still -conscious-, let alone still standing, was a testament to the incredible physical training that served to forge the fighting machine the Guardsman now faced. His great body convulsed with the massive shock it received making him all too open a target for the Guard commander's precise technique, as the latter closed the short distance with a speed the Mando'ad has see from few he faced. The strike hit it's mark with incredible accuracy, causing the Mando's already stunned arm to release Adenn Kote, allowing it to hit the deck with a clatter all it's own.

It was odd to the Mando'ad that he would hear this above all things as he felt himself blacking out from the shock. A journey into unconsciousness that the Guard commander had every intention of assisting with the gentle nudge that he was going to attempt to offer from his oncoming elbow.

"Savin...tell me why you had to shoot that boma three times in the head? Why didn't it die from the first shot?” Aron Skirata was an imposing man, even outside of his crimson armor. Even though, he had not worn it since the opening of the clone wars. That life was over for him. This young boy before him, his skin a light brown, his eyes of the hardest grey he had ever seen, was his entire world now. This young boy that was becoming a man before his very eyes. He had to smile at the, slightly, bloodied young ge'verd as he dusted himself off, standing before the large animal that he had to resort to stabbing to death. “And why was it so intent on taking your head off while you did it?”

“Because..huff huff.it was too...huff...stupid to just die..” Gasped out the young Mando'ad as he retrieved his dagger from the things side. One of three that he had to lodge into the thing to bring it down. Savin was rather frustrated that it took so long to kill. They could have been butchering the beast to take home to cook, by now. It's stubborn will to live was getting in the way of his dinner. That is usually a good way to get some death in one's life.

Aron had to hold in a smile. That boy was always so bloody serious about his meals. “In a way. You hurt it. Real bad, you did. First shot. And then it charged you and tried to nibble on your big head. Any idea why?”

“..it wanted to live?”

“Closer.”

“It was afraid of me.”

Aron allowed himself a proud smile. “Gar serim, ad'ika. Good. Now, what did you feel when it was on top of you?”

Savin paused a moment, wondering how to answer. He finally opted to answer his father truthfully. “I guess I was...a little afraid, buir.” His shoulders slumped a bit as he spoke. He didn't want to look weak in -any- way before his idol.

“What where you afraid of, ad'ika? Of dieing? Of getting hurt?” The older Mando's voice was even and sure. No hint of disappointment that the young warrior could detect. “No, buir.”

“What then?”

“I...” The young man-to-be looked to the ground a moment before looking his father directly in the eye. “I thought I was going to lose. You, mom and Mirdala wanted to eat and if I lost..I Didn't want to disappoint you, buir.”

Aron almost scoffed at this. Savin disappointing him would take something -far- more catasrophic than losing to a beast that outweighed him by nearly a factor of ten.
“How did that make you feel?” Aron knew his son well enough to know the answer before the battered young hunter even opened his mouth to speak.

Angry..” Said the young warrior with a slight growl. A dark look crossed the young Mando's visage. A look that he would wear a great many more times in his life.

“Elek, Sav'ika..... and -that- is why you won..”

A ferocious snarl erupted from deep within the warrior as his head flew forward to strike the elbow being flung at him in mid-flight, intercepting the blow with a fierce headbutt before it could land.

The hand that previously held Adenn Kote wrapped it's fingers about the Guardsman's arm that still held his with the vice-like grip he gained from his practice of the mynok form of Teras Kasi's grasping hand attacks and dragged the Guardsman into a vicious second headbutt, this time aimed at his visor. This brutal attack would be continued for a third and a fourth time before he would swing his body around to switch places with the Guard commander and build the momentum he needed to slam the Imperial, face-first, into the wall he was previously pinned against.

The enraged Mando gave no room for further thought on the matter as he followed the Guard's body, his hands cupping at the sides of his own helmet to allow his elbows to array toward his intended target as part of the tell-tale stance that belonged to the 'Red Saberhawk' style, driving a brutal knee at the kidney area that was quickly followed by a pair of elbows simultaneously driven down at the Guardsman's collarbone. The force of the elbows was incredible as he extended his body to use the entire sum of his upper body's weight to crash down at the Guard much like the razor-sharp beak of the style's namesake.

With another twist and a pivot on his center axis, the Mando grasped at the Guard to wrench him off the wall, slinging him the short distance to the opposite side before the Mando'ad warrior kicked off the wall behind him to leap at the Imperial with a full-mouthed roar. The warrior had every intention of bringing a single elbow down on the center of the Guardsman's chest...to attempt to crash -through- it...

Colbs hit the ground outside the city starting in immediately. Trotting off across the landscape until he came to the walls. Far off he could see Kanes Mandos getting set for the attack. colbs planned to be a major distraction, allowing Kane to attck the command post swiftly.

"This is Colbs, Im in position, just give the word Kane and ill give the Imps an fireworks show."

He pulled out a various assortment of IEDs from his belt. He so loved big explosions.

What? She doesn't drink blue milk? What is she, an Imperial?!

"Oh, Arin. Yes." Alema grinned as she reached for the glass. "Blue milk straight out of a Bantha's--"

And then there was a violent scream of rage from the main hall. The words slipped away from Alema as she stared off toward the altercation. A name formed itself on her lips, but now that her head was clearing a bit she questioned it. What? No. Why did I think that? I don't even know this person. If she hadn't been injured she might have--

No, She thought. I wouldn't be able to do anything. I wasn't trained for situations like these. I wouldn't be any help at all.

"Arin," she said. "I can... handle myself here. I like the blue milk better." Though that was probably obvious from my fridge, Alema thought. "If you have more... of those syringes, I mean." She swallowed and winced as a slight tensing in her body pulled on her wound.

Reluctance pulled her voice taut across her next few words. "I can do it myself."

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I had... another blaster. I was using... it to take out my... my control panel. Don't know where it is. But you should find it. I just need--" She bent a bit thinking to reach down, but the excrutiating burn on her torso vetoed that one. "Left boot. Flashlight."

Tucked into Alema's left boot was a small, portable mechanic's kit. In it was a miniature toolset, a folding knife, and a little worklight.

Need to find a vein. Right hand should be fine. I never liked using my fingers much, so those veins are still there.

Renze watched Drake's fleet drop below his trajectory, swearing he slammed the throttles back, adjusted for the dive and hurled the throttles back to maximum, the acclamator dipped, balanced out and shot forward, directly for the centre Interdictor,

"dodge this," Renze growled, checking his scanners Renze saw that his other two ships were entering the atmosphere behind the troops from the Acclamator and were beginning to fire on Hyylyard city, Renze smiled and hoped his men had gotten the transmission in regards to the chain of command.

Turning back to the space conflict Renze smiled as his automated turrets began to spray fire over the enemy shields, dozens of the shots that would have missed now impacted due mainly to the fact that Renze was within a hunred metres of several of the Imperial ships, Renze grinned triumphantly as one of his shots ignited an explosion, that was until he noticed it had just been a TIE that had flown into his shot creating the impression that he had scored a hit on the capital ship. Sighin Renze went back to calmly waching the approaching Interdictor, once it filled Renze's entire view he flicked the overload switch and watched as the reactor redlined, time to leave.

Renze clambered into the last bridge escape pod and hit the ignition switch, his pod blasted out into space and sailed back towards Myrkr, glancing through the viewport Renze watched his Acclamator impact with the Interdictor and then go Nova, a huge flash of light and suddenly the Interdictor on either side of the collisions shields flashed, disappeared and their hulls began to bubble away Renze grinned and sat back, now if he could get to the ground, the Imps might take his forces more seriously.

With the calm, deliberating demeanor of the classical tactician, High Admiral Pollard's eyes traced the vector of the Acclamator, which had now surrendered its attempt to make impact with the fleet and instead made way for one of the Interdictor Cruisers. It was with casual indifference that he watched the two ships collide and explode in a flash and a ball of fire, leaving behind glowing, heated metal and other assorted debris. The Guillotine and its crew had served the Third Fleet well, and the loss of Imperial lives in service was always a terrible thing, but it had been a sacrifice he had been willing to make. Just as he'd suspected, the fools had fallen for his ploy... But of course, such could be expected of outlaw scum when pitted against the supremacy of the Galactic Empire. With a solemn nod of respect, the High Admiral tapped a few buttons on his wrist comm-remote and opened the Third Fleet's channel, "We salute the Guillotine and the lives of its crew; there is no greater honor than dying in service to the Empire."

He paused, glancing at his sensors manager as Captain Ives delivered the formal report from behind him, "Interdictors Gaelor, Morcanth, and Oracle are in position, High Admiral." With that confirmation, Pollard concluded his transmission, "Strikecraft, assault claw formations. Complete the destruction of the Sith reinforcement destroyer. Captain Jergan - Deploy. Third Fleet capitals... Perform Maneuver 58B." Pollard smiled; the transmission was closed, and with it, the fate of this petty rebellion was sealed. In a gleeful silent reverie, the High Admiral watched as the entirety of the Third Fleet's strikecraft force - fighters and bombers alike - screamed towards the already crippled Sith Star Destroyer, divided into deadly squadrons to create a strikecraft screen which would sever the head of what remained of the naval threat. With the pride of a maestro before his orchestra, the High Admiral watched as marine transports poured out of the Third Fleet's capital vessels and made way for the all-but-abandoned would-be kamikaze vessels, which would soon be in the possession of his beloved Galactic Empire.

And finally, came the final movement of the symphony...

For a brief moment, all of the Third Fleet save for three of the four Interdictors which had panned out in varying directions away from the fleet disappeared from view, leaving an empty space in its place. Just as abruptly, it reappeared, far distant from where it had once stood in a matter of seconds; quite safe from what had once been the threat of possible kamikaze impacts and a Sith Star Destroyer... Quite safe, and quite close in proximity to the orbit of the planet, which within the atmosphere of were the enemy's assault vessels descending upon Hyllard City; and as soon as it did, the Interdictors disappeared, but failed to reappear as had the rest of the Third Fleet. With but a moment's pause, a brilliant hail of green laserfire from all of the Third Fleet's capitals descended upon Renze Strand's remaining ships, which had already begun to descend into the atmosphere... Effectively trapped.

"Hyperjump maneuver successful, High Admiral Pollard." Captain Peregrin Ives smiled at the brilliance of his superior whom had once again outwitted even those under his own command. The response came with that crisp, icy tone which was as characteristic to the loyalist fanatical High Admiral as was his uniform, "Excellent, Captain Ives." With a bemused chuckle, the Admiral paused, then adding, "Aren't Interdictors such wonderful tools?" The Captain beamed with delight at the humor, pompously returning, "As wonderful as will be the destruction of the rebel scum beneath us." Both men chuckled, though swiftly ushered away the brief moment of casual chatting which had been earned with their momentary victory, once again giving way to the disciplined, formal air which was expected of men of the Third Fleet; Ives stiffened his posture and turned to leave, though from behind him, the High Admiral called.

"Captain. Did you notice that the kamikaze Acclamator which destroyed the Guillotine was the flagship of Renze Strand's mercenary fleet?"

"Yes, High Admiral." The Captain raised a brow, not quite certain of what point his superior was illustrating.

"Announce that Renze Strand's bounty has been increased to 30,000 credits."

"At once, High Admiral."

The pattern that appeared on Axl's screens was one he was vaguely familiar with. Locking into the frequency, the wild man of the skies opened his comms. " Ok, either you are a Ferret or a really smart Imp and as I know for a fact only one of those actually exists, then you must be a Ferret?" Axl cleared his throat before continuing. " So who do I have the pleasure of flying beside, oh almost forgot to ID myself, Bailey's the name, trashing Imps is the game" Axl pulled a couple of wiseass maneuvers during the brief silence.

Adjusting the headset, Nathaniel rolled his eyes and maneuvered the TIE Interceptor in such a way that a pilot might see the solar arrays as "waving" at him.

"Hey, Crash... remember me? You taught me to fly on Velusia a long while back. It's Alcine."
Nathaniel put the TIE into a dive so he was just barely skimming above the treetops. "Listen. I want retribution on these frackin' Imperials. Now. Care to blast them into oblivion with me?"

Kane and the special forces units made their way to the edge of the jungle. Using the binocular enhancement in his helmet Kane viewed the city gates. " It's heavily guarded, get me the ghost teams and findout how their infiltration is progressing. Then find me the hatches to the escape routes from the core reactor. It's time to show the Imps why this is our city" Kanes 2nd in command nodded then preped the radio. All comms would be scrambled and orders given in Mando'a to prevent the Imps discovering any plans.

'Two left... you can do this Gavin. Just concentrate.'

Gavin's body had been pushed to the limit, maybe even past it. Every muscle ached even when he didn't move, causing him pain every second. But if he didn't want to end up like the crimson guards he killed, he had to keep on fighting. He was almost glad that the next guard was only ten meters away, trying to hide in the brush. But with his bright red robes, he could be easily seen.

Before Gavin even took aim, he heard someone behind him! It was too late to even turn around, but he already knew what it was. The second crimson guard slashed at him with his sword, ripping into Gavin's back a good inch. When the blade left Gavin's back, it was a foot and a half long. This injury sent Gavin to the ground, making him yell in pain. He did not fall, since he managed to fall into a tree. If he had been on the ground, the crimson guard could finish him off. Gavin's yell alerted the second guard, who was running to help fight.

Gavin already had a plan to make this a one on one fight again, by using the crimson guards against each other. When the guard that had been hiding in the bush was only a foot away, Gavin sprung his trap. He smashed his knee into the running guard's chest, stopping him dead in his tracks. This made the wound on Gavin's back and whole body ache in pain even more. Since the guard's blade was still in his hands, Gavin grabbed the guard's wrist, and jabbed it toward the guard that attacked Gavin first. The blade entered the guard's heart, killing him before his body hi the ground.

Now that only one guard was left, and Gavin lost his blaster; he had to fight with his fists. But every time Gavin moved his arm, the wound on his back almost made him howl in pain. That was when Gavin had an idea that would make him use most of his energy, but not move a lot. If Gavin was going to live here, he had to suffocate the guard. Before the guard could fight back, Gavin got the guard's neck in his arms, and squeezed as hard as his body let him. Gavin had to use all his power to hold the guard in this hold that did not let any air to the guard's brain. Within minutes, the guard fell to the ground, dead.

Now that all of the Imperials outside of the ship were dead, he could try to get into the ship.
