Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Devorah blinked, taken completely aback at the girl's voice and demeanor, her mien cracking more than a touch at similar they were. At how much her mannerisms and her posture were what she'd been trained to as long as she could remember. A deep sensation of revulsion passed through her, thoroughly visible in her eyes for the briefest moment as Nathaniel glanced at her and she shook her head. "I'm going to kill your sister for this..." she muttered for his ears only, in a bit of the Cheunh he'd been teaching her.
She'd had no idea that one of her closest friends could -do- such a thing. Could -own- another living, sentient, being. A dozen ugly words were on the tip of her tongue as Devorah stepped away to set her bag down, and tug the shapeless tunic from her her body. The sleek bodysuit that remained clung to her every curve as she leaned down to gently unlace the fabric at her ankle, revealing a raised branding-scar consisting of five foreign characters.
Walking over to sit by Kari, she smiled softly, tucking a stray lock of white hair behind her ear. Curling her lithe frame into the chair, she nodded. "Hi, Kari...I'm Devorah. Glad you could join us for the mission...we'll need all the help we can get."
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Kari smiled at Devorah, a toothy grin at, for the first time in a while, exposed the pearly whites. At least one person on the team had seemed to have faith in the woman's ability to bring something to these plans. "Thank you, Mistress," was all she offered, she was not one for massive introductions and long speeches. An entire book could be written about a person from the first few words they spoke in any given sentence.
She could feel the tension over Serrena growing in the room, even if the quiet, subtle whispers were too soft for her to hear. She sighed, glancing around the room, tired of being the center of attention, wanting to get on with this and learn her position in this heist. She wouldn't come outright and say those wishes, though, and she had a good bearing that everyone around her knew that, as well. In an effort to save face for Serrena, and perhaps to keep the anger from seething back to her owner, she glanced around the room at all the faces that had been so shaken by her first statements.
"It wasn't Serrena's decision," glancing strong at Kane, who had been so adamant against her status, she didn't know how to function without someone to go home to everyday, probably from lack of experience, but if someone wasn't there, she was horrible at managing both time and skills to get anything done. She knew that, and had warned Serrena long before she stepped onto the Revenge for the first time, and a quiet agreement had been struck.
"It was mine."
With that, she went silent, hoping it didn't have the adverse effect of what she had planned, wishing they would just go back to planning the Heist.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
"It wasn't Serrena's decision,"
Kane turned away from the window and gave a heart felt smile
"It was mine."
The Mando'ad gave a nod " accept my most humble apologies, I shouldn't have judge you or Serrena, also know that i too will be here to assist you in everyway, even though i myself am not a crew member"
Kane walk back to the table and took his seat once more. Taking his glass in hand the he downed the remaining beer in the glass before scooping up some more food.
" I'm ready when you all are" Again he fell silent, his eye wandering to Kari every so often to make sure she was back in her comfort zone!
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Kari glanced back at Kane and caught his eye. She found him handsome, but such things probably wouldn't work. She was always busy on the Revenge, and he was always out doing whatever it was he did, and she was vastly too devoted to the happiness of the crew of her ship. She would take the pleasure of looking while she could though.
Despite her feelings, she still thought she had said a bit much. Somewhere in all the commotion about her, she'd lost herself. She'd lived within the confines of the collar, and the brand that collar hid on the back of her neck, she was incapable of thinking otherwise. She didn't even enjoy people apologizing to her, it seemed vastly out of place in the universe of Kari's mind.
She glanced at Devorah again, then Alema, then Nathanial, then finally back to Kane. She was ready to get on with the meeting. She figured she'd have some unimportant job somewhere, monitoring something, nothing that would require the balls to shoot someone if she had to. She didn't know if she could if she had to.
She bit her lip a little, still side-longing Kane every so often, feeling deeply that she owed him an apology for the little outburst, a quiet whisper of the reality of her life would have been sufficient, and much more appropriate to her. The reserved woman leaned over his way, speaking to him quietly, her eyes averted from habit. She'd been told not to call him master, but he still afforded the respect of such in her mind, and just as well he would be treated with that respect. "I'm sorry for the outburst. It won't happen again." To her, a stern statement was an outburst, she was very reserved. Most people would need to actually raise their voice before they thought they'd put too much into it. A full sentence was more than work for her.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Nathaniel nodded numbly at Devorah. He gave up standing and sat down on the edge of the repulsor-couch, his legs dangling over the edge.
"So... Jon. Shall we get a move on? Is everyone we need here now?"
He was doubly unsettled now, the business between he and Devorah still unresolved. Now, Nate also had to make sense of this "Serrena has her own slave" thing that had him rattled. The pilot just wanted to get on with business. He could focus on that.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Jon nodded a greeting to Tessa as she came in. “You’re not late, Tessa. I was just a little concerned. Alema and you have the most critical roles and I’m afraid I’ll worry until everyone gets home safely. “
Jon smiled at the young slicer. He had run into her a time or two on the Revenge and always enjoyed her upbeat cheerfulness. There was a somewhat odd incongruity about her however. Jon had a visual image of her in his mind as a little princess rather than a criminal lurking about the underworld.
He grinned at her and said, “Tessa, if we ever have the opportunity, I have a younger brother I’d like to introduce you to. He’s a doctor on Rhinnal and I think you two would get along famously.”
Jon watched with curiosity as a new member of the Revenge’s crew, Kari, arrived. Growing up in the Burke family on Dantooine, Jon was never exposed to slavery; however, the mental damage it wrecks upon its victims he well understood. His four years with the sith mistress left him with scars that would never fade away.
He watched with sympathy as Kari’s discomfort was obvious. He chose not to intrude as Kane, Alema, and Dev were actively trying to comfort the girl and he sensed more would be more than she could stand at this point. When she seemed to calm down he stepped forward and told her, “Kari, my name is Jon Paolo. Thank you for joining us.”
“So... Jon. Shall we get a move on? Is everyone we need here now?"
“I think we have all that are coming, Nate. I had hoped for a few more, but, if the plan works, this will be enough. Welcome, everyone to Cloud City. I don’t know about you guys, but, this is my first trip here and I’ve found the views to be spectacular.”
When Jon said that, he thought of Sarah Frost; but, there was no reason or need for the others to know that. He continued with the plan.
“I have several uniforms of different sizes in the bedrooms. They are Frost Industries Shipyard Construction workers uniforms and, as this is a common job for inhabitants of the Port City zone, easily, legally purchased from a variety of local vendors. I also have worker badges for everyone. Even though they were black market, it’s apparently a common occurrence for local criminals to obtain uniforms and badges and slip into the shipyard for petty theft of metals and such things. So, really, even getting the badges was simple. So, far, setting this up has been a piece of cake.”
“I was able to, ah.. persuade Ms. Frost to allow me – a visiting corporate client who happened to have his degree from Corellia University in starship engineering – a tour of the shipyard.” They really didn’t need to know the details of those conversations or Burke Enterprises’ role in them.
Noting a few arched eyebrows he added, “Well, it’s true. That is what my degree is in.”
Sighing at the look on Alema’s face he continued, “Anyway, it was a very productive tour. The LH-3210 is in section 6 on the very edge of the yard. All the sections are connected by long, pressurized walkways for the human employees. I think the only addition to our initial plan that I would recommend would be using a shaped charge to blow the last walkway. Of course, we would do this remotely when we are ready to start the actual takeover.”
“Does anyone want me to go through the full plan again, step-by-step? Kari, you’re the newest member of the team. Have you been briefed or do I need to go through it for you?” he asked with a friendly smile, trying to let her know it was OK to ask, thinking under normal circumstances she may be reluctant to speak up.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Kari looked at him with a quiet understanding of his patience, she didn't know her role in this, she had just tagged along because it got her off the Revenge for the time being. She quietly cleared her throat, trying to relax again.
"I'm going to need a brief, Master, I don't yet know what it is I'm supposed to be doing. I can slice the older computer systems but I think everything here is beyond my skills. I like to think I'm good with people though. Whatever you see best for me to do, I'll take care of it, Master."
She offered a cheery smile to the man. She hoped it wasn't something too complex, she didn't want the world collapsing on her just yet if she couldn't do what was asked of her.
She sunk back into her chair, wiggling her toes a little. She was a little nervous and trying to hide it, but complete honesty was her forte, and her body betrayed her, she was playing with her earrings, always a sign that she had something on her mind that she wasn't yet willing to openly address.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Jon gave Calina a wry smile. He couldn’t help but think of the times she had teasingly called him master while he was helping to train and orient her to the Revenge. Turning back to Kari he said, “Of course, Kari. We’ll go over it until everyone is comfortable with each step.” Framing the outline of the sequence of events in his mind he began.
“The first phase is access. What we will do is, wearing the uniforms and using the worker badges we have, simply walk aboard the shuttle that transfers the construction shift workers from Port City to the Shipyard. We will go individually or in groups or no more than two and use the shuttle designated for Section 6.”
“Once there we will each have to find a concealed location to wait for Alema’s signal. Fortunately for us, most of this retrofit involves the cargo sections of the vessel. The bridge and crews quarters are receiving little work. I think we should try to find locations in the crews’ quarters port side of the bridge. There should be computer access points in them and we can put the slicers in a central position relative to the rest of us to cover them while they work.”
“The second phase, and most critical, is the actual security system hack.”
Jon glanced between Alema and Tessa, trying to gauge their readiness.
“We have several very important tasks that must be done. First is the general override of the security system. You’ll have to determine if it is linked to an external monitoring system; and, if so, fool that system into thinking all is well. Of foremost importance is to kill anything that would activate the onboard security droidekas. Or possibly, claim ownership of their programming so that they actually protect us if need be, rather than attack us. You’ll have to determine what to do when you slice in; but, we are in no position to have a pitched firefight with those devils.”
“Other tasks will be to gain access to shipboard controls for the pilot and to shut down the construction droids to keep them out of the way. The final phase will involve setting off a false alarm of a biohazard to run the other human employees off the vessel and then securing outside access to prevent FI’s shipyard security from entering.”
“The timing of these events will be crucial and I’ll leave that up to your expertise. If at any time you see we can’t break the system or enough of it to be successful - call it. If we don’t set off any alarms we can slip back off at the next shift change.”
“The last phase is deployment. When Alema has shipboard control, she will then set off the biohazard alarms. As the crew evacuates, Kane and his support will slip to the bridge to prepare for breakaway. When I receive word from Alema that everything is ready, I’ll deactivate the ship yards tractor beams at the control room. My plan is to hurry to the boarding gantry, board, and depart with the team. Kane, when the tractors are off, it’s time to go. Give me as long as you can but don’t jeopardize the mission waiting for me. If need be, I’ll blend in with the yard staff and evacuate with them.”
"Kari, if you have slicing skills, stay with Tessa and Alema and help them any way you can."
“It seems like I’m forgetting something. Any questions, guys? Now’s the time to ask.”
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Kane gave a wry grin when Kari whispered the apology. Moving his head slightly forward to prevent her from pulling away to quickly he whispered back. " On Mandalore that is the sign of a strong woman, you have the warriors heart and that I respect deeply"
Kane moved back to his original position and listened once again to Jon go over the details.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Kari let out a deep, long sigh. She hadn't sliced in years. It wasn't something she had ever been proficient with, but as a project one of her owners had decided to teach her something useful in case the droids went awry. She juggled the plan in her mind for a few moments.
"Please forgive me if I'm mistaken, Master, but overriding the droidekas shouldn't be all that hard. If it's a matter of timing, I'm going to need some time, the newer systems confuse me, and I haven't touched a computer in several years, I don't know if I could even pull it off. I will certainly try though, Master."
The ease in her voice was unnatural to most, she spoke honestly and without fear of doubt, despite the fact that she had just clearly stated that she may not be able to do it.
"I do have a question though, Master," and the girl hesitated for a moment, her eyes seemingly lost in thought. Basic wasn't her first language. "What happens if we can't override the droids? Is there a way..." again, silence in thought, "is there a way we could send a false distress if we needed to, Master?"
The hands went back to the earrings, and her little toes started to splay out again, she really didn't want to be the one to screw the pooch.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Jon arched an eyebrow and smiled at Kari. Jon never felt the need to be arrogant enough to claim knowledge he lacked.
“Kari, those are questions that we can only answer once you ladies slice in and see what we are facing. This is a really old Trade Federation vessel. It could have original security systems onboard or ultramodern ones installed by WayneTech. Why don’t the three of you huddle up and come up with a plan to divide up the slicing tasks.”
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Kane smiled when he heard what information that Jon gave. " Well if the old trade federation codes are in place comm me. Every TF ship had a secret overide that was given to each ship. The code is hidden within the ships ID number. Being the head of TF and TS security I was privvy to the sequence. It's all up here"
Kane tapped the side of his head with his index finger.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)“Tessa, if we ever have the opportunity, I have a younger brother I’d like to introduce you to. He’s a doctor on Rhinnal and I think you two would get along famously.”
She returned Jon's grin, pleased with the idea, "Well let me know when and if you get the chance." Ellie wondered, briefly, what traits he was basing this matching on, but was quickly distracted by all the commotion over the slave girl.
Ellie had kept her mouth shut as the others talked to Kari, who was apparently Serrena's slave. That struck her as more than a little odd, and from everyone else's reaction they seemed to feel the same way. She felt bad for the girl, and couldn't even begin to imagine what it was like to be someone else's property. The idea made her uncomfortable, and not knowing what to say or wanting to add to what seemed to be overwhelming attention, she just watched from her place across the room.
When things had settled back down, Ellie smiled at the girl. "Hi, I'm Tessa."
Her attention was drawn back to Jon, who had begun to describe his involvement so far in the heist. Uniforms, badges, explosives... it was certainly shaping up to be a very exciting event. Much more so than she'd ever dealt with before.
She glanced at Alema, flashing her a big smile. Ellie had come to be very fond of Alema, despite not having much to relate on, and was looking forward to working with her. Having another slicer around would make Ellie feel less nervous about the whole thing.
This was what she lived for. Ellie was just barely containing her nervous excitement and energy, knowing it wouldn't do anyone any good for her to be chattering away and bouncing around. Instead, she took to fidgeting with the sleeves of her flightsuit as she ran over the plan and the options in her head. It was a lot to think about all at once.
As she listened to Jon persuade Kari to help them with the slicing, Ellie glanced to Kari again, and nodded to her. "Yeah, come along. Three is better than two, right? I'm sure you'll be plenty helpful."

Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Jon nodded at Tessa appreciatively for seemingly taking Kari under her wing. If the three of them could coordinate their assignments, things would go the best for the team.
“That is good news, Kane. You may want to brief Alema on what specifically to look for that would ID this security as old Trade Federation gear. That would make her job that much quicker.”
Looking the assembled group over once more, he concluded, “OK, guys. This should be an easy, quick job and the Underworld will have a new place to play. We have about two hours before we need to start slipping out to catch the shuttle. Eat, drink, and relax until then. If any of you have any other questions, I’ll be out on the balcony.”
Jon entered the master bedroom and opened the balcony door. He stepped out and leaned against the rail taking in the view one last time. He really hated being in this position. He hoped to the Gods that he could get all his friends home safely.

As Arin looked over her monitors, her eyes narrowed. There was a gathering of the underworld at Bespin, and any time there were that many scoundrels in one place then something big was on the horizon. It could be an opportunity for profit, to contribute, or to snag a major bounty.
In any case, the best place for her to be right now was ...
BESPIN
The Firespray Bishop arced through the gas planet's atmosphere towards Cloud City. Painted in pure silver, the vehicle's lethal nature was clouded slightly by it's bright appearance. Stepping out of the ship Arin was in complete contrast, coming out of the vessel dressed in her black jumpsuit.
The best place to go would be the station's various bars and clubs seeking familiar faces: other bounty hunters or perhaps someone she had encountered recently. There were a few people she had met that she wouldn't mind catching up with.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Nathaniel nodded at Jon, and then looked over to Devorah. "So we just run escort to make sure everyone gets in safe, and out of here safely. Right?"
That seemed simple enough considering all the flight time they'd spent together in the sims. He and Dev could work like a well-oiled unit in their TIE/Ds, even if everything else was presently awkward between them.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Alema watched impassively as Kari did her best to sort out how best she could assist. Her comment that Serrena hadn't simply purchased her--but rather that Kari had had a choice in the matter--made the situation perfectly clear to Alema.
What wasn't so clear just yet was how precisely to accomplish as much as possible with as little effort and expense as she could manage. This job would require a great deal of work, but it would be rapid work. There was to be no slow, plodding, gradual progress. Lightning-fast coordinated actions, and there was no median between failure and success. Less than perfection was not an option.
The issue of uniforms should be irrelevant for the slicing team. Calina and Alema would have no problem getting around. With Calina dressed as the wealthy society dame that she was--whether anyone knew it or not--and Alema dressed as the slave of a wealthy master, the answer was obvious. Every man's fantasy, Alema thought wryly. A beautiful woman and her twi'lek slave. Tessa in her flightsuit could be there as an independent employee of Calina's, and Kari...
Kari could be my attendant. If I were Calina's favorite slave, it would not be unthinkable for me to have authority over the others and a subordinate of my own.
She was finally satisfied that the slicing team and their escort could reasonably explain themselves in the event that they needed to move around openly, got caught, and needed to justify their presence. Alema had little indication that this would be necessary, but she preferred to have her lies ready well in advance.
****
"Always prepare as much as you can beforehand. Prepare more detail than you'll need so that you won't have to think on your feet too much. Why don't you want to do this?"
She knew the wrong answer, and knew why she shouldn't say it. She thought just as well on her feet as she did in advance, but there was another problem with inventing a story on the spot. "Stress," she said simply. "It's more stressful to think of a lie off the cuff, and even if the lie is perfect if you're scared you won't lie as well."
Silence. Had she gotten it right? She could never read her mother. "Precisely. Very good. Now here's your assignment..."
****
With their cover handled, Alema was fairly sure that coordinating the activities of the slicer team was up to her. That was fine. It would take several minutes' consideration to put things together, but according to all reports, Alema had that much time and more.

Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)"We should head to the hangers then...with our cover as ship techs, we out to have no problem working on a shuttle and keeping our eyes open until the time is right." Devorah added, tugging irritatedly on a corner of the black silken bodysuit.
With a gentle smile for Kari, the pilot stood and joined Nathaniel on the other side of the room once more, tugging her boots back on securely. Nimble fingers secured the buckles and double check the blasters hanging from her hips.
"Nathaniel and I should probably get going first, then...maintenance shift in the hangers is changing now, so it won't look off if we get in there with a group of the others."

Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Silence permeated from the woman, who wouldn't quit playing with her damned earrings. She was very nervous, glancing at Alema and Tessa with clockwork regularity, wanting some sign of clarity in her mind. She'd help out any way she could, but she feared the ship was far beyond the skills she knew. She wasn't a seasoned slicer, her abilities seemed to her the rough equivalent of putting gas in a lawnmower. She glanced at Alema for a long moment, then glanced at Calina, no one seemed to be saying anything relevant.
"Excuse me, Ladies, but how am I going to get in, I don't exactly carry the demeanor of a tech."
This was going to be a verbal nightmare if she actually had to speak to someone, her accent hung in the air thicker than spices, she couldn't hide the fact that she was still, on one level or another, learning to talk to people in Basic. If, for some reason, the foreman or someone asked her a question in Huttese, she'd be able to rattle rancor crap at him for hours, but Basic was going to get her into trouble. She would inevitably get scared and revert back to her most basic of mentalities, saying words that didn't apply to paid employees.
She looked at Alema again, the lia'ry in obvious discomfort once again. She saw the understanding in the woman and looked at her like a second mother. Her own mother hadn't been the finest of examples, she had to keep one of the Hutts entertained once Kari had been old enough to walk.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Nathaniel quickly changed into one of the mechanics uniforms he found in the bedroom as Jon had said he would. It was a bit baggy on his slender frame, but not so much that it was that noticable. In the jumpsuits pocket, he carefully placed his Charric; Nate went nowhere without that Chiss-designed energy weapon. And for appearance's sakes, he removed the metal wrought bracelet on his wrist and pocketed it as well. A cap again shielded his eyes from quick-notice.
"Ready, fancy Phoenix," he said with a smirk as he emerged after changing. "And you're right. We need to get going so we blend in."
He glanced at the others, quietly hoping they were all capable enough to pull this off. If someone slipped, it might take down the whole operation.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)"Hm." Alema nodded to Kari. "We should not need to pretend we're technicians. If I'm understanding the plan correctly so far... I'd be surprised if we physically needed to be in with the team. After all, we're working through their computer system and if that can't be accessed remotely they'd have no way to monitor it and protect all those big, expensive items."
"Calina is the obvious choice for the leader of our little flock of females, and if anyone sees us we should be able to claim that she's, in some way or another, an employer to each of us. Tessa is an independent entity working with Calina, and I'm the well-heeled personal companion of our lady. In fact, I'm so favored that I have my own personal assistant." She held one hand out toward Kari. "Which means that if we run into any trouble, I can take care of you without anyone knowing the real reason why."

Wrinkling her nose, Devorah managed to keep her expression otherwise even. She stepped into the nearby dressing room and picked up the second mechanic's uniform, shaking her head at her initial distaste. Oh well, now this is lovely, isn't it...she thought to herself, slipping the uniform on over her bodysuit, as the shapeless dress dropped to the floor.
She pulled her dyed hair back into a simple braid, winding the shimmering white locks into a tight configuration. The uniform hung loose on her lush figure, but a simlpe utility belt and carefully tucking it into her boots made it servicable. A single blaster was tucked into the small of her back, hidden under a fold of fabric.
Back in the room with the others, Devorah nodded and made her way to the door. "See you all afterwards - I'll bring the rum..."
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Iria felt really out of sorts. Her hair was minus it's usual blue dye and hanging in a loose auburn braid down her back.
Her favorite blue outfit had been exchanced for a white pants suit. Her sand colored long coat was tossed over one arm,
that arm had her beskar dagger up the sleeve. Her verpine pistol she'd left behind along with Cuyan. That was the hardest part. Leaving her furry companion behind but the strill understood. She needed to blend in at the moment.
She smiled as she passed a white hair tech lady, (Dev) and headed into the room. She spotted Kane amongst the rest.
"Sorry I'm late." she said as she neared the table.
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Kane looked up and smiled " Su'cuy Vod'ika" Kane held up a glass of wine " Papuur'gal Iria, bic Ori'Jate" ( Wine Iria, it is very good).
Kane finished greeting his clan sister and turned to Alema. He pulled a datapad out of his pocket and put a comm piece to his ear.
" Nell, if you can hear me I need you to send an ID code for a random Trade Federation ship, using the old codes, over"
Moments later he received a response and seconds after that the code appeared on his datapad. " Okay Alema, I need you to study this carefully"
Kane began to show the highly skilled slicer how the trade federation linked ship Id numbers to security bypass codes. It was a complicated system using the ID numbers in a jumbled order, but not difficult to figure out once the pattern became clear. Sometime into the examples he was showing her Kane looked Alema in the eye. " It's a little complicated but I can give you the datapad to study on the way there, all should go well if they are using the old codes otherwise I can be of no further assistance"
Something told the Mando'ad that Alema was picking it up faster than most, he smiled inwardly knowing that all would go well with this team Jon had assembled. He then walked over to Kari, on the wway he signalled Iria to join him. Kane was about to ask the former slave girl to help him navigate the ship, he was confident that as a slave she must have picked up something from watching her former masters. He also had thoughts of tracking each of them down and making them pay in a traditional Mandalorian way!
Re: A New Haven (TGU/CFR/Invite)
Nathaniel lifted an eyebrow beneath the wide brimmed cap he was wearing as he looked over at Devorah. "Nice hair, by the way..."
He grinned and ducked out of her way, expecting her to smack out at him. They settled into a comfortable but steady pace, heading back toward the hangar bay. Mixing in with the other sentient workers was no fuss. The credentials Jon had supplied gained the entry through the security checkpoint and into the service area beyond.
