Good. His shots had been on their mark, and had given him more time. Running as fast as he could manage, the Imperial Guard came closer and closer to the generator compound, which was now almost within a few stone throws; then the firing started again. In response, Ayreon increased his evasive maneuvering, but he knew that such things would not save him for long; the outlaws were not dumb, they were expert shots, and they would find out where to lead him, and he would die.

Expert shots...Just like he was. One aspect of guard training was the ability to be able to make accurate shots without visual confirmation, so without further ado, Ayreon propped his blaster over his shoulder, the muzzle facing his opponents. He could hear them; the bikes were directly behind him now, trying their best to take him down. He fired three shots, three shots that had more potential to be accurate than just wayward blasts, but anything could happen. Clever ducking and darting had gotten him far enough, but he had felt the heat of blaster bolts all over his body, and the smell of burning grass that told him that he had too many close-calls. The last of these close calls came as Ayreon holstered his weapon and began to move on to the next phase in his plan; as he reached for the Force pike, one of the biker's got more than a lucky shot and nailed him right in the calf; as a result, Ayreon went sprawling forward on to the ground.

Sprawling, but unhurt, Ayreon rolled on the ground. He was lucky on two counts for the armor of the Imperial guradsman; one, the inner magnets allowed him to hold on to the detonator as he rolled, and two, the armor was strong enough to resist blaster pistol fire, especially in the calf area. Rolling from his sprawl, Ayreon got to his feet, and continued to run. Unfortunately, as he rolled up, he left a present for the pursuing speeder bikes; a class C thermal detonator, on a motion detector pointed in the direction of the coming bikes; when they passed, the detonator, in all its glory, would explode.

Continuing on, the guard came upon the facility, and of course, the inhabitants didn't like that at all; from inside of the facility, guards shot at him, more shots hitting than those from behind. As he was rocked with the blasts, Ayreon thanked the armor once again, but coulkd feel it breaking as the burning of the blaster bolts began to grace his skin.

But he was now close enough.

With his Force pike drawn, Ayreon wasted no time in slicing a hole with the metre-long weapon that penetrated through the outer shell of the facility, and without dignity, tossed his class-A military model thermal detonator on a three second timer into the facility, then he took off. Adrenaline and pure devotion was the only thing keeping him going as his body screamed for him to stop running, for him to just stop and let the pain from the multitude of shots bring him to the ground, while the merciless fire from his thermal detonator's fifteen-to-twenty meter blast radius over took his body and soul and snuffed them out forevermore.

But he kept on running.

The explosion rocked the ground with an unbelieavable upheaval of sound, debris, and heat. Like previous actions, Ayreon was thrown to the ground, but luckily inside the forest's edge, as he had managed to get out of the fatal blast radius. Shrapnel bounched off of his helmet and armor, but he was alive... With both hands, he crawled into the safety of the forest, where he was met with support from the remainder of Beta team. They picked him up, as he could barely stand, and as a group they continued through the forest, the closest Imperial CP being their destination....

The leader of the Imperial Crimson Guards looked back at the other guardsmen, wondering whether any of them had a view of beta team. As he did so, he heard the explosion, and turned back in time to see the snipers lose concentration, and the shimmer of the shields fail. With grim determination and little pleasure, he aimed his blaster and with the precision-firing that only comes from thirty years of elite missions, shot the three visible snipers in the neck, as a second Crimson did the same on the same targets, and the other two on the far side eliminated those threats.

He activated his internal comlink. "Beta, find the source of the enemy communications, and eliminate them. We need them to know that there are very few people here, but keep them from knowing that we are Crimsons. That means eliminating their communications leader. Take your time, but don't get seen and eliminate anyone that's seen your armour." Eliminate never meant kill, unless necessary, but rather simply making sure that they were kept quiet until the end of the battle.

He took a look back across to the base of the tower, and pondered whether to try and make a break inside, or whether to launch a well-aimed thermal detonator into the sniper cabin atop the tower. The latter was more dangerous to the Crimsons on either side, but the former could end up with them being identified and hunted.

Lorelai Base, Myrkr

The sudden movement was exactly what she had anticipated from him. Chiss were not people to stand by idly and let there rights be taken away. Nor were they the type to go quietly. The harsh gaze of defiance in his crimson eyes had given her the assurance she needed to use him to her advantage. And he was, as she suspected, the only one working for the Underworld. No one else would risk there life so carelessly, especially with Stormtroopers on the high ground. Suppressing the urge to smile, Amira once again started to put on her act. Raising her hand in front of her, she called off one of the many snipers focused in on her attacker.

The crowd that had been secured continued to grow in size as local denizens gathered around to heed her words. The village itself was small, but if she could successfully secure it without a fight, the Empire could use them as cheap labor for the campaign against the more populated areas of the planet. Lorelai base, as it would be called, would be the unlikely staging point of a devastating ground campaign against the Underworld. This particular village was so far out of the way and so useless, that it would easily be overlooked on a larger scale until it was too late.

“If you kill me, you die next. Is this truly the path that you want to take?” her hushed words carried to the crowd as they stood anxiously watching both of them. “If I were here spreading propaganda, I’d be an agent of the Imperial Propaganda Bureau. Do agents fighting on a battlefield wear dresses? Do they land in worlds and attempt to talk rationally to its citizens? I wouldn’t be here if the Empire hadn’t already won.” She leaned in closer and whispered only loud enough for Nathaniel to hear “and if you kill me,” she looked down at a small child no more than four years old looking up at the two of them with wide eyes “you kill him.”

“Let her go!” one of the professors spoke up, pushing his way through the crowd. “If she’s telling the truth, we can’t afford to be slaughtered by the Empire for an open rebellion. If she’s lying, we can’t afford them coming to look for a High Inquisitor either!”

“That’s right!” another member of the crowd yelled.

Amira twisted in her captor’s grasp and turned to stare deeply into his glowing crimson eyes. “It’s your decision.” Lowering her voice, she continued “Do you really want to kill all of them for the satisfaction of killing me?”

Renze's fighters were doing their jobs and killing any stormtrooper that ventured into a clearing but the majority of the army was remaining under cover, Renze chafed at the bit, there was no way for his troops to hurt the Imps under the trees and he didn't like it. Then ha had an idea, Renze turned to his first mate,

"you've got the bridge, contact Savin tell him to get down to the defences and take command," Renze ordered curtly, he glanced out of the viweport at the approaching Imperial fleet and sighed, he had no way to oppose these enemies and he knew it. Renze suddenly had an idea, "engage tractor beams and find me an asteroid that'll fit into a hangar bay, grab it and as soon as it's in start strapping anything we have that'll explode to it."

Renze had left the bridge and made his way to his reserve V-19 in it's docking bay, strapping in Renze punched the ignition, skipped the usual checks and shot out of the hangar bay, rocketting towards Myrkr he switched over to concussion missiles and vectored in on a clearing that contained two AT-STs that seemed to be holding the area. It was time to make some craters, the V-19 Torrent burst into atmo at full speed and left a huge trail of superheated vapor in its path as it shot through the cloud cover towards the clearing, if the Imps had AA he was gone but Renze was betting on their not having had enough time to land heavy weaponry yet.

The Imperial Darktrooper, Phase III, paced the room still, occassionally finding a hole and peering out. After he heard a few bangs and blaster shots being fired at the front door, he thumped it gently - but it was still as rock solid as before. He knew where to attack, when the jamming signal was removed from his controls, and he was ready to break out.

An explosion made the room shake, as nearby a major building was destroyed. As Falcon looked outside, he saw a flash of red and smirked. The tower of smoke was coming from a shield generator nearby, which meant that a group of Imperials was attacking the outpost. Whether they were going to break him out as part of the tactic was a different story; but Falcon would have to move quickly to assure his escape from the planet if they did so.

The shuttle cut in low over the trees as the ghost squads made the short chute jump to the surface. Before they even hit the ground they had cloaked. Each had specialised GPS systems within their visors and a linked locator for them to find each other. Once they RV'd they broke into 5 teams and moved off unseen to scout out the area. OOC/ Nate, I changed the post so you can continue.

Lorelai Base, Myrkr

“Do you really want to kill all of them for the satisfaction of killing me?”

Nathaniel grit his teeth, anger and blood-lust making it difficult to word things right. "Do you know how much I hate it when someone treats me like I am a child?" he retorted. "I was evacuating these children because we were aware that the Empire was attacking the planet. You can say all that you want, but it... it means nothing to me, do you understand now? I was getting them out because I know that your people are going to try and take the planet. It's not been taken already..."

His gaze drifted from her profile to that of the children and instructors who looked bewildered and scared. As quickly as they were turning tail on him now, Nate wondered why in space he had been trying to help them in the first place? Why be "The Red Flame" toward people like these?

"So now that you know what I know... what are we going to do about this, Inquisitor?"

Suddenly a very, very large figure came hurtling down from the sniper tower. Clad in strange looking armor, forged from mandalorian iron, Lestrange landed with a thunderous clap. Two crimson guardsmen who he had landed upon were already crushed by his sheer weight and velocity.

"Hey." he grinned from behind his corinthian helm.

Bringing up his six foot wide, hundred pound axe, the behemoth bashed another guardsmen about the head, shattering his helm.

Viktor stepped backwards with the thermal detonator in his hand as he saw the behemoth of a creature charging towards him, swinging his gigantic axe with tremendous force. Viktor ducked and rolled to the side as the concrete trembled, and dodged again as he tried to see what the other Crimson Guards were doing. Moving nearby, checking to make sure that nobody else was intervening with long-range weaponry, the guards were trying to get a lock on the less-armoured parts of the leviathan, and attempted to prepare to blow him apart with their high-power blasters.

Of course, his Mandalorian Iron covered most of his body - and it was hard to tell what parts weren't defended; the Mandalorian Iron would deflect even strong blasters such as theirs, and Viktor would have a hard time trying to fend off the attacks - and potentially lure Lestrange into breaking open the bunker with Falcon Ghent inside.

"Planets fall," Amira started as Nathaniel loosened his grip slightly as he spoke. Still, his iron-grip was not quite enough to allow her to squirm free even if she wanted to. She could hear his teeth grinding against one another, and a half-smile crossed her lips. She was getting to him. There was no question about it. "But the lives or ordinary citizens like these fine people goes on. What gain would the Empire have in killing any one of them? Absolutely none. I'm not here to harm them, I'm here to help them. So far," Amira continued and jerked her arm slightly "you're the only one to show any hostility here."

Behind them, the Sentinel-class shuttle finished unloading it's cargo and lifted off, staying low enough to the treetops to remain unseen by any aircraft that might happen to be patroling in the area. "Let me go," Amira spoke calmly and clearly, still not allowing the stormtroopers under her command to use force on her captor "and help me gets these people calmed down. The only bad guy here is you, Nathaniel. Don't be that guy."

Nathaniel growled, "You don't know anything about me. Don't assume that you do."

Shrewdly, he seriously wondered why he'd bothered to help the locals. Saede had suggested it, yes, but to what purpose? Public relations? It was clear that they were easily manipulated and had already lost sight of the greater problem.

"Do what you want with these... nerfs," he spat, shifting his grip on her arm to make it painful. "I don't care. But you're not taking me in for questioning. And you're never taking my weapons."

After all, it was the charric that had prompted Nathaniel to action against the Inquisitor. He would not part with the energy weapon while he lived; it had been his mother's, and nearly all he had left of her.

As blaster fire began to rain down upon the man, Lestrange tore forward at Viktor, attempting to bash him across the head with the flat of his axe. The high intensity of the bolts, combined with their frequency of being fired, began to heat up the man's armor as he fought on.

Stray bolts, either marvelously aimed or beyond lucky, managed to land inbetween his armor, sizzling flesh. For the moment, the brute simply reeked of burning skin.

Tyriq looked different, his eyes, his armor, his very being. It was something completely...off about the new imperial office. It was as if the non-forces users experienced what the Jedi go through when they fall to the dark side of the force. A pain that can not be filled by anything in this galaxy over takes them and that look of damnation, of utter discontent.

Tyriq watched from his position in the tree line of the forest located a few yards away from this village. His shakedown mission as one of the empires newest officers was to guard the highly important high inquisitor from all threats posed by her touching down on the surface. It would be a lucky day for him no major military force was trying to arrest the high ranking official, from what it looked like, they where trying to contemplate where or not to take her hostage.

Touching his ear piece, he slowly raised out of the woods with his sights on the man who currently was talking to Hadara. Such disrespect. He lightly pressed the communications device on his chest as he softly spoke.

"Does anyone have a shot on mark one next to the Inquisitor?"

"Negative sir, Ares has no shot."

"Negative sir, Apollo has no shot."

"Negative sir, Cyclops has a shot on the target holding the gun, but not mark."

"Copy, I have a shot on the ground man, take all available shots on my command. Keep yourselves well concealed."

Rising to his feet, Tyriq practiced the unknown distance steps when taking a shot from this far. "All Calvary units prepare to move on my mark. Everything and everyone goes down understood?" The way in which Tyriq just gave the order was evening chilling to his men. They knew they would like him as a commander.

Tyriq then began to walk out with his rifle slung across his body and his hand on the trigger, his looked like an imperial, he was wearing the scout trooper armor, only in all black, which quickly identified him as a commando. The ear piece set off the entire hue over him as he approached and looked into the eyes of the people that dared to look back at him. This display of open freedom to walk through this village without even looked behind him or shaving so much as a trooper with him had to do something to the men and women of the village. The one thing he was sure of was that High Inquisitor Hadara wasn't going anywhere, if they wanted her, unless given directed orders to stand down, she wasn't being captured.

Approaching the tiny circle in the crowd, they quickly parted for the deathly looking imperial commando. Seeing the high ranking imperial talking to the man at this point, Tyriq paused in mid stride. Allowing his foot to touch on the ground, he didn't bring his rifle up, but keep his finger on the trigger to act in a moments notice. Maybe his pressence would 'convince’ the locals the Empire was really well in control of the situation. If not, he would simply give to order to start taking every available shot. No reason to act uncivilized about the matter.

Nathaniel's grip tightened just as a second Sentinel-class transport approached from the distance, carrying with it more supplies and more manpower for the Empire and it's newly established base of operations. She flinched slightly as a sharp pain shot from her elbow to her wrist. That was the last straw. Never waivering for a moment, she shifted her weight and thrust her elbow back into his ribs. Taking advantage of the opening, she twisted her arm in the opposite direction and twirled her body around, bringing her fist up against his nose and following through with a vicious front-kick that tore the seams of her dress. She wasn't sure if the punch would be enough to break his nose, but she had put all of her effort and bodyweight into it, just as her instructors had taught her to do.

With a safe distance between the two of them, Amira readjusted the sleeve of her dress as he held his nose. Training there weapons on the Chiss and backing away to form a circle around him, the stormtrooper contingent still awaited the order to use deadly force.

Following a deep exhale, Amira once again started to speak.

"Nathaniel, look around you. The Empire controls Myrkr whether you want to accept it or not." She shook her head and crossed her arms as a few citizens closed in outside of the Stormtrooper circle. "Surrender yourself, and I'll see that you're treated well."

The axe slammed downwards, and Viktor managed to throw himself aside as the ground trembled and loose brickwork from the building beside him came crashing down on his arm. The armour deflected it, but he felt the sting and realised how dangerous Lestrange was. Of course, he had heard of him in the past, and knew what he was like - but he'd never had to face the beast before.

He jumped backwards to dodge another swing, and then rolled around the corner, now barely fifty meters from the Darktrooper's prison. As he did so, one of the Crimson Guards backed away from their fight, priming a thermal detonator to destroy the jamming signal.

That was an act of aggression like he never seen one, Tyriq instantly went into commando mode seeing as how these talks where over. He lifted his rifle and pointed towards man as his commandos rushed from the tree lines towards the village, they locked their weapons onto every man, women and chilled they saw and waited from a distance, clearly visible to the three of them as they waited for Tyriq command to fire. Moving to the side of the High Inquisitor Hadara, Tyriq softly spoke.

“Nice kick…ma’am.” He then looked his attention back onto the man as imperial commands could be heard brisling behind him. They where entering the homes of the locals and pushing them aside to get to the roofs of the buildings. Once in position, they where now looking down at the square of people as Tyriq waited for the word to go.

Nathaniel looked beyond the High Inquisitor, beyond her Stormtroopers who were prepared to shoot him if he so much moved a muscle. His broad hand clasped the bridge of his nose, trying to stem the flow of mixed blood that streamed down his face and onto his tunic. Pain arced through his head, making thinking difficult, but he stared at the instructors he'd been helping.

Frak them all, but they're my only hope right now, he thought. Serrena would never forgive me if I died right here, helping stupid frakkin' villagers...

Directing his words to those instructors and the charges that he'd been trying to evacuate for them, he shut out the Imperials from his immediate concerns. Through bloodied lips he spoke and, Nate kept his crimson gaze on those teachers.

"This is what you'd let become of the only person around here who thought to warn you? Who thought to protect your children?" He laughed bitterly, blood spraying from his mouth. "You'd sacrifice the 'child' who came to help yours, to buy time while the Imperials overtake your world... You'd sacrifice the freedom the Underworld gave you, the trade we brought to Myrkr? You're about to do that right now, see. Choose wisely."

And the gods let Serrena know I love her if I've failed here...

Though they'd been snowed by the High Inquisitor, Nathaniel's words seemed to make some sense to them too. There was the slightest rustle of fabric and bodies, and then... action. Those who'd circled the Stormtroopers valiantly came to life, attacking with sheer physical force, clubbing at the troopers with arms and legs to bring them down.

Amira looked back at the familiar voice to Tyriq Calrissian, a man she had personally selected to accompany her on this expedition for her own security. She offered him a brief smile and a nod, silently thanking him for his compliments. Her thoughts were more at ease knowing that a man of his prestigue was guarding her back. "It's good to see you, Tyriq."

Returning her attention to the wounded Chiss standing before her, Amira listened intently to his words, all the while thinking of a unique way to twist them to her advantage. A few of the villagers waivered behind her, taking heed to the Chiss' words and exchanging silent gazes and nods. She folded her arms and pushed her tongue deeply into the pocket of her cheek.

"Interesting story, Nathaniel. Very interesting. In fact, it's almost too convenient that you happened to be in the right place at the right time to help save all of these poor, innocent little children from the big-bad Empire." She started to pace with her hands neatly folded behind her back "But let's talk about the facts. Let's talk about the real reason you're here. You're here to lour each and every one of these people to there deaths. After hearing of the Imperial capture of the planet, you were ordered to lour these people into that bunker" she gestured to the bunker only a few yards away "and kill them so that they could not reveal any information to the Empire. Isn't that right?"

As she continued to pace back and fourth glairing at him with skeptical eyes, she shifted her tactics to feed on xenophobia. "Look into his eyes... those cold red eyes. That murderous animal behind them anxiously waiting to escape. Are those the eyes of a savior, or a killer?"

The confusion in the crowd continued as Amira continued "Each of you are asking yourselves, why an Imperial High Inquisitor would be here in the first place. I'll tell you. My mission is to seek out this man!" She gestured toward Nathaniel. "A man who seeks to murder those with sensative information about the planet that might exploit Myrkr's weaknesses. He's here to assassinate each and every one of you to clean up loose ends. Not to help you. His eyes alone can tell you that..."

But before she could continue, a loud thud behind her caught her attention. Turning her attention to the crowd behind her, a distinct knot formed in the pit of her stomach. The crowd itself had not only turned on eachother. They had turned on the Stormtroopers as well. Three of them fell before blaster shots started to ring out from all directions. Drawing her DL-77 sporting blaster, she returned her attention to the Chiss standing infront of her. A cold smile crossed her lips. she had failed to subjugate the town peacefully... but at least they would destroy themselves so she didn't have to figure out a way to kill them all when the right chance struck.

She shifted her attention to Tyriq, not taking her eyes off of the crimson glow of Nathaniel's own eyes. "Kill them all," she ordered. And without a moment's hesitation, she rised the blaster and stuck one fatal blow to the head of the child she had gestured toward during her hushed talks with Nathaniel only moments earlier.

"I told you you'd kill him."

"NOW!" Tyriq handed off his side arm to High Inquisitor Hadara who was already weilding one and began to deliver one shot kills to the advancing villagers. He turned towards the rear of the village to see his men mowing down people who where running at him with clubs. He looked down one of the small alley ways in which several people where trying to take cover. This entire village would pay as he promised in any harm came to her. Grabbing a detonator, he threw it behind the unsuspecting people and grabbed Hadara just to shield her for a second. The blast should have been enough to scare most away from the fighting.

As the men on the roof tops began to pelt the ground with blaster bolts, people laid everywhere lifeless.

"Air Calvary, move!" Tyriq said quickly pressing his comm button as he took another shot and blocked a club, kicking the woman who was attacking him, he knocked her to the ground and shot a single blast into her head. Looking around, this place was about to be the first major disaster of the invasion. The commando lift rose above the tree lines as it glided in providing heavy fire and killing many people in the process. What a waste, as he looked above, he looked at the man and dared him to approach, for if he valued the blood that flows freely through his body, he would quickly leave this place under the safety of the High Inquisitor’s goodwill.

Tyriq watched as people where brought from their homes an forced onto their knees into the dirt streets, the commando’s quickly got a hold of the situation as they beat and shot everyone who was resisting at this point.

"I told you you'd kill him."

For all his relative youth, Nathaniel Alcine had already been through a lot. Too much, in fact. Amira's twisted words had stung him deeply for all that he knew it for propaganda. The animal had been his father who had inflicted the atrocities on his own son that had warped Nathaniel into the man he was becoming, for better or worse. And so, his expression and glare was deadly cold and his words as equally terrible:

"Wasn't my first, won't be my last..." Nathaniel said of the child's death.

...aside from that he's been spared a far worse fate if that's how his care-takers tend to him! he thought bitterly, recognizing the trauma and abuse he'd endured on Csilla in the the schoolboy's immediate trauma.

All hell had broken loose now with the villagers going seemingly mad. The Imperials had battled back and the schoolyard had become a battleground.

And that means it's time for me to go.

He hadn't had a good upbringing and Nathaniel had not had good, positive values instilled into him at an early age. His father had seen to that. It was his own quest to be "The Red Flame" that made him be better, but now... Things had already gone too far. And so, Nathaniel didn't hesitate to ball his free hand into a fist and send it flying into the High Inquisitor's jaw hard enough to knock her to the ground.

Without another word, Nathaniel fled into the chaos, using it as a diversion in order to make his escape.

Tyirq quickly dove unto the punch that was ment for the High Inquistor as he fell to the ground, he would be liying if he said it didn't hurt, truth be told, it knocked him silly for a second. Oh how he would pay for that dearly. Shaking his head, he rose to his feet and watched as the coward ran off. Looking to Hadara he asked.

"Are you o.k. High Inquisitor?" Rubbing his jaw as the thought of chasing after the man grew more appeling to him by the second.

At that very moment, a commando walked up to him asked asked what to do with the captured men and women, without even looking at him he simply spoke.

"What part of kill them all do you have a problem with Lieutenant?"

"Yes sir." The Commando said as he gave the singale as bolts of red bullet cracked against the ground, along with the sound of dead bodies again falling with no intent to get back up.

Drawing his colt anaconda, Lestrange took careful aim for a second. This shot had to count. A thunder crack shook the air as the gun discharged its bullet. The shot hit home, the direct center of the clutched thermal detonator. It then detonated in the guard's hand.

"F*ing worm." he growled as he pursued Viktor.

The brute sincerely hoped this was a small scale rescue mission and not a huge event. Maybe he could take care of it on his own. Working his muscles up to sprinting speed, he began to open fire on Viktor.

Kiara listened as Hath spoke, the young outlaw bounty hunter starting to pace around her ex-wives private quarters, trailing her fingers over the furnature as she did so. Her gaze was drawn out of the window where she looked on in distaste as the space battle raged. She sighed, the other leaders of the underworld were crazy if they thought they could match the military might of the Imperial fleet in a straight battle.

Such battles and wars were not her style, she worked alone and chipped away at an enemy that she could not immediately destroy and the Empire was one such enemy that would need precision strikes to chip away at them so that it would fall apart.

"Such a vessel must have good ventilation." Kiara remarked absently, not answering Hath's question, the comment almost sounding casual.

In truth Kiara knew about the ventilation, she could feel it's cooler flow of air brush against her sensitive skin from across the room and the flow of air being slowly pulled into it, the air along with a heavy dose of her pheromones, the natural aphrodisiac designed to avoid detection by filtration systems so that she could infiltrate large corporations or in this case a large vessel.

"I'm here to make sure that the Empire remembers that numbers and military might all rely on one thing and that's the enemy playing fair."

Kiara moved to the door that she had entered into Hath's quarters through minutes just before, she took her top off and smiled as the concealed pockets of flesh split open and the receeded away to reveal that she hadn't relinquished quite every piece of weaponry to the guards. She revealed a small device which she then placed upon the door, a series of lights blinking across it.

"A motion activated mine." She said simply as she pulled her top back on to cover herself up and moved away from the door as the lights settled and the mine became active.

"I want the Empire to withdraw their forces, I'm sure you can do that for me."

The Professor had remained silently frowning at the head of the bridge since the Chiss Grand Admiral had so abruptly left his company for the sake of entertaining her ex-wife. The outlaw's reference to the Grand Admiral as 'Midnight' would have easily revealed the fact to even a half-wit; the astute scientist had little trouble making the connection, particularly due to the fact that he was well aware of the intimate details of the rest of Imperial High Command's personal histories and backgrounds. Under normal circumstance, he would have certainly dismissed such information as trivial, but Imperial High Command most certainly had a unique composition which had managed to catch the wandering eyes of the mad professor - The Chiss Grand Admiral, the High Commissar which was Mengol's own creation, and there was, of course, the Professor himself... Also, the General Pter Arakin, though his bland military background was of no interest to Mengol, despite the fact that he was a master of his particular discipline.

The question was, what was the purpose of this delightful little visit? There was a broad range of possibilities, but a brief psychological examination of the woman by the manner in which she addressed herself led Mengol to a single, simple conclusion - The woman hoped to utilize their past relationship for the purpose of hindering the Imperial assault on Myrkr... And Mengol would certainly not stand for that. Too many matters of importance were at stake in this invasion... His precious Dark Trooper, the ysalamiri, and most importantly, his future plans for the barely civilized outpost planet. Once more, the professor's gaze slid to the shape of the planet ahead, looking beyond the naval conflict which was in its prime all around him. Yes, Myrkr would make a most suitable fortress for his brilliant vision... Lazily, he tapped at a button on his comlink, tapping into the ship's own intercom system. The direction of his call..? The Grand Admiral's quarters.

"Grand Admiral Hat'ho'ruodo... This is Professor Mengol. I am afraid I must ask you to conclude your former marital partner's visit. Your presence is required at the bridge... I've taken advantage of my liberty to send Commissar Gryne along with the typical security detachment to see your visitor back to her ship."

As soon as Mengol had spoken his name, the cyborg Commissar Gryne - clad in the black, intimidating, mechanized Commissarat armor - started for the Grand Admiral's private quarters, his heavy footsteps upon the durasteel flooring in eerily perfect measure with the hissing of his respirator. Smiling gleefully, the professor turned his attention elsewhere... Namely, the Admiral's seat. He scoffed and folded his arms at his chest, displeased by his own conclusion that sitting in the chair would be a broad stretch on protocol and was likely to set the working military personnel in the surrounding area ill at ease.

He was forced to stand... But he would have his prize. Whatever the IRS Shockwave's guest had planned for the evening would finish before it even began. Of that, Mengol was certain.

Lorelai Base, Myrkr

The Chiss rushed forward, lunging at her with a deadly accuracy and speed that she had not expected. She flinched, but maintained her composure. As he swung, the figure of Tyriq Calrissian, her esteemed body guard on this mission, leapt into action. His actions had helped her far more than he could have possibly known on this force-forsaken planet, and she made a mental note to reward him handsomely for his efforts. Keeping a close eye on Nathaniel as he disappeared into the chaos, Amira nodded her head and helped Tyriq to his feet, still a bit shaken at how quickly things had deteriorated. Still, it all worked to her advantage, and already the citizens of the tiny village were being overwhelmed by Imperial forces.

“I’m fine, thank you.” She smiled reassuringly and helped dust off his uniform. Raising her blaster, she fired off two rounds, killing two advancing men wielding a pitch fork, and what looked like a machete.

“The battle isn’t over yet, Tyriq.” Amira smiled, putting her back against his as a crowd formed around them. Unbuttoning the torn dress from the front, she carefully slid it off revealing a tight black jumpsuit.
