The words her youngest daughter had told her just yesterday ringed in her head. “I’m sorry; Katrina and Kahne have adopted me. I need a real family you know, people who will take care of me and love me.” Emily shook her head and sighed as she walked along the streets of Ziost. She could feel the darkness all around her and let it consumer her. The young woman couldn’t believe that her own daughter would betray her like that. The one person she had always thought would be there.
The jedi council itself had turned its back on Emily after her divorce from Hawk. The other jedi seemed to distance themselves from her now and not talk to her. They pushed her to the side in her greatest time of need. The jedi would pay for what they did to her; she would not let them get away with it. She wasn’t going to let them take away the rest of her life. Emily was worth something and she would show everyone that she wasn’t weak. Sapphire eyes glared around looking for the sith temple. It was around here somewhere. She needed to have a word with these sith people and stop sitting around letting the jedi run her life. Emily wanted to be in charge of herself.

" I feel your anger." said a voice from behind her " I feel the Force strong in you. " he continued "But you are not like the other hopefulls seeking the Dark Side. No...you already know the ways of the Force." he finished coming out from behind a shadow that hid his form.
Darien had followed the young woman since her arrival on the planet. From the moment he saw her he realised she was a Jedi. But she was not here on official buisness apperantly. Constantly he could feel fear and hatred coming out of her.
" You have the Jedi stench all over you. Yet your feelings are not in check like I would expect." he began as he came closer to her " So I see myself forced to ask: What are you doing on this planet Jed?"

Fidelis sat at the security terminal in the temple. His eyes following the blond figure on his screen. She was beautiful but also looked very much like another jedi he knew. Except this one had a dark aura about her. Almost as if the darkside had found its self in her heart.
He had only a few Harbringers in that sector. And they were under Rest and Relaxation orders. They would be upset to leave the brothel but their lives were his. He clicked his communicator.
" Commander Estrada, we have a visitor. Bring her to me as unharmed and unspoiled as she stands now".
Unlike Fidelis his men took what they wanted from a female. They had no chivalric code to prevent them from it. They had no honor they were killing machines. He would await this female in the interogation room.
Estrada pulled his axe out as he approached the female. She was good looking but he would stop his men. If only to not suffer his masters wrath. He stopped before her and put a hand out.
Yet another sith approached, Estrada ignored him for a moment to speak to the female. Clickin silently a button attract Fidelis attention.
" Sabers please lass, IF you dont mind follow me. Someone is waitting. As for you lord i suggest you leave this one be, another sith who resides on the planet has claimed her blood tonight".

Emily turned towards Darien unclipping her lightsaber but she didn’t ignite it yet. She wasn’t going to take crap from him even if he was a sith. The young woman was about to answer his next question when a group of men came up and asked for her lightsaber. Glaring at them she threw it at them.
“Take it; I have no need for a weapon of the jedi. However, I’m not going with you. I answer to nobody.”
Easily amused and determined
to understand it all.

Even as Emily was finding her way to the Sith temple, Shakti was finding her way back with a couple of books under one arm. She didn't like many of the people she met there, but they did have good libraries. None of this mollycoddling smothering overprotective censorship crap that she got in Jedi temples.
There appeared to be some sort of altercation in the street, which Shakti could ordinarily handle. On the other hand, something about groups of men harassing women in the street annoyed Shakti, mostly because she didn't like to be in that position. Maybe it would be prudent to keep an eye out, and see if she couldn't figure out whether this was a garden-variety annoying lapse of control for Sith with no apparent ability to restrain themselves... or whether it was something unusual. Something interesting.
Left the Jedi, Shakti thought, listening from a distance. So she's not an idiot, then. Wonder why she did it. Unable to feel what Emily's mind was transmitting to Darien, Shakti had to rely on observation. When Emily threw her lightsaber to one of the men she was speaking with... Well, Shakti was confused. She was disarming herself and decreasing her ability to resist even as she proclaimed her independence.
So she may be an idiot after all. But maybe an interesting idiot. We'll see how long it lasts before she drives me nuts.
With her books still under her arm, Shakti pulled her lightsaber from the deep pocket of her pants. Her fingers curled around the folded alusteel handle and her thumb ran over the design below the emitter lens. Hopefully she wouldn't need it, but the threat of force probably needed to be there. Some Sith just didn't speak any other language.
She whistled from just across the street. "You know how awkward it is to start a conversation by claiming somebody's blood? That's downright weird."Edited by: Darth Shakti at: 8/24/07 6:02 pm

One might think that Emily was now unarmed but they would be wrong for inside of her boot was another lightsaber. This one she had gotten from a sith a long time ago and now claimed it as her own. If need be, she would take it out but Emily wasn’t here to fight but to join them.
Turning to the new comer she gave a little smile. This one seemed sensible and looked as if she might be able to help her.
“I know especially when I’m trying to join you. I’m interested in joining the sith council. Anyone want to help me?”

From the shadows Fidelis lept landing softly beside if officer. His eyes a blaze with the unnatural yellow light. He looked over the other two sith then at the jedi. She did indeed resemble the one he had tried to kill. If she was the same he would finish her here.
He drew both of his sabers, leaving Mi'kri on his back. The warrior glared at both the other sith. Mostly towards the other male.
" You are interfering with Ziost Security Protocol 43442-21443 B. Which states all jedi are to be brought in to the Temple for interrogation and execution if so deemed they are unsaveable from the light".
He ignited both of his light sabers keeping one angeled towards the other sith. He was ready for one of them to make his day even better then it had been. He realized the name of the female.
" Katrina Garnier, the prostitute wife of Kahne. So good of you to come here to find your revenge against me. Now i can finish what i started".

Emily turned to face the new comer among the sith who had called her Katrina. A grow came from her and she did her best not to punch him.
“Are you some kind of idiot? I don’t look like my sister. Katrina has brown hair and green eyes. Clearly I have blonde hair and blue eyes. My name is Emily.”
Brushing her hair back Emily smirked at Fiedelis. He seemed to want to talk to her even though he was rather stupid.
“I would hate interfere with protocol so if you must I will come with you so you may interrogate me. I’m not looking for trouble here on the contrary I would like join the darkside.”
